Birthday Cat - Synttärikissa

I made a birthday card with this cute kitty playing with his toy. The stamps are from the stamp set called Set of Kitties by Stamping Bella, I coloured the images with my Copics. I added some patterned papers and enamel dots to embellish the card but tried to keep it clean and simple. The sentiment says 'Happy birthday'.

AAA Birthday #14: June - Kesäkuu

It's June 1st and a new challenge is starting at AAA Birthday. Our theme for June is 'Use Vellum' and we have a fab Guest Designer, Izzy Scrap. 

I just cannot get enough of these sweet bundle girls by Stamping Bella! For this card I used Bundle Girl with a Foxglove, I coloured her with my Copics and die cut her with the matching die. For the background, I chose a piece of pretty patterned paper and to create a slightly calmer background for the girl, I die cut a circle frame with an MFT die and attached some vellum behind it. I then attached everything in place, added my birthday sentiment and embellished the card with some sequins.

Kesäkuu alkaa ja samoin alkaa uusi haaste AAA Birthdayssä. Teemana tässä kuussa on 'Use Vellum' eli vellumia pitäisi synttärikortissa käyttää tavalla tai toisella. Guest Designerina meillä on Izzy Scrap.

Nämä Stamping Bellan bundle girlit ovat niin suloisia, käytin tähän Bundle Girl with a Foxglove -leimaa. Väritin leimakuvan Copiceilla ja stanssasin irti. Taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia, MFT:n stanssilla stanssatun ympyräkehyksen ja sen taakse hieman vellumia. Sitten kiinnitin kaiken paikoilleen, lisäsin tekstit ja muutaman paljetin.

Spring flowers - Kevään kukkia

I made a card with this sweet Bundle Girl stamp, it's called Bundle Girl with a Wood Anemone by Stamping Bella. I coloured the image with my Copics, sponged a bit of blue ink in the background and stamped the sentiment (it says 'This is your day'). I die cut the panel with an MFT die, matted it onto some cardstock and placed some patterned paper in the background. I die cut the pink 'belt' with a Penny Black die called Burlap Edge. Lastly, I embellished the card with clear sequins.

Tämä suloinen leima on Stamping Bellan Bundle Girl with a Wood Anemone, väritin sen Copiceilla ja mustetin taustalle hieman sinistä. Tekstin leimaamisen jälkeen stanssasin paneelin irti ja kerrostin kartongille. Taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia ja vyötteen, jonka stanssasin Penny Blackin Burlap Edge -stanssilla. Koristeluun jokunen kirkas paljetti.

AAA Birthday #13: May - Toukokuu

We have a new challenge starting at AAA Birthday and our theme for May is 'Things with Wings'. Our Guest Designer is the fabulously talented Enna. 

My 'thing with wings' is Blanche from Stamping Bella. I've coloured her with my Copics, added a bit of sparkle to her wings and white gel pens here and there before die cutting her with the matching die. For the background, I used some patterned paper and the beautiful leaf border die cut with Layered Leaves die by Penny Black. The sentiment says 'Congratulating you'.

Rose - Ruusu

I think this little bundle girl is just the sweetest ever - and I also love the rose she's carrying! I coloured this Bundle Girl with a Rose by Stamping Bella with my Copics, die cut it with the matching die and added some accents with a white gel pen. I used a piece of patterned paper in the background, a frame die cut with an MFT die and those cute little tags die cut with a Create a Smile die. The sentiment says 'Congratulations'.

Heart trail - Sydämiä poluksi asti

I treated myself to some new stamps and here's the first card I made with one of them. The stamp I used is the sweet Bundle Girl with Heart Trail and I coloured the image with my Copics. I then die cut the panel with Penny Black's Curved Stitch die and stamped my sentiment on it (it says 'A hug for you'). I added a bit of patterned paper behind the panel and embellished the card by adding a tiny tag with a heart to the twine before tying it into a bow.

Paneelin stanssasin Penny Blackin Stitched Curve -stanssilla, lisäsin taustalle kuviopaperia ja koristelin kortin nyörillä, johon pujotin pienen tägin. Tekstileiman leimasin paneeliin. 

On your birthday - Syntymäpäivänäsi

I made a birthday card today with a stamp by Stamping Bella called Mason Jar of Flowers. I coloured the image with my Copics and die cut it out. For the background, I die cut the white panel with a Penny Black die called Diamond Cut and adhered it in place. I heat embossed my sentiment (it says 'On your birthday') on a strip of cardstock and adhered that in place. Lastly, I adhered the stamped image in place with foam adhesives. I embellished the card with some enamel dots.

A little encouragement card I made with the beautiful floral stamps by Stamping Bella. The flowers are from the sets Straight Up Floral and Daisy Floral and I coloured the images with my Copic markers before die cutting them with the matching dies. I die cut the frame with Leaf Stitched Frames dies by Penny Black, added a bit of patterned paper in the background and stamped the sentiment from the Penny Black set Blooming Sentiments.

Hugs - Haleja

I'm going to send some paper hugs to a friend with this card :) The image I used is Squishy Cats by Stamping Bella, I coloured it with my Copics and used the matching die to die cut it. 'Hugs' is a word die by Winnie & Walter and the frame is die cut with simple rectangle dies. To finish the card, I rounded the bottom corners.

Believe in tomorrows - Uskoa huomiseen

I felt the need to just sit down, colour and make a card today to clear my mind, and this is what I made. I used the sweet Curvy Girl Gardener by Stamping Bella, coloured her with my Copics and die cut her out. For the background, I used some patterned papers and coloured cardstock and die cut the cardstock and cream coloured patterned paper with a Simon Says Stamp die to create the curvy edge. The sentiment I used comes with the Gardener stamp. To embellish the card, I used some simple twine tied into a bow.

Spring green - Keväisen vihreää

My dear friend and crafty pal Nonni and I decided to challenge ourselves to make a card with the same stamped image. We chose Violet by Stamping Bella as our image and both did our cards without showing each other what we made but today is the "reveal day" :D I coloured my image with Copic markers and tried my hand in colouring folds which turned out quite well to my surprise! I also used a bit of patterned paper and a stamped and die cut sentiment (it says 'Congrats'). I embellished the card with some enamel dots and a "branch" I die cut with a Penny Black die.

Ihana Nonni ja minä haastoimme toisemme tekemään kortin samalla leimakuvalla, joksi valikoitui tämä Stamping Bellan Violet. Väritin omani Copiceilla, käytin hieman kuviopaperia ja leimattua sekä stanssattua tekstiä. Koristelin kortin enamel dotseilla ja pienellä "oksalla", jonka stanssasin Penny Blackin stanssilla (leikkasin vain stanssatun kuvion kahtia).

The Flower Challenge #41: Reminder - Muistutus

I'm back with another card for our current challenge at The Flower Challenge. The theme for February is 'Add Leaves' and we have as our Guest Designer the fabulous Galina Filippenko.

For my card, I used a floral stamp from the Straight Up Floral set by Stamping Bella and I added my leaves using the leaf stamp from the same set. I did my colouring with Copic Markers. For the background, I used a piece of patterned paper and a frame die cut with Stitches of Love frame dies by Penny Black. I stamped my sentiment (it says 'This is your day') on a strip of vellum and added some black Nuvo drops to embellish the card.

AAA Birthday: February - Helmikuu

A new month and a new challenge at AAA Birthday! The theme for February is 'Cute' so anything cute in the form of a birthday card is welcome. We have an amazing Guest Designer joining us this month, please visit Rachelle and leave her some love!

For my card, I decided to use this cute image by Stamping Bella called Blossom Loves Balloons. I coloured her with my Copics, die cut the panel with a Penny Black die (Stitches of Love) and before removing the die, I sponged some Distress Oxide ink to the edges of the image to leave a white frame around it. I then stamped my birthday sentiment and added some grass and tiny flowers die cut with Penny Black dies (Garden Edgers and Hanging Planters). Before attaching the panel to the card base, I added some pretty patterned paper by Lili of the Valley to it.

Congrats! Congrats! - Onnea! Onnea!

I made a little birthday card with this cute Stamping Bella image from the Daisy Floral set. The colouring was done with Copics and there are tiny white Gelly Roll dots on her top and some clear Nuvo shimmer on her wings. I wanted to keep the card simple so I just added some pretty patterned paper die cut with a Penny Black die, a circle frame die cut with an MFT die and sentiment strip along with a couple of enamel dots. I stamped my sentiment twice on the strip, it says 'Congrats! Congrats!' in Finnish.

Simple - Yksinkertainen

A quick little CAS card I made with a floral stamp from the Daisy Floral set by Stamping Bella. I coloured the image with my Copics and die cut it out with its matching die. I then die cut a panel with Penny Black's Stitched Nested Frames die, masked a rectangle on it and sponged some grey ink on the panel. Then I adhered the flower in place and stamped my sentiment ('Congratulations' in Finnish) before adhering the panel onto my cardbase.

AAA Birthday: January - Tammikuu

The first challenge of the new year and the new decade is starting at AAA Birthday and we have a fun one for you - a shaker card! As our Guest Designer, we have Vita Thai. I encourage you to check out her Instagram account and leave her some crafty love!

Instead of playing with foam adhesives, I decided to make a sort of a faux shaker card again. So I took a small cellophane bag, cut a piece of patterned paper that fitted inside it, and added my sequins in there. I really like it this way as the sequins won't fall to the bottom of the shaker part but instead 'float' around the cellophane bag. The stamped image I used is Curvy Girl Gardener by Stamping Bella, I love it and bought it for myself as a birthday treat :) I coloured it with my Copic markers and used the matching die to die cut it. For the background, I used patterned paper in pretty rainbow colours. The sentiment I used says 'Congrats' in Finnish, I stamped it onto a banner die cut with an MFT die.

On vuosikymmenen ensimmäisen haasteen aika AAA Birthdayssä ja teemana on shaker-kortit. Guest Designerina meillä on Vita Thai.

Sen sijaan, että olisin tehnyt perinteisen shakerin, päätin huijata hieman. Otin pienen sellofaanipussin, leikkasin sinne sisälle palan kuviopaperia ja lisäsin paljetit sinne. Tällä tavoin paljetit pysyvät "leijumassa" eivätkä putoa shaker-osion pohjalle. Raamit sille stanssasin Hero Artsin stansseilla. Leimakuvana käytin Stamping Bellan Curvy Girl Gardener -leimaa, jonka väritin Copiceilla. Taustalle hieman sateenkaaripaperia ja tekstileima MFT:n stanssilla stanssattuun banneriin ja kortti oli valmis.

Lilac - Syreeni

I just love colouring this little cutie! She's Tiny Townie Garden Girl Lilac by Stamping Bella and I coloured her with my Copics. For the background, I used a bit of patterned paper matted onto cardstock and a half of a doily (haven't used those in ages!). I stamped the sentiment ('For the Birthday Girl'), added a bit of twine in a bow and some sticky back pearls to embellish the card.

Wreath for Christmas - Kranssi jouluksi

Once again I decided to make a Christmas card with a non-Christmas stamp, simply because I wanted to colour this image :) Also I think she looks quite festive and her wreath looks like it could be a gift so I think she fits well for the job. The image is Curvy Girl with a Heart Wreath by Stamping Bella and I coloured the image with my Copic markers. I also added a bit of Stickles glitter glue to the yellow flowers in the wreath. I die cut the glittery gold frame with an MFT die and the word die is by Penny Black, as is the heat embossed part of the sentiment. I added a bit of vellum behind the frame. For the background, I chose patterned paper with some festive ligths. Lastly, I embellished the card with some enamel dots.

Tein taas joulukortin ei-jouluisella leimalla. Tämä on Stamping Bellan Curvy Girl with a Heart Wreath, väritin sen Copiceilla ja lisäsin Sticklesiä keltaisiin kukkiin. Kehyksen stanssasin MFT:n stanssilla, sanan Penny Blackin stanssilla ja loput tekstistä embossasin kullalla (leima Penny Blackin). Kehyksen taakse vähän vellumia ja kuviopaperiin kiinni. Lopuksi muutama enamel dots koristeeksi.

Besties - Parhaat ystikset

I'm taking a break from Christmas cards and decided to make a card with one of my new Stamping Bella stamps. This one is called Besties. I coloured the image with my Copics and added a bit of sparkle to the pink dress with my Gelly Roll pen in gold. The sentiment is a mixture of two brands: the stamped sentiment is by WPlus9 and the die cut sentiment is by Winnie & Walter. I matted the panel onto kraft cardstock and added a bit of patterned paper by Lili of the Valley behind it. To finish the card, I embellished it with sequins.

Congratulating you - Sinua onnitellen

Decided to make a birthday card with one of my new Stamping Bella stamps, this one is from the set Straight Up Floral. I coloured the image with my Copic markers and cut the panel before stamping my sentiment (it says 'Congratulating you' in Finnish). I matted the panel onto black cardstock and did the same for the piece of patterned paper in the background. After I had attached everything in place, I added some clear sequins to embellish the card.
