Kukkaa pukkaa joulukorttiin!
Here are some Christmas flowers for you for a change. This is the amaryllis stamp from the 'Winter Blossoms' set by Penny Black, I coloured it with Distress Markers. I then did some partial die cutting with a My Favorite Things die and stamped the sentiment (it says 'Christmas Greetings' in Finnish). The background paper is from the 'Christmas Cottage' line by Teresa Collins and as the only embellies there's a piece of twine and a tiny little jingle bell.

Lumihiutale - Snowflake
Tein tämän kortin Uniko Studiosin haasteluonnoksen pohjalta.
I found a fab sketch over at Uniko Studios' challenge and decided to use it to make a card. Unfortunately, I don't have any Uniko Studios products (yet ;) ) so I decided to use my newest Hero Arts stamp called 'Dotted Snowflake' which I heat embossed in silver. I die cut the banner, stamped the sentiment on it (it says 'Merry Christmas' in Finnish) and attached it with foam adhesives. Then I matted the panel onto some silver glitter paper and attached the whole thing on a card base with foam adhesives.
Haasteet/Challenges:
* Uniko Studios: Challenge #16 - Anything goes with a sketch
* Time Out Challenges: Challenge #19 - Embossing with the optional twist of sparkle

Simppeli seppele - Wreath
Tämänkertainen luonnos CAS(E) this Sketch! -haasteessa on aika omiaan tälle WPlus9:n Woodland Wreaths -leimasetille, sillä siis mennään. Leimasin valkoiselle tekstuuripintaiselle kartongille seppeleen oksineen ja marjoineen ja alle FinnStamperin tekstileiman. Tekstileima ja marjat on leimattu Encoren kultaisella musteella, seppeleen oksat Distress Inkillä ja havut Heron musteella. Ja siinäpä se, simppelillä linjalla taas :)
The sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch! challenge is perfect for the 'Woodland Wreaths' stamp set by WPlus9, so that's what I used for this card. I stamped the wreath on white textured cardstock using Hero Arts Shadow Ink in green, Distress Ink in brown and Encore metallic ink in gold. The sentimet says 'Merry Christmas' in Finnish. That's my little CAS card, hope you like it! :)

Tähtiin tuijottelija - The one watching stars
Taas ympyräkortti, taas joulukortti - joko alkaa kyllästyttää..? ;) Tein tähän korttiin taustan Twinkling H2O -vesivärillä nimeltä Northern Lights ja paperin kuivuttua stanssasin sen Simon Says Stampin Falling Stars -stanssilla, osan pienistä tähdistä jätin paikoilleen ja osan otin pois, taustalle laitoin hopeisen glitter-paperin. Samasta paperista stanssasin lumihiutaleet Penny Blackin Snowflake Trio -setin pienimmällä hiutaleella. Lumikinokset stanssasin Simon Says Stampin Curved Edge -stanssilla ja peuran leimasin ja leikkasin irti, kiinnitin tarrapaloilla hieman koholle.
Another circle shaped card, another Christmas card - are you getting bored with these yet..? ;) I made the sky for this card by painting some Twinkling H2O watercolour ('Northern Lights') on some watercolour paper and after it had dried, I die cut it using the Simon Says Stamp die 'Falling Stars'. I left some of the little stars in their places but took most of them off, and on the back I put some silver glitter paper so that it peeks through the tiny stars. I also die cut the snowflakes from the same glitter paper using a Penny Black die from the 'Snowflake Trio' set. I then die cut the snowdrifts using the Simon Says Stamp die 'Curved Edge'. I stamped and fussy cut the deer and adhered it with some foam adhesives to give it a little dimension. The sentiment says 'Merry Christmas' in Finnish.
Haasteet/Challenges:
* Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: To the Moon
* Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: We're Seeing Stars
* Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge #6: Die-cutting

Joulurauhaa ja ympyröitä - Christmas peace comes in circles
;D ), paperit on Echo Parkin.
I think it's been ages since I last used felt and buttons in my cards but I did today and remembered how I love them both :) It's funny how you sometimes just 'forget' to use some products in your crafting, even though you like them. Felt and buttons have been my 'forgotten products' for some time now but I think I'll be using them more from now on as I really just love them. Well anyways, I used a new favourite product here as well, namely the 'Loopy Leaf' die by Paper Smooches - such a cute little leaf! I die cut the cardbase and the papers with Lifestyle Crafts' circle dies and the little fishtail banner with a My Favorite Things die. The papers are by Echo Park and the sentiment says 'Christmas peace' in Finnish.
Haasteet/Challenges:
* Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge Blog: Anything goes
* Time Out Challenges: Challenge #18 - Photo Inspiration (I took the round shape from the wreath; the brown rustic colours inspired my use of the twine; and the letters/words in the photo inspired my use of the patterned paper with the text/words)
Hauskaa alkavaa viikkoa! :)
Thanks for your time today, I'd love it if you left me a little comment :) Have a happy week! :)

