Lilac - Syreeni

I just love colouring this little cutie! She's Tiny Townie Garden Girl Lilac by Stamping Bella and I coloured her with my Copics. For the background, I used a bit of patterned paper matted onto cardstock and a half of a doily (haven't used those in ages!). I stamped the sentiment ('For the Birthday Girl'), added a bit of twine in a bow and some sticky back pearls to embellish the card.

Wreath for Christmas - Kranssi jouluksi

Once again I decided to make a Christmas card with a non-Christmas stamp, simply because I wanted to colour this image :) Also I think she looks quite festive and her wreath looks like it could be a gift so I think she fits well for the job. The image is Curvy Girl with a Heart Wreath by Stamping Bella and I coloured the image with my Copic markers. I also added a bit of Stickles glitter glue to the yellow flowers in the wreath. I die cut the glittery gold frame with an MFT die and the word die is by Penny Black, as is the heat embossed part of the sentiment. I added a bit of vellum behind the frame. For the background, I chose patterned paper with some festive ligths. Lastly, I embellished the card with some enamel dots.

Tein taas joulukortin ei-jouluisella leimalla. Tämä on Stamping Bellan Curvy Girl with a Heart Wreath, väritin sen Copiceilla ja lisäsin Sticklesiä keltaisiin kukkiin. Kehyksen stanssasin MFT:n stanssilla, sanan Penny Blackin stanssilla ja loput tekstistä embossasin kullalla (leima Penny Blackin). Kehyksen taakse vähän vellumia ja kuviopaperiin kiinni. Lopuksi muutama enamel dots koristeeksi.

Besties - Parhaat ystikset

I'm taking a break from Christmas cards and decided to make a card with one of my new Stamping Bella stamps. This one is called Besties. I coloured the image with my Copics and added a bit of sparkle to the pink dress with my Gelly Roll pen in gold. The sentiment is a mixture of two brands: the stamped sentiment is by WPlus9 and the die cut sentiment is by Winnie & Walter. I matted the panel onto kraft cardstock and added a bit of patterned paper by Lili of the Valley behind it. To finish the card, I embellished it with sequins.

Congratulating you - Sinua onnitellen

Decided to make a birthday card with one of my new Stamping Bella stamps, this one is from the set Straight Up Floral. I coloured the image with my Copic markers and cut the panel before stamping my sentiment (it says 'Congratulating you' in Finnish). I matted the panel onto black cardstock and did the same for the piece of patterned paper in the background. After I had attached everything in place, I added some clear sequins to embellish the card.

Tein synttärikortin uudella Stamping Bella -leimallani, tämä on setistä Straight Up Floral. Väritin sen Copiceilla ja leimasin tekstileiman. Paneelin kerrostin mustalle kartongille, samoin tein taustan kuviopaperille. Sitten vain kiinnitin kaiken paikalleen ja koristelin paljeteilla.

Floral therapy - Kukkaterapiaa

It's so grey and dreary outside that I needed to make a floral card to cheer myself up. The stamp I used is Floral Forest Backdrop by Stamping Bella and I coloured the image with my Copic markers. I heat embossed the sentiment ('For you' in Finnish) on a strip of dark brown cardstock which I embellished with a simple bow. I matted the panel first onto dark brown cardstock and then onto pink and added some clear sequins as embellishments.

Ulkona on niin ankeaa ja harmaata, että päätin piristää itseäni tekemällä kukkakortin. Käytin tähän Stamping Bellan Floral Forest Backdrop -leimaa, väritin leimakuvan Copiceilla. Tekstin embossasin ja koristelin tekstipalkin pienellä rusetilla. Sitten vain kerrostin paneelin kartongeille ja lisäsin muutaman kirkkaan paljetin. 

Cats - Kissat

Let's face it - colouring animals is definitely not my forté! LOL! But I do love this stamp by Stamping Bella :) It's called Squishy Cats and I coloured it with my Copics and fussy cut the part beneath the cats off. I replaced it with some patterned paper and added a die cut sentiment by Winnie and Walter. I embellished the card with some enamel dots.

I did a bit of crafty shopping earlier this summer and now had a play with some of my new stuff :) I love this bouquet of flowers, it's a stamp called Tumble Blossom #9 by Stamping Bella. I coloured it with my Lukas watercolours and die cut the panel with Leaf Stitched Frames die by Penny Black. I left the die in place and sponged some Distress Oxide ink onto the panel so that the die left a white frame around the panel. I adhered the panel onto kraft coloured card base and added the die cut sentiment (Painted Friend by Simon Says Stamp), I die cut it out of dark brown cardstock although it looks pretty black in the photo.

Tein kortin uusilla ostoksillani :) Leima on ihana Stamping Bellan Tumble Blossom #9, väritin sen vesiväreillä. Paneelin stanssasin Penny Blackin Leaf Stitched Frames -stanssilla, jonka jätin paikoilleen ja mustetin paneelia Distress Oxide -musteella niin, että stanssi jätti valkoisen reunan paneeliin. Paneelin kiinnitin korttipohjaan ja lopuksi lisäsin stanssatun tekstin (Simon Says Stampin Painted Friend).

Lilac - Syreeni

I love this sweet little girl! I think she looks so lovely in her floral dress and headpiece :) She is Garden Girl Lilac by Stamping Bella and I coloured her earlier in the summer during the Daily Marker 30 day Colouring Challenge. To make a card with her, I die cut her with the matching die and then die cut the frame using Stitched Stackers dies by Penny Black. I stamped my sentiment ('Congratulations') onto a piece of vellum and adhered it behind the frame. For the background I used a piece of patterned paper and I embellished the card with a single heart die cut with a Lawn Fawn die.

Chrysanthemum - Krysanteemi

I love the Garden Girl stamps by Stamping Bella and this sweetie, Chrysanthemum, is no exception! I coloured her with my Copics and die cut her out. For the background, I cut a panel that is slightly smaller than the card base and did a bit of masking and ink blending with Distress Oxide ink. I then die cut a window to the panel (the window goes outside the panel so it's not a full circle) with Stitched Circles die by Penny Black. Before adhering everything to place (I adhered the stamped image with foam adhesives) and embellishing the card with clear sequins, I stamped my sentiment (it says 'Happy Birthday').

Sitten vain tekstileima, kaikki kiinni paikalleen (leimakuva kohotarroilla) ja muutama paljetti koristeeksi.

It's a brand new month and a brand new challenge over at AAA Birthday! This month we're asking you to make birthday cards for the girls. We also have a Guest Designer, the fabulously talented Michelle Lupton, taking part this month. Please be sure to check out her beautiful card!

For my DT card, I used Tiny Townie Garden Girl Lilac by Stamping Bella. She's so dainty and pretty, perfect for a girl! I stamped her onto X-Press It blending card and coloured her with my Copics. I die cut the panel using Stitched Stackers die by Penny Black. I stamped my sentiment (it says 'Birthday Wishes' in Finnish) onto a strip of vellum and embellished it with a tiny tag and a bow of string. I used a piece of patterned paper for the background.

Graduation card - Ylioppilaalle

I have a made to order card to share. I was asked to make a graduation card for a young lady graduating from Finnish sixth form college using this exact stamp and lots of rose pink. So here it is! The stamp is Curvy Girl with a Heart Wreath by Stamping Bella, I coloured it with my Copics and die cut it out. The frame is die cut using Stitched Stackers dies by Penny Black. For the background, I used patterned papers by Lili of the Valley. I stamped my sentiment on a strip of vellum using Concord&9th alphabet stamps (it says 'Congrats Siiri!' in Finnish) and placed it behind the frame. After adhering everything together, I embellished the card with a few clear sequins. Now I just hope Siiri will like her card :)

I had so much fun colouring my new stamp, Curvy Girl with a Heart Wreath by Stamping Bella. I just love the wreath she is carrying! I stamped her onto a panel of X-Press It blending card with Gina K ink and coloured her with my Copics. I die cut the panel using a Penny Black die from the set Stitched Nested Frames and matted it onto dark red cardstock and then onto light blue cardbase. I stamped my sentiment ('Congratulating you' in Finnish) with the same Gina K ink that I used stamping the image. I wanted the image to stand out so I did not add any embellishments to my card.

For the background I used a bit of patterned paper.

Tein yhden ystävänpäiväkortin Stamping Bellan leimalla. Tämä ihana neitokainen on Altogether Evelyn, jonka väritin Copiceilla ja leikkasin irti. Tekstileima on Paper Smoochesin MFT:n stanssilla stanssattuun banneriin leimattuna. Taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia ja Altenew'n stanssilla stanssatun kehyksen.

I made this friendship card with a Stamping Bella stamp. This lovely young lady is called Altogether Evelyn and I coloured her with my Copic Markers and fussy cut her out. The sentiment is a stamp by Paper Smooches, I stamped it onto a banner that I die cut with an MFT die. In the background I placed some patterned paper and a frame that I die cut with an Altenew die.

Purkillinen sydämiä - Mason jar of hearts

Jokusen haasteen innoittamana syntyi tämä kortti. Leimakuva on Stamping Bellan Mason Jar of Hearts, jonka väritin Altenew'n vesiväreillä ja leikkasin irti. Taustalle Lili of the Valleyn kuviopaperia ja MFT:n stanssilla stanssattu boordi. Lisäksi paljetteja.

I was inspired by a few challenges and made this Valentine's card. The stamped image is 'Mason Jar of Hearts' by Stamping Bella. I coloured it with my Altenew watercolours and fussy cut it out. For the background I used some patterned papers by Lili of the Valley die cut with MFT's stitched edge die and a border (die cut with an MFT die as well). Added some sequins to finish the card.

Synttärityttö - Birthday girl

Ihanalla ystävällä oli synttärit tässä hetki sitten ja tällainen kortti lähti hänelle. Typynen kortissa on Stamping Bellan Altogetherevelyn, jonka väritin Zigeillä. Tekstin leimailin Concord&9th:n aakkosleimoilla ja koko paneelin stanssasin Penny Blackin stansseilla. Muutama roiske perään ja Martha Stewartin leikkurilla leikattu perhonen koristeeksi ja korttipohjaan kiinni.

A sweet friend of mine had her birthday last week and I made her this birthday card. The stamped image is 'Altogetherevelyn' by Stamping Bella, and I coloured her with my Zig Markers. I stamped the sentiment (it says 'Congrats' in Finnish) with the 'Bold and Brushy Lowercase' alphabet stamps by Concord&9th and die cut the panel with Penny Black's 'Stitched Stackers' die. I added a few splatters with my watercolour brush (I used both Distress Stain and Sheer Shimmer Spritz for the splatters) and added a little butterfly to embellish the card before adhering the panel to the card base.

Purkillinen sydämiä - Mason jar of hearts

Purkkilinja jatkuu, tällä kertaa sydämillä. Tämäkin leimakuva on Stamping Bellan ja nimeltään Mason Jar of Hearts. Väritin sen Zigeillä, stanssasin irti ja mustetin reunat Distress Oxidella. Kehystin leimakuvan My Favorite Thingsin stanssilla stanssatulla kehyksellä, johon kiinnitin leimakuvan kohotarroilla. Taustalle hieman pilkkupaperia ja leimakuva kehyksineen siihen kiinni.

I made a card with another mason jar and this time it's filled with hearts. This is 'Mason Jar of Hearts' by Stamping Bella, I coloured the image with my Zig markers, die cut it out and sponged some Distress Oxide ink to the edges. I then die cut the frame with a My Favorite Things die and adhered the image to it with some foam adhesives. I added some dotted paper to the background and adhered the image with its frame to it.

Vieraana Flower Challengessä - Guesting at The Flower Challenge

Elokuussa minulla on kunnia olla vieraana The Flower Challengesissä, jossa kuukauden haasteena on 'One Layer Card'. Ei siis kerroksia tai liimattavia koristeita, vain "yhden tason kortti", jossa pääosassa on kukkaleima. Omaan korttiini tein ensin tuon boordin maskaamalla ja Distress Oxidea levittämällä. Siihen päälle lisäsin vielä sydämiä levittämällä pinkkiä Distress Oxidea Create a Smilen sapluunan läpi. Leimakuva on Stamping Bellan Mason Jar of Flowers, jonka väritin Copiceilla. Tekstileima on Simon Says Stampia.

I have the huge honour of being the Guest Designer for the month of August for The Flower Challenge. Thank you so much, Viv and Aileen, for having me! :) The challenge for August is One Layer Card, so no layers, no additional embellishments - just one layer with a floral image. I created my card by first creating the pink border on my card base by masking and sponging on some Distress Oxide ink. I then added the hearts by sponging another pink Distress Oxide ink through a stencil by Create a Smile Stamps. The floral image is a Stamping Bella stamp called 'Mason Jar of Flowers' which I coloured with my Copic markers. The sentiment is by Simon Says Stamp.
