Penny Black Share the Love: Key to Kindness, part 3

Well, I did tell you that I love the new Key to Kindness stamp set by Penny Black, didn't I? So much so that I made a third card with it! This time I used the wreath from the set, coloured it with my Copics again and fussy cut it out. Then I stamped the sentiment from the new Only You sentiment set inside the wreath and added a tiny heart inside the O, I die cut it using Hearts Galore die. I added a doily behind the wreath (now that I found them again, I'm using them all the time!) and a bit of patterned paper from the Gentle Whisper paper pad which I matted onto pale pink cardstock before adhering it to my square cardbase.

Penny Black Share the Love: Key to Kindness, part 2

I love the new Key to Kindness stamp set by Penny Black so I made another card with it. I coloured the image with my Copic markers and fussy cut it out. I die cut the frame with the new Stitches of Love die set and used some patterned paper from the Gentle Whisper paper pad for the background. I stamped my sentiment from the new Hug Me sentiment set directly onto the patterned paper. I've found my love of doilies again :) so I used a doily and a bit of twine behind the stamped and fussy cut image that I adhered with foam adhesives. I finished the card by embellishing it with some sticky back pearls.

Penny Black Share the Love: Key to Kindness

I'm sharing the love again with a card made with new stamps and dies from the new collection by Penny Black called Share the Love. This time I decided to make a shaker card the easy way so I took a cellophane bag, inserted a bit of patterned paper from the paper pad Gentle Whisper and added my sequins in there (no playing with foam adhesives needed!). I die cut the frame using the new Stitches of Love frame dies and adhered it to the shaker part. The stamped image I used is from the new Key to Kindness stamp set which is one of my faves, the florals in the set are so whimsical and pretty. I coloured the image with my Copic markers and fussy cut it out. I then heat embossed the sentiment from the new Only You sentiment set onto a strip of grey cardstock and added the pink die cut 'you' (die cut with For You die set). For the background, I used patterned paper from the paper pad Beau Jardins.

Penny Black Share the Love: Heart Border

Happy New Year and happy 'Roaring 20s'! I'm beginning my 2020 crafting with a CAS card made with new products from the new and fabulous Penny Black release called Share the Love. This is a very clean and simple card with minimal stamping so it's quick and easy to make. I first die cut a panel of white cardstock with the new frame die called Stitches of Love, I love these new frame dies, each size comes with different stitching around the edges. I then die cut the panel with a new die called Heart Border which cuts a sort of negative image on cardstock. I also die cut the Heart Border on pink cardstock so that I could get the hearts in pink. I folded my cardbase out of red cardstock and adhered the white panel on it. I then stamped my sentiment, it's from the new sentiment set called Hug Me, on the white panel and adhered the pink hearts in place. Lastly, I added a couple of tiny rhinestones in two of the hearts.

Hyvää Uutta Vuotta ja uutta vuosikymmentä! Aloitin uuden vuosikymmenen askartelut CAS-kortilla, jossa on hyvin vähän leimailua. Stanssasin ensin paneelin valkoisesta kartongista Stitches of Love -stanssisetin stanssilla. Sitten stanssasin paneeliin tuon sydänkuvion Heart Border -stanssilla, samalla stanssilla stanssasin vielä pinkkiä kartonkia, että sain pinkkejä sydämiä. Korttipohjan taittelin punaisesta kartongista ja kiinnitin siihen valkoisen paneelin, johon leimasin tekstin uuden tekstisetin Hug Me leimalla. Lopuksi kiinnitin pinkit sydämet paikoilleen ja pariin sydämeen laitoin koristeeksi pienen timantin. Kaikki käytetyt tuotteet ovat Penny Blackin ja saatavilla nettikaupastaan, linkit yllä.

Penny Black Share the Love: Tenderness

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! With Christmas behind us now, it's time to look forward to Valentine's day and Penny Black has just released new stamps and dies that are perfect for all Valentine's day creations and the collection is aptly named - Share the Love! I'm going to Share the Love with a floral card that I made with a stamp set called Tenderness and its matching dies. All the floral stamps are from the said set, I coloured them with my Copic markers and die cut them with the matching dies. For the background I used a die called Diamond Cut, I cut it once out of white linen textured cardstock and just used the frame. Second time I die cut it out of kraft cardstock and fitted that die cut into the white frame (the white you see peeking from behind the kraft panel is my card base). I then heat embossed the stamped part of the sentiment on a strip of dark brown cardstock, the stamp that says 'I love' comes from a new stamp set called Only You. The 'You' I die cut with an older die called For You and adhered it onto the sentiment strip. I then arranged and adhered all the flowers and the sentiment strip in place.

Wreath for Christmas - Kranssi jouluksi

Once again I decided to make a Christmas card with a non-Christmas stamp, simply because I wanted to colour this image :) Also I think she looks quite festive and her wreath looks like it could be a gift so I think she fits well for the job. The image is Curvy Girl with a Heart Wreath by Stamping Bella and I coloured the image with my Copic markers. I also added a bit of Stickles glitter glue to the yellow flowers in the wreath. I die cut the glittery gold frame with an MFT die and the word die is by Penny Black, as is the heat embossed part of the sentiment. I added a bit of vellum behind the frame. For the background, I chose patterned paper with some festive ligths. Lastly, I embellished the card with some enamel dots.

Here are the Christmas cards I made with MFT's Sweet Holiday Penguins set. I have a thing for penguins and these are just so very cute! For all of the cards, I coloured the images with my Copics and used dies by Penny Black, except for the banner which is an MFT die. The sentiment in all of the says 'Christmas Joy' in Finnish.

AAA Birthday #8: December - Joulukuu

It's December, time for a new challenge at AAA Birthday and our theme this time is 'Balloons & Banners'. As our Guest Designer, we have the talented Maaike joining us.

For my card, I used the cute little mouse with his balloon from the Penny Black set It's Your Day. I coloured the image with my watercolours and added some details in my white Gelly Roll pen. I also sponged some Distress Oxide ink to the edges of the image. I then die cut the frame using Penny Black's Stitched Loops die and adhered it in place. The banner is by Lawn Fawn, I stamped and die cut it before watercolouring it. I stamped the sentiment ('Congrats') with tiny alphabet stamps by Papertrey Ink onto the banner and adhered the banner in place. Lastly, I embellished the card with clear sequins.

Penny Black First Snow: Sweet Sledder

Here's a new card I made with a new stamp from the latest Penny Black release. This one is called Sweet Sledder and I think it is such a cute stamp. I decided to colour the image with my watercolours, I also sponged some Distress Oxide ink to the image and added falling snow. I then die cut the panel with Leaf Stitched Frames die, matted the panel onto grey cardstock and stamped a sentiment from the new sentiment set Winter Chill. For the background, I used some patterned papers from the Wintertime paper pad. I embellished the card with a die cut snowflake (Polar Pair) and added a blue rhinestone in the middle of it.

Here's a Christmas card using one of the new stamps from the latest Penny Black release called First Snow. The stamp is Conifer Wreath, I heat embossed it in gold and watercoloured the image. I then sponged some Distress Oxide ink to the edges of the panel before splattering it with gold spray (I used my watercolour brush for the splattering). I die cut the word 'joy' out of glittery gold cardstock using Penny Black die Merry and Joy and adhered it in place. I then matted the panel onto dark brown cardstock before adhering it onto kraft coloured card base. Lastly, I embellished the card using gold sequins.

Christmas Roses - Jouluruusut

This gorgeous image is a stamp by Stampendous called Christmas Roses. I stamped it three times across the top of the die cut panel (die cut with Penny Black's Leaf Stitched Frames) and coloured it with my Copic markers. I then stamped the sentiment (it says '(Wishing You) Peaceful Christmas Time' in Finnish) before adhering it to my dark red card base. Lastly, I embellished the card with clear sequins.

Penny Black First Snow: Wintry Whites

I guess it's no secret that I love floral stamps and this one from the new release by Penny Black is no exception. It's called Wintry Whites and it's so delicate and beautiful! I stamped it onto kraft cardstock and coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils. I then softly inked the edges of the panel with white ink. To create the frame, I die cut white cardstock with Stitched Stackers die and adhered the stamped panel onto it before attaching it to the card base. I heat embossed the sentiment from the same Wintry Whites set onto a strip of dark brown cardstock and attached it in place. Lastly, I embellished the card with white sticky back pearls.

I think this is such a cute stamp, two friends enjoying a hot drink together! It's a new stamp by Penny Black and it's called Cuppa. I coloured the image with my Copics and framed it with Snowflake Frame. The sentiment is from the new set Winter Chill, I heat embossed part of it onto a strip of dark brown cardstock and stamped the rest onto the frame. Lastly, I die cut some hearts with Penny Black's Hearts Galore die and adhered them onto the card.

Penny Black First Snow: Starlight

A pink Christmas card? Well, why not! Pink is my colour of the day with this Christmas card I made with new stamps from the new Penny Black release called First Snow. The stamp I used is called Starlight. I stamped it with black Memento ink avoiding the stars, coloured it with my Copics, and stamped it again, this time I inked only the stars with Versamark ink and heat embossed them in white. I also sponged some pink Distress Oxide ink on it so that the white stars would pop more. The frame I used is die cut with Snowflake Frame die, you get this small frame if you do not separate the two dies from each other. For the background, I used some patterned paper from Holiday Trimming paper pad and also embellished the card with a die cut (Burlap Edge). The sentiment comes from another stamp set called Sweet Sledder.

I made this card using a new stamp from the new Penny Black release First Snow. The stamp is called Heap of Happy. I coloured the image with my Copic markers and fussy cut it out. I then die cut a circle frame using the Stitched Circles die set by Penny Black. For the background, I used some patterned paper from the paper pad Wintertime. After I had attached all the elements on my card base, I stamped my sentiment from the new sentiment set Winter Chill and added some red sequins to embellish the card.

The sentiment comes from the new sentiment set Winter Chill. For the background, I used patterned papers from Wintertime paper pad. I embellished the card with a snowflake die cut with Polar Pair die and added a sticky back pearl to it.

Tämä suloinen tyttö pienen ystävänsä kanssa on uusi Penny Blackin leima Bundled Buddies. Väritin sen Copiceilla ja stanssasin paneelin irti Stitched Nested Frames -stanssilla. Tekstileima on uudesta setistä Winter Chill ja taustan paperit Wintertime-paperikosta. Koristeeksi laitoin lumihiutaleen, jonka stanssasin Polar Pair -setin stanssilla ja koristelin helmellä. Christmas Wreath - Joulukranssi

I made a quick little Christmas card with Natural Beauties set by Paper Smooches. I know it's not really a Christmas stamp set but I thought this little wreath with added pinecones and berries would make a lovely Christmas wreath. I coloured the images with my Copics and die cut them out. I also die cut the frame with Paper Smooches' Fused Frame die. The sentiment is by Penny Black, this one was dainty enough to fit inside the frame. I matted the white linen textured panel onto some dark brown cardstock and attached everything in place before embellishing the card with some clear sequins.

Tein joulukortin Paper Smoochesin Natural Beauties -setin leimoilla. Väritin leimakuvat Copiceilla ja stanssasin irti. Kehyksen stanssasin Paper Smoochesin Fused Frame -stanssilla, tekstileima taas on Penny Blackia. Kerrostin valkoisen paneelin tummanruskealle kartongille, kiinnitin kaikki paikalleen ja koristelin lopuksi vielä paljeteilla.

Penny Black First Snow: Festive Frolic

I love penguins and I think these ones from Penny Black are so sweet! They're from the stamp set Festive Frolic, I coloured them with my Copics and die cut them out with the matching dies. The snow globe is from the set Cozy Nigts, I coloured it with my Copics as well and die cut it out with its matching die. The sentiment is from Wintry Whites set and it fits perfectly to the little plaque on the snow globe. To decorate the inside of the globe, I die cut some frosty grass with Garden Edgers die and added snowflakes, one is stamped with a stamp from Festive Frolic set and two are debossed with a die that comes with the Snowflake Frame die. I also added a rhinestone to each of the snowflake and tied a bit of baker's twine into a bow to decorate the snow globe. For the background, I used some patterned paper from the paper pad Wintertime and matted it onto some kraft cardstock before attaching it to my card base.

Nämä Penny Blackin pingviinit ovat vain niin suloisia! Ne ovat Festive Frolic -setistä, väritin ne Copiceilla ja stanssasin ne irti. Pyrypallo on Cozy Nights -setistä, sekin Copiceilla väritetty ja irti stanssattu. Tekstileima on Wintry Whites -setistä, se sattui mahtumaan täydellisesti tuohon pieneen laattaan. Pyrypallon sisäosan koristelin huurteisella ruoholla (Garden Edgers -stanssilla stanssattu) ja lumihiutaleilla (leima on Festive Frolic -setistä ja stanssi on Snowflake Frame -setistä). Pienet timantit lumihiutaleisiin ja nyöriä pyrypallon ympärille. Taustalla on kuviopaperia Wintertime-paperikosta. Penny Black First Snow: Festive Frolic

I think this cuddly polar bear is just the cutest ever! It's from the new Penny Black stamp set called Festive Frolic. I stamped it onto X-Press It blending card, coloured it with Copic markers and die cut it with the matching die Festive Frolic Cut Out. For the background I used the Snowflake Frame die (which I love!!), I die cut it once out of cream cardstock and then the second time out of green cardstock so that I could get that little "frame in a frame" in green. I also used some patterned paper from the paper pad Wintertime. The sentiment I used is from the set Thrill of Hope, I heat embossed it onto a strip of vellum.

Penny Black First Snow: Joy

Oh joy! Penny Black has released new Christmas/winter themed stamps and dies and they are beautiful! I couldn't wait to use the new Festive Frolic stamp set and created a Christmas card with this sweet little kitty. I coloured him with my Copic markers and die cut him out with the matching die. I also added a bit of Nuvo glitter gloss pen to the white parts of the kitty's hat but unfortunately it doesn't really show in the photos.. I then die cut the word 'joy' out of red cardstock with Jumbo Joy die and decided to replace the O with the kitty. I ended up die cutting the letters and the kitty out of light grey cardstock a couple of times and stacking them on top of each other so that they became a bit bulkier and stand out from the background a bit more. The white frame that I used in the background is die cut with Snowflake Frame die (you get that little die cut frame if you do not separate the dies from each other but use them while they're still attached to each other). Lastly, I embellished the card with some clear sequins.

Penny Blackiltä on tullut uusia jouluisia/talvisia leimoja ja stansseja ja tässä ensimmäinen korttini niillä. Kisulainen on setistä Festive Frolic, väritin sen Copiceilla ja stanssasin irti. Lisäsin vähän glitter-kynää hatun valkoisiin osiin, mutta se ei oikein kuvissa näy.. Sanan 'joy' stanssasin Jumbo Joy -stanssilla ja päätin korvata o:n kisuliinilla. Stanssasin sekä kirjaimet että kissan useampaan otteeseen harmaasta kartongista ja liimasin ne päällekkäin, näin niistä tuli paksumpia ja vähän paremmin erottuvia. Taustan kehyksen stanssasin Snowflake Frame -stanssilla, tuo kehys tulee "kaupan päälle", kun setin stansseja ei irrota toisistaan. Lopuksi koristelin kortin muutamalla kirkkaalla paljetilla.
