Cat - Kissa

I love this sweet looking kitty cat by Waffle Flower! It's from the set Smiling and I coloured it with my Copics before die cuttting it with the matching die. I used some patterned papers for the background, added my sentiment (it says 'All the Best') and embellished the card with some sequins.

Tämä Waffle Flowerin kissu on sitten maailman söpöin! Se on setistä Smiling, väritin sen Copiceilla ja stanssasin irti. Taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia, Heidin Korttipajan tekstileimalla tekstin ja koristeiksi paljetteja. 

Flowers - Kukkia

I think this floral cluster by Waffle Flower is so beautiful on its own that it doesn't really need much else, so the birthday card I made with it is quite simple. Just the floral image coloured with Copics, a bit of patterned paper and a frame plus a sentiment (it says 'Congratulations') and some clear sequins as embellishments.

Pieniä kukkia - Tiny flowers

Joskus tuntuu, että kortit tekevät itse itsensä. Niin ainakin kävi näiden korttien kanssa :) Minua laiskotti enkä halunnut hurjan paljoa värittää, joten nappasin pienen leimakuvan, tässä tapauksessa tuon Waffle Flowerin kukkakärryn ja väritin sen Zigeillä. Taustalle laitoin palasen kartonkia, jonka mustetin Distress Oxideilla ja roiskin vähän vettä perään. Kartongille tein kehykset stanssaamalla MFT:n stanssilla valkoisesta kartongista piparkakkureunuksen. Taustalle hieman Lawn Fawnin ihanaa ruutupaperia ja siihen tekstileima. Koristeeksi muutama enamel dotsi. Ja koska ensimmäinen kortti oli niin nopea, tein toisen perään :D Toiseen korttiin käytin Paper Smoochesin kukkia mutta muuten menin samalla kaavalla.

Sometimes it feels like cards make themselves. That's what happened with these cards :) I was feeling lazy and didn't want to colour too much but still wanted to make something, so I grabbed this flower cart by Waffle Flower and coloured it with my Zig Markers. For the background, I sponged some blue Distress Oxide ink on a piece of cardstock and added a few splatters of water to it. I made a frame for it by die cutting white cardstock with an MFT die. For the background, I used some gorgeous gingham patterned paper by Lawn Fawn and stamped my sentiment ('Birthday Wishes'). As embellishments, I used some enamel dots. And as the first card was so quick to make, I made a second one while I was at it :D This time I just used the sweet flowers by Paper Smooches but otherwise kept the card similar.

Ystävälle - Dear Friend

Tämän ystävänpäiväkortin tein Nonni-ystävälle ja uskallan sen jo näyttää, kun se saapui jo tänään perille. Leimakuvana tässä on Waffle Flowerin ihana karhu pikkupyörineen setistä Happy Day. Väritys taas Zigeillä, vähän geelikynää poskissa ja Nuvo Dropsia kukkien seassa. Taustan paneelin stanssasin My Favorite Thingsin stanssilla ja mustetin Distress Oxide -musteella, perään roiskin vähän vettä. Stanssattu teksti on Create a Smilen stanssilla stanssattu ja leimattu teksti on WPlus9:n Modern Anemones -setistä. Lisäksi vielä muutama stanssattu sydän (Lawn Fawn) ja korttipohjaan kiinni.

I made this friendship card for my dear friend Nonni, I heard it arrived today so I can show it here. The stamped and die cut image is from the 'Happy Day' set by Waffle Flower (I love it how serene he looks riding his little bike! :) ), I coloured it with my Zig Markers and added a dot of gel pen to his cheeks and tiny drops of Nuvo Drops among the flowers. The pink panel is die cut with a My Favorite Things die and then inked with Distress Oxide. I splashed a few drops of water to it. I added my sentiment, the die cut word is by Create a Smile and the stamped one is from the 'Modern Anemones' set by WPlus9. I also added some die cut hearts (Lawn Fawn) to the card.