Unisieppari - Dreamcatcher
Koristeina paljetteja. Taustan tein Dawn Woleslaglen Bokeh made easy -tekniikalla, tosin en käyttänyt vesiväritaustaa kuten Dawn, koska se ei ihan onnistunut (kröhöm...) vaan ihan yksiväristä kuviopaperia. Bokeh-ympyrät tein valkoisella Heron musteella ja pienimmät kirkkaalla Wink of Stellalla.
My cousin celebrated her birthday the other day and I made her a birthday card. She loves dreamcatchers (as do I :) ) so I thought she might like a card with one as well. My dreamcatcher is made with WPlus9's Dreamcatcher die, I die cut all the parts from white Papermania cardstock, and I also die cut the feathers from vellum. I dipped the ends of the feathers in a bottle of Ecoline liquid watercolour and then dapped a little white Hero Arts ink on top because they turned out a bit too dark for my liking. As embellies (or caught dreams ;) ) there are some white sequins. The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink. I made the background following Dawn Woleslagle's 'Bokeh made easy' tutorial, although I didn't use a watercoloured background as she did (mainly because mine didn't turn out too pretty... ;) ), I just used patterned paper. The bokeh circles are made using white Hero Arts ink and a Wink of Stella brush pen. The background looked really nice but unfortunately, it doesn't look as nice on the photos :/
Haaste/Challenge:
* Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Ornaments
Pisteet sinulle, jos näet pienimmät Wink of Stellalla tehdyt ympyrät tästä kuvasta ;D
Can you spot the tiniest circles made with a Wink of Stella brush pen? :D

Peurat - Deer
Tähän joulukorttiin tuli talvista metsämaisemaa. Peurat leimasin Heron musteella (Cup O' Joe) ja leikkasin irti. Lumihiutaleen stanssasin Penny Blackin stanssilla ja lisäilin timanttia keskustaan. Lisäksi vähän nyöriä ja tekstileimaa ja kokoaminen tuolle ihanalle Bo Bunnyn koivikkopaperille (peurat ja lumihiutale on kiinnitetty 3D-tarroilla hieman koholle).
I used my new stamps for this Christmas card, I bought them second hand so unfortunately I don't know the manufacturer. Anyways, I stamped and fussy cut the deer and attached them with foam adhesives onto the gorgeous patterned paper by Bo Bunny. I die cut the snowflake with a Penny Black die and attached it with foam adhesives as well. I used some twine and a rhinestone to finish off the card. Oh, and the sentiment says 'It's Christmas night' in Finnish.
Haaste/Challenge:
* Penny Black and More Challenge: November Challenge - Anything goes

Joulurauhaa - Christmas peace
Tekstileima on leimattu Heron musteella (Cup O' Joe) ja nuo oksat stanssattu WPlus9:n Under the Mistletoe -stansseilla. Lisänä vähän narua.
Well whaddaya know, it's a Christmas card again... :D And this time it's really clean and simple, I think. There's just some white Papermania cardstock, a strip of patterned paper, a sentiment stamped with Hero Arts' Cup O' Joe ink (and it says 'Christmas peace' in Finnish), some twine, and a couple of twigs die cut with a WPlus9 die 'Under the Mistletoe'.

I met my crafty friend Nonni from the Korttikarkuri blog last weekend and was invited by her to take part in the current Inkspirational challenge and I was to use the stamp set she chose for me (it was BasicGrey's 'Grow-a-garden', an oldie but goodie). I accepted her invitation and of course I had to challenge her as well (naturally! ;) ), so I asked her to use Stickles glitter glue straight out of the bottle, something she never does. She did her part beautifully, I have to say, so I hope I'm filling my part any way nearly as well... I did some masking in my card and used the biggest Post-it notes I've ever seen (a gift from Nonni, thank you! :) ) to mask the panel and then sponged some Distress Inks onto it. The branch and the owls are from the BasicGrey stamp set and the sentiment is from an Inkadinkado stamp set called 'Bird Assortment', I used grey Archival Ink to stamp them all. And that's pretty much all I did, it's once again quite a simple card.
Haasteet/Challenges:
* Inkspirational Challenges: Challenge #68 - Photo Inspiration
* Time Out Challenges: Challenge #17 - Inspired by Words 'Birds of a Feather Flock Together'
* Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes
