Snowman Hugs for Birthday

I couldn't resist using the adorable Snowman Hugs stamp set by Penny Black again. These images are just so very sweet and as I needed a wintry birthday card, I thought this stamp set worked perfectly.

I coloured the images with my Karin markers before masking the edges of the panel and sponging Distress Oxide ink in Stormy Sky to the panel. After layering the panel onto some dark blue cardstock (which looks black in the photo..), I die cut the banner with Pocket and Banners die out of the same dark blue cardstock and heat embossed a sentiment from Snippets sentiment set onto it.

PBSC: January

It's time for a midway reminder for Penny Black Saturday Challenge. The theme for January is, as always, Anything Goes (with at least one Penny Black product) with the optional theme of Something New.

My something new is the Penny Black  die I used on the pink border. It's called Stitched with Love and I used it on cardstock I first sponged with Distress Oxide ink in  Worn Lipstick. The stamped image is from the stamp set Hugs!, I coloured the image with my Karin markers. The sentiment is also 'something new' as it is from the new sentiment set Without Limits. I die cut the edge of the stamped panel with a die from the die set Border Collection. Lastly, I embellished the card with some silver half pearls.

Fairy Love

 This little fairy girl is the cutest ever! It's a stamp called Fairy Love by Penny Black.

I coloured the image with my Copics before fussy cutting it out. For the background, I used Lovely Border die on white cardstock and I placed pink cardstock behind it so that the colour peeks through the little hearts. I then die cut the circle with Stars and Circles die, adhered it in place and stamped the sentiment from the new sentiment set Without Limits inside the circle. Lastly, I adhered the fairy girl in place with foam adhesives and embellished the card with pink enamel dots.

Showered in Love

I think the teddy bears by Penny Black are so cute! This cutie is from a new stamp set called Showered in Love.

I coloured the image with my Karin markers and fussy cut it out. I created the background with Line of Hearts die, I die cut it three times out of white cardstock and then a couple of times out of yellow cardstock and adhered the die cuts in place. The sentiment is from the same stamp set, I heat embossed it onto a banner die cut with Pocket and Banners die. I adhered the banner and the teddy bear with foam adhesives.

It's time for the first challenge of the year at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. As always, our theme is Anything Goes with the optional theme being this time Something New.

My something new is the word die I used. It's called Hugs Edger by Penny Black. I die cut the word 'hugs' twice and glued the the words on top of each other. On the panel I stamped a sweet image from the stamp set Hugs! and coloured the image with my Karin markers. I adhered some patterned paper from the paper pad Painted Blooms on my card base and adhered the panel on top of it before adhering the word 'hugs' in its place. I embellished the card with a single butterfly die cut with Soaring die and adhered an enamel dot on its body.

Immense Love

I created this friendship card with some new products from Penny Black's new collection, Showered in Love, mixed with some older goodies from previous collections.

The bear that I decided to turn into a Care Bare is a stamp called Fur-Ever Yours, I coloured the stamped image with my Copics and also added a bit of Nuvo shimmer pen to the heart (it doesn't show in the photo though) before die cutting it with the matching die. The tiny hearts around him and on his belly are die cut with Hearts Galore die out of white cardstock and coloured with a Copic. The new big word die is called Immense Love. I die cut it twice, stacked them on top of each other and then coloured them by sponging them with Distress Oxide inks in Ripe Persimmon, Dried Marigold and Scattered Straw. The patterned paper on the background is from the paper pad Painted Blooms. I adhered everything in place and also added some foam adhesives behind the bear's head and the heart to make it look like he's reaching out of the 'O' before stamping the sentiment from the new sentiment set Without Limits.
