Kukkia - Flowers

Tämäkin oli tilauskortti, tällä kertaa 64 vuotta täyttävälle naiselle. Leimakuvana tässä käytin Penny Blackin ihanaa Scented Messagea, jonka väritin Distress Markereilla ja stanssasin Simonin ommelreunastansseilla. Bannerin stanssasin My Favorite Thingsin stanssilla ja leimasin siihen FinnStamperin tekstin. Taustalla on hieman kultapaperia ja Lili of the Valley'n kuviopaperia. Koristeina muutama minipaljetti ja hieman narua ja pari pientä helmeä.

I was asked to make a birthday card for a lady turning 64 and this is what I came up with. I chose to use 'Scented Message' by Penny Black as my stamped image, and I coloured it with Distress Markers and die cut it with a Simon Says Stamp stitched edge die. I die cut the fishtail banner with a My Favorite Things die and stamped the sentiment on it (it says something like 'Congratulations on your special day' in Finnish). For the background, I used some golden glitter paper and some patterned paper by Lili of the Valley. As embellies, there are some tiny sequins, a bit of twine and a couple of tiny beads on the twine.

Vauvakortteja - New baby cards

Tein vauvakortteja. Neljä kappaletta :D Tuli tehtyä, kun ostin tämän LOTV:n vauvaleimasimen kirpparilta ja se on niin suloinen, että tekisi mieli vain huokailla koko ajan, kun sitä katsoo :) Kaikki kortit tulivat aika lailla samalla kaavalla, Lili of the Valley'n Baby Blanket on siis tuo leimasin, väritykset Distress Inkien täyttöpulloilla, stanssaukset Simonin ommelstansseilla ja paperit taisivat olla Echo Parkia. Koristeina stanssattuja sydämiä, perhosia ja tähtiä, enamel dotseja ja nappeja.

I made a few 'new baby' cards. Well, I made four cards in total :D I just had to, I bought this cute Lili of the Valley stamp second hand and it's so darn cute, I just go 'awww' each time I see it :) The cards themselves are pretty straightforward, the stamp's called 'Baby Blanket' and I coloured the images with Distress Ink refills, and die cut them with a Simon Says Stamp stitched square die. The patterned papers are by Echo Park, and as embellies there are die cut butterflies, hearts and stars, some enamel dots and buttons.

Tein eilisen ystävänpäivän kunniaksi kortit elämäni miehille. Tämä ensimmäinen oli miehelleni, embossasin siihen mustalla Lawn Fawnin auringon ja väritin sen ProMarkereilla (erittäin taidokas ja aikaavievä väritys, kuten näkyy... ;D ). Tekstileima on myös Lawn Fawnia, jätin siitä vain sunshine-sanan pois. Stanssaus on Simon Says Stampin ommelstanssilla ja sitten vain kiinnitys korttipohjaan.

It was Valentine's Day yesterday so I gave cards to the most important men in my life. This first one was for my husband. I heat embossed the sun (from Lawn Fawn's 'Sunny Skies' set) in black and coloured it with ProMarkers. Then I stamped the sentiment, it's from the same Lawn Fawn set and it actually says 'You are my sunshine' but I left the last word out. I did the diecutting with Simon Says Stamp's stitch edged die and adhered the panel to my card base.

Tämä toinen kortti meni esikoiselle. Käytin siihen Tiddly Inksin sankaria, jonka väritin Polychromoksilla ja kiinnitin tarrapaloilla. Taustan tein Tim Holtzin sabluunalla ja Distress Inkeillä. Tekstileimat ovat FinnStamperin ja lisänä vain sydännapit.

This next card was for our eldest son. I used the superhero from a Tiddly Inks stamp set, coloured him with Polychromos pencils and adhered with foam adhesives. I made the background with a Tim Holtz stencil and some Distress Inks. I used two different sentiments in this card, and together, translated loosely, they say 'Have a lovely day friend'. As embellies, I used some heart shaped buttons.

Tämä viimeinen kortti meni kuopukselle. Käytin siihen DoodleFactoryn ampparia, jonka väritin ProMarkereilla ja siipiin lisäsin vähän Wink of Stellaa. Taustalle stanssasin huovasta sydämen Sizzixin stanssilla. Taustapaperi taitaa olla Echo Parkia, lisänä FinnStamperin tekstileima, sydännappi ja muutama Liquid Pearls -tippa.

This last card was for our youngest son. I used the sweet bee from DoodleFactory for this card, I coloured him with ProMarkers and added some clear Wink of Stella for his wings. I die cut the blue heart out of felt with a Sizzix die, added the sentiment (it says 'Hugs' in Finnish), a heart shaped button and some Liquid Pearls dots. The patterned paper is by Echo Park.

Sydämiä ystävälle - Hearts for a friend

Tein jokusen ystävänpäiväkortin ja kuinka ollakaan, niistäkin tuli pyöreitä! :D Ympyrästanssit ovat sekä My Favorite Thingsiä että Lifestyle Craftsiä, taustan sydämet on leimattu Penny Blackin Hearts All Over -leimalla, embossattu valkoisella ja sitten mustetettu Distress Inkeillä. Sydämen stanssasin Sizzixin stanssilla ja leimasin siihen Heron Friend Definition -leimalla ja valkoisella musteella. Tekstileima on FinnStamperia ja leimattu vellumille, lisänä ihuna nappi ja nyöriä.

While in most countries that celebrate Valentine's Day, it is celebrated as a day for love and lovers, in Finland, however, it is known as a day to celebrate friends and friendship. Why am I explaining this to you? Because I made Valentine's Day cards for my friends and I don't want you to get the wrong impression - ha ha! ;D I wanted to make them bright and cheerful, so I used bright and happy colours, and naturally they're round - my favourite card shape of the moment! I stamped the hearts in the background with a Penny Black stamp ('Hearts All Over') and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. Then I sponged the background with Distress Inks. I die cut the heart with a Sizzix die and stamped on it with Hero Arts' 'Friend Definition' background stamp and white Hero Arts ink. The sentiment, stamped on vellum, says 'For a Friend' in Finnish. As embellies, there's a cute button and some May Arts twine.

Joulukortti!? - A Christmas card!?

Ehei, en ole aloittanut joulukorttirumbaa vielä tälle vuodelle (vaikka ajatuksissa se onkin jo pyörinyt..), tämä on viime vuoden joulukortteja ja löytyi blogin luonnoksista, joten ajattelin nyt kuitenkin laittaa sen näkyville. Kortissa ei sinänsä mitään ihmeellistä ole, leimat ja niiden stanssit ovat Clearly Besottedia, väritys on (muistaakseni) Distress Markereita, paperit ovat Lili of the Valley'ä. Leimakuvan taustalla on palanen kohokuvioitua vellumia ja hieman kultalankaa. Tekstileima on FinnStamperin ja kullalla embossattu.

Oh no, I have not started making my Christmas cards for this year yet - this is one of last year's Christmas cards which I never got round to showing you, so I'm doing it now :) It's a fairly simple card, the stamps and dies used are by Clearly Besotted, I coloured the image with Distress Markers. There's a piece of dry embossed vellum behind the flower basket, as well as some golden thread. The patterned papers are by Lili of the Valley, and the sentiment ('Merry Christmas' in Finnish) is heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

Kukkia ja täti - Flowers and a lady

Tilauskorteilla aloitetaan :) Minua pyydettiin tekemään kortti 50 vuotta täyttävälle naiselle ja koska en itse synttärisankaria tunne, tein varmuuden vuoksi kaksi tyyleiltään erilaista korttia. Tilaajan ainoa "vaatimus" kortille oli, että siinä pitää olla tuo '50' näkyvissä. Ensimmäiseen korttiin käytin Stampendousin ihanaa Blossom Spray -leimaa, jonka väritin Distress Markereilla. Iän ja tekstin laitoin ääriviivatarroista ja koristeeksi hieman nauhaa ja muutaman timantin sinne tänne kukkien sekaan. Taustapaperi on Lili of the Valley'ä kerrostettuna harmaalle kartongille. Leimakuvan kiinnitin tarrapaloilla koholleen.

I'll start this year with commission cards as I was asked to make a birthday card for a lady turning 50. I don't personally know the lady in question so I decided to make two cards which would be different from each other in style. The only thing the person buying the card wanted was that the '50' be visible on the card. For the first card I used the gorgeous 'Blossom Spray' stamp by Stampendous which I watercoloured with Distress Markers. The sentiment (says 'Congrats' in Finnish) and the numbers are stickers, and the only embellishments are a few rhinestones scattered among the flowers and the ribbon tied into a bow. The background paper is by Lili of the Valley, which I matted onto grey cardstock.

Toisen kortin tein Art Impressionsin hurmaavalla Dottyllä, jonka niinikään väritin Distress Markereilla ja kiinnitin tarrapaloilla. Numero on tässäkin ääriviivatarra ja tekstileima on embossattu kultaisella. Taustapaperit ovat Pink Paisleetä ja Dovecraftia ja taaskin harmaalle kartongille kerrostettuna.

I made the second card with Art Impressions' 'Dotty' which I coloured with Distress Markers, fussy cut out and attached with foam adhesives. The number is again a sticker but this time I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder. The background papers are by Pink Paislee and Dovecraft, once again matted onto grey carstock.

Erilainen enkeli - A different kind of angel

Vähän erilainen enkeli ja vähän erilainen joulukortti tällä kertaa... :D Tuo Stampotiquen enkeli (Daniel's Tree Topper) on jotenkin niin suloinen, ihanan innokas sydämensä kanssa :) Väritin sen tähän nopsaan Distress Markereilla, laitoin siipiin Distress Sticklesiä (Rock Candy) ja sydämeen tavallista Sticklesiä kultaisena ja kiinnitin pohjaan tarrapaloilla. Pohjan tein akryylimaaleilla, mustalla ja valkoisella gessolla, Tim Holtzin Christmas-sabluunalla ja muutamalla tarrahelmellä. Banneriin leimasin FinnStamperin tekstin.

... but cute nonetheless, right? :D It's 'Daniel's Tree Topper' by Stampotique and I think it's just the cutest :) I stamped him, fussy cut him out and coloured quickly with Distress Markers before adding some Distress Stickles in Rock Candy to his wings and regular Stickles in gold to the little heart. I adhered him with foam adhesives for a little raised effect. I made the background with some acrylic paints, some black and white gesso and added a few black pearls to it. The stencil I used is 'Christmas' by Tim Holtz. The sentiment in the banner says 'Merry Christmas' in Finnish.

Amaryllis - Amaryllis

Kukkaa pukkaa joulukorttiin! Käytin tähän amaryllista Penny Blackin Winter Blossoms -setistä ja väritin sen Distress Markereilla. Stanssasin sen osittaisesti My Favorite Thingsin stanssilla ja tekstileimana käytin osaa FinnStamperin leimasta (kokonaisuudessaan leimassa lukee 'Lämmin joulutervehdys', mutta ajattelin, että se toimii noinkin). Taustalla Teresa Collinsin paperia ja lisänä hieman narua ja pieni kulkunen.

Here are some Christmas flowers for you for a change. This is the amaryllis stamp from the 'Winter Blossoms' set by Penny Black, I coloured it with Distress Markers. I then did some partial die cutting with a My Favorite Things die and stamped the sentiment (it says 'Christmas Greetings' in Finnish). The background paper is from the 'Christmas Cottage' line by Teresa Collins and as the only embellies there's a piece of twine and a tiny little jingle bell.

Lumihiutale - Snowflake

Tein tämän kortin Uniko Studiosin haasteluonnoksen pohjalta. Uniko Studiosin leimoja minulla ei ole, joten käytin tähän uusinta Hero Artsin leimasintani Dotted Snowflake, jonka embossasin hopealla. FinnStamperin tekstileiman leimasin tuohon banneriin ja kiinnitin sen tarrapaloilla. Kerrostin paneelin sitten hopeaiselle glitter-paperille ja kiinnitin korttipohjaan niinikään tarrapaloilla. Ja siinäpä se sitten taas olikin :)

I found a fab sketch over at Uniko Studios' challenge and decided to use it to make a card. Unfortunately, I don't have any Uniko Studios products (yet ;) ) so I decided to use my newest Hero Arts stamp called 'Dotted Snowflake' which I heat embossed in silver. I die cut the banner, stamped the sentiment on it (it says 'Merry Christmas' in Finnish) and attached it with foam adhesives. Then I matted the panel onto some silver glitter paper and attached the whole thing on a card base with foam adhesives.

Simppeli seppele - Wreath

Tämänkertainen luonnos CAS(E) this Sketch! -haasteessa on aika omiaan tälle WPlus9:n Woodland Wreaths -leimasetille, sillä siis mennään. Leimasin valkoiselle tekstuuripintaiselle kartongille seppeleen oksineen ja marjoineen ja alle FinnStamperin tekstileiman. Tekstileima ja marjat on leimattu Encoren kultaisella musteella, seppeleen oksat Distress Inkillä ja havut Heron musteella. Ja siinäpä se, simppelillä linjalla taas :)

The sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch! challenge is perfect for the 'Woodland Wreaths' stamp set by WPlus9, so that's what I used for this card. I stamped the wreath on white textured cardstock using Hero Arts Shadow Ink in green, Distress Ink in brown and Encore metallic ink in gold. The sentimet says 'Merry Christmas' in Finnish. That's my little CAS card, hope you like it! :)

Ruusuja, ruusuja - Roses, roses

Kuten aikaisemmin sanoin, tein tädilleni menneitä kortteja yhteensä kolme (meiltä, mummoltani ja äidiltäni), tässä niistä viimeinen. Ruusut ja nuo "koristeoksat" (mitä lienevätkään) on leimattu ja stanssattu WPlus9:n värkeillä ja Heron musteilla, ruusuihin myös embossasin kullalla (se näyttää vain melko tummalta tuossa kuvassa). Tekstileima on FinnStamperia, banneri on stanssattu My Favorite Thingsin stanssilla. Lisäksi hieman kuviopaperia ja ääriviivanumerot.

As I said earlier, I made three cards for my aunt, (one from us, one for my Grandma to give to her, and one for my Mum to give to her), this is the last one. The roses and the branches are die cut and stamped with WPlus9 stamps and dies and some Hero Arts inks. I also heat embossed parts of the roses with gold powder (it looks a bit dark on the photo though). The sentiment says something like 'Heartfelt congratulations' in Finnish and it's stamped on a banner die cut with a My Favorite Things die. The numbers are peel-off stickers.

Paljon onnea - Congrats

Tätini täyttää 70 vuotta ja suvun kortintekijänä tein hänelle tietenkin useamman kortin :) Tässä niistä yksi. Embossasin Hero Artsin Leaf and Floral Background -taustaleiman valkoisella ja levitin päälle Distress Inkejä. Tekstileima on FinnStamperin ja rosetti on tehty Tim Holtzin stanssilla. Lisänä vähän nyöriä, ääriviivatarranumeroita, kerrostusta ja muuta.

My aunt celebrates her 70th birthday this September and as the 'official cardmaker of the family', I made her several cards :) Here's one of them. I heat embossed the Hero Arts 'Leaf and Floral Background' stamp with white embossing powder and sponged it with several Distress Inks. I made the rosette with a Tim Holtz die and added the numbers (peel-off stickers) on it. The sentiment says 'Congrats' in Finnish.

Lumihiutaleita - Snowflakes

P*skarteluhaasteessa oli jälleen kerran aivan loistava tekniikkahaaste, jota oli pakko kokeilla (kiitos, p*skarteluhaastajat! :) ). Tässä siis ensimmäinen triplaleimauskokeiluni mutta varmasti ei viimeinen. Leimaamiseen käytin Panduron lumihiutaleleimoja ja valkoista mustetta, tekstileima on FinnStamperin ja leimattu taas vellumille. Lumihiutaleen stanssasin Penny Blackin stanssilla ja lisäkoristeeksi laitoin hieman nyöriä ja puolihelmeä.

