Magnoliaa - Magnolias

CAS-linjalla jatketaan :) Tein tämän Altenew'n maaliskuun haasteen innoittamana, otin siitä nuo värit (vaikka käytin niitä hieman haaleampina versioina) ja niiden järjestyksen ja koska kuvassa näytti olevan bileet menossa, niin synttärikorttihan tästä tuli. Leimasin ja maskasin vesivärikartongille Altenew'n Magnolias for Her -setin magnoliaa ja väritin ne Gansai Tambeilla ja lisäilin vähän vesiväriroiskeitakin. Teksti FinnStamperin leimalla ja sitten vain kerrostus kartongille ja korttipohjaan.

I'm going quite CAS again with this one I made for a couple of challenges. I was inspired by the Altenew March Inspiration Challenge and I took the colours and their order from the picture and as there seemed to be a celebration going on in the picture, I made this into a birthday card. I stamped and masked some magnolias into a row from the 'Magnolias for Her' set and coloured them with my Gansai Tambi watercolours. I also added a bit of shading around the flowers and some tiny splatters too. The sentiment say 'Many Congrats' in Finnish. I matted the panel onto some dark brown cardstock and then onto a cardbase.

Synttäritoivotuksin - Sending birthday wishes

Tein blogiystävälleni Patricialle synttärikortin näillä ihanilla Winnie and Walter -leimoilla. Maskasin ja leimasin kukkaryppääseen kukkia ja lehtiä Addie's Garden ja Anna's Flora -seteistä, tekstileima on Papertrey Inkiä. Väritys taas Gansai Tambeilla. Stanssasin paneelin irti Hero Artsin Infinity-sarjan stanssilla ja kiinnitin korttipohjaan.

My lovely and talented bloggy friend Patricia has her birthday in March and I made her this card. I used these gorgeous flowers and leaves from two Winnie and Walter sets, 'Addie's Garden' and 'Anna's Flora' (and may I add that I simply love these sets, the flowers are so pretty and perfect for watercolouring!). The sentiment stamp comes from Papertrey Ink. I coloured my flower arrangement with my Gansai Tambi watercolours, die cut the panel with the 'Infinity' rectangle die by Hero Arts and attached to card base.

Kukkaryöppy - Flower cascade

Teenköhän koskaan muita kuin synttärikortteja...? No, taas olisi synttärikorttia tarjolla näytille :D Tämä on (taas) melko simppeli, leimasin tuon Penny Blackin Flower Cascade -leiman vesiväripaperille, väritin Gansai Tambi -vesiväreillä ja leimasin tekstin Dekoretten leimalla. Sitten vain kartongille kerrostus ja korttipohjaan kiinni. Eipä siinä muuta.

I'm starting to wonder if I ever make any other cards except birthday cards... However it may be, I've got yet another birthday card to show you :D This is again quite simple, I just stamped 'Flower Cascade' stamp by Penny Black onto some watercolour cardstock, coloured it with my Gansai Tambi watercolours and then stamped the sentiment ('Happy Birthday' in Finnish). Then I matted it onto some cardstock before attaching to cardbase. And that's it.

Kuumailmapallollinen onnea - Hot air balloon

Lawn Fawnilla on uusi haasteblogi, jota varten tein tämän synttärikortin ja yhdistinpä tähän pari muutakin haastetta :) Minulla on vain muutama Lawn Fawn -setti ja päätin käyttää tähän Blue Skies -setin kuumailmapalloa ja viirinauhaa, jotka stanssasin irti ja väritin Gansai Tambi -vesiväreillä. Viireihin leimasin tekstin Papertrey Inkin aakkosilla. Kehystin kuumailmapallon MFT:n stanssilla stanssatulla kultakehyksellä, johon liitin taustaksi vellumia. Paperi on BoBunnya ja koristeina vielä muutama paljetti.

There's a new Lawn Fawn challenge blog called 'Lawn Fawnatics' and I made this card for it, and luckily was able to combine it with a couple of other challenges as well :) I don't have too many Lawn Fawn sets (yet, I might add... ;) ) so out of the ones I have, I decided to use 'Blue Skies' set. I stamped and die cut the hot air balloon and the banner and coloured the images with my Gansai Tambi watercolours. I then stamped the sentiment ('Congrats' in Finnish) with alphabet stamps by Papertrey Ink - luckily they were small enough to fit in the tiny banners! I die cut the frame with My Favorite Things' die and added some vellum behind it. The patterned paper is by BoBunny and as embellies there are some sequins.

Lehtiä yksinkertaisesti - Foliage in CAS

Yhdistin tämän kortin tekoon pari CAS-haastetta, CAS(E) this Sketchistä tuli luonnos (jonka tein peilikuvana) ja CASologysta aihe. Stanssasin nuo oksat Penny Blackin Dancing Leaves -stanssilla valkoisesta ja kultaisesta kartongista, tekstileiman embossasin kultaisella. Taustalle harmaata kartonkia ja sen päälle vielä vellumia ja kaikkinensa korttipohjaan kiinni.

I combined two challenges to make this card, CAS(E) this Sketch! provided the sketch (which I kind of flipped and did in mirror image ) and CASology provided the theme. I decided not to do much stamping on this one so I simply die cut the branches with 'Dancing Leaves' die by Penny Black out of some white and some gold foil cardstock. I attached them onto a piece of vellum which I then attached to a piece of gray cardstock and then the whole lot onto my card base. The sentiment I heat embossed with gold.

Lehti - Leaf

Päätin koittaa tehdä niin CAS-kortin kuin ikinä pystyisin, ja eipä siihen paljoa tullutkaan... ;D Tein vesivärikartongista korttipohjan, johon leimasin My Favorite Thingsin Geometric Greenery -setin leimalla tuon lehden, jonka sitten väritin Gansai Tambi -vesiväreillä. Tekstileimana käytin osaa FinnStamperin leimasta (kokonaisuudessaan siinä lukee Paljon Onnea, mutta jätin alkuosan pois). Ja siinäpä se, muuta kortissa ei olekaan!

I tried to go as CAS as I could with this card, and I think I managed it pretty well... at least there's no fuss in this card! ;D I folded my card base from a piece of watercolour cardstock and stamped one leaf from the 'Geometric Greenery' set by My Favorite Things which I then watercoloured with my Gansai Tambis. I thought the font on this sentiment would go pretty well together with the leaf so I paired them together (the sentiment says 'Congrats' in Finnish). And that's it, nothing else on this card! I made this card especially for the Less Is More challenge where the theme is 'leaves' - and only now I realise that there is only ONE leaf on my card and the theme word is in plural.... I hope this still qualifies!