There's a great challenge over at P*skarteluhaaste challenge blog, it's a technique called Triple Stamping. This is a very fun technique which I'm sure I'll use more of in the future. For my stamping I used a couple of snowflake stamps and some white ink. The sentiment ('Happy Christmas' in Finnish) is stamped on a strip of vellum. I die cut the snowflake using a Penny Black die and as finishing touches there's some twine and a sticky back pearl.

Kukkia koholla - Stamped and embossed

Tein muutaman onnittelukortin leimaus+kohokuviointikombolla. Käytin näihin Hero Artsin Silhouette Vines -leimaa ja sen mukana tulevaa kohokuviointikansiota, joilla sai mielestäni kivan lopputuloksen. Leima kohokuviointeineen on melko iso, joten paljon muuta ei korttiin mahdukaan, vain tekstileima (FinnStamper) vellumvyötteeseen ja kerrostus kartongille ja korttipohjaan. Ensimmäiseen korttiin väritin leiman Distress Markereilla ja Impress-tusseilla ja suihkaisin vettä perään, kaksi muuta korttia on leimattu Hero Artsin Shadow Inkeillä.

I made a few simple birthday cards with my new stamp and embossing folder set by Hero Arts. It's called 'Silhouette Vines' and I really like it, I think the embossing gives it a lovely look. The stamped and embossed image is quite large so there isn't much room for embellishments, I just stamped my sentiment ('Congrats' in Finnish) on a strip of vellum and matted the image on some cardstock and then onto the card base. For the first card, I used Distress Markers and Impress markers to colour the stamp before spritzing it with some water and stamping it, and the other two cards are just stamped with Hero Arts Shadow Inks.

Hyvää syntymäpäivää - Happy Birthday

... Nonni! :) Korttikarkurin korttitaituri Nonnilla on tänään syntymäpäivä ja sen kunniaksi Sandie järjestää blogissaan Nonnille linky partyn (lisätietoja ja linkittymismahdollisuuden löydät Sandien blogista, jossa kannattaa muutenkin käydä tutustumassa Sandien upeisiin kortteihin). Nonni on leimailun mestari ja taitaa tyylikkäästi CAS:n, joten näillä eväillä yritin tehdä oman korttini Nonnille. Leimaukset tein Avery Ellen Modern Leaves -setin leimalla, jota käytin sekä oikein- että väärinpäin (nuo vihreät ja keltaiset yksiväriset lehdet on leimattu leimasimen nurjalla puolella ja nuo raitaiset lehdet taas leimasimen oikealla, varsinaisella leimauspuolella). Musteina käytin Hero Artsin Shadow Inkeja Lemon Yellow, Green Hills ja Cup O' Joe. Tekstileima on FinnStamperin. Jotta kortti ei olisi liian tylsä, leikkasin paperileikkurilla etupaneelin kahtia ja jätin pienen raon tuohon lehtien kohtaan, paneelin kiinnitin sitten kohoteipillä. Tällainen kortti Nonnille, toivottavasti pidät ystäväiseni! :) Ja vielä kerran: hyvää syntymäpäivää, ihana! :)

... to you, Nonni! :) The wonderful and very talented cardmaker Nonni from Korttikarkuri blog has her birthday today and to help her celebrate, Sandie from London Days blog has kindly arranged a linky party for her (for more info and for your chance to link up your card, visit Sandie's blog - and while you're there, if you're not familiar with Sandie please make sure you have time to check out her amazingly beautiful cards, she as well is one talented lady when it comes to cardmaking!). OK, so Nonni is an amazing stamper and masters the elegant CAS style perfectly - I tried to follow suit and make her a birthday card that would involve only stamping and be CAS, and this is what I came up with. I used both sides of one stamp from the 'Modern Leaves' set by Avery Elle to stamp the leaves. The solid yellow and green leaves are stamped with the back side of the stamp and the striped leaves are stamped with the actual "right" side of the same stamp. I used Hero Arts Shadow Inks (Lemon Yellow, Green Hills and Cup O' Joe) for my stamping. The sentiment says 'Congratulations' in Finnish. To add a bit of interest to the card, I cut the front panel in half! :D I attached it with some foam tape to give it some dimension and left a tiny space between the two halves. Ruusuja - Roses

Pidän Charles Rennie Mackintoshin töistä ja kun huomasin, että Chocolate Baroquella on Mackintosh-vaikutteisia leimoja, niin pitihän ne kotiuttaa ;) Tämä leima on Mackintosh Windows -setistä, embossasin sen mustalla, väritin Twinkling H2O -vesiväreillä ja kerrostin mustalle kartongille. Tekstileima on FinnStamperin, sekin mustalla embossattu ja kartongille kerrostettu. Taustaleima on Hero Artsin Modern Lines ja senkin embossasin. Sekä leimakuva että tekstileima on kohotarroilla kiinnitetty.

I love Charles Rennie Mackintosh's work and when I noticed that Chocolate Baroque has stamp designs influenced by him, I had to have them! ;) This particular stamp is from the 'Mackintosh Windows' set, I heat embossed it with black powder and coloured with Twinkling H2O watercolours. The sentiment says 'Congrats' and it's heat embossed as well, as is the background stamp ('Modern Lines' by Hero Arts). Both stamped panels are adhered with foam adhesives.

Valokeilassa - In the Spotlight

Tein tämän kortin jo viime viikolla Simon Says Stampin haasteeseen, mutta ehdin vasta nyt sitä bloggaamaan. Ajattelin siis pitkästä aikaa kokeilla spotlight-tekniikkaa. Embossasin korttipohjaan Hero Artsin Large Flower Backgroundin valkoisella jauheella ja tein sitten saman vesiväripaperille. Vesiväripaperista sitten stanssasin ympyrän ja väritin siitä kukan ja taustan Twinkling H2O-vesiväreillä. Embossasin vellumille FinnStamperin tekstin (tuo fontti on niiiin ihana! :) ), kiinnitin sen korttipohjaan, ympyrän päälle kohotarroilla ja sitten vielä kulmien pyöristys.

I made this card already last week for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and I thought I'd better blog it before the challenge closes! :) I've tried the spotlight technique previously (some years ago, I think?) and I thought I'd try it again. So I heat embossed the gorgeous Large Flower Background by Hero Arts on my card base and did the same on some watercolour paper. Then I die cut the circle from the heat embossed watercolour paper and colour it with some Twinkling H2O watercolours. I heat embossed my greeting (it says 'Congrats') on a strip of vellum and adhered to my card base, and then adhered the circle with some foam adhesives. Lastly, I simply rounded the opposing corners with my Corner Chomper.

Upotettu stanssaus - Die Cut Inlay

Blogissa on pitänyt pientä hiljaisuutta, mutta kesä ja kuumuus ovat ajaneet kortteilun edelle. Myös askarteluhuoneen muutto vei aikansa mutta on nyt valmis (jee! :D ). Tässä näytille ensimmäinen uudessa askarteluhuoneessa (ent. vaatehuoneessa...) tehty kortti. Olen jo pitemmän aikaa ajatellut kokeilla upotettua stanssausta ja nyt, kun se on P*skarteluhaasteessa aiheena, sain kokeiluni käyntiin. Stanssasin Memory Boxin Arboscello Tree -stanssilla puun valkoiselle kartongille ja samaisen puun violetista kartongista ja istutin sen valkoisen kartongin aukkoon. Sitten vain tekstileimaa (FinnStamper) vellumille ja kiinnitys kohotarralla korttipohjaan. Puuhun laitoin vielä muutaman tirpan istumaan (stanssasin ne Memory Boxin Resting Birds -stanssilla ja laitoin päälle vielä kirkasta Wink of Stellaa). Siinäpä se :)

It's been a bit quiet here on the blog lately but I've been busy enjoying summer and the warmth (or should I say 'heat' as we have +28 degrees in the shade... phew!). Also my craft room move took its time but that is now over, done and finished - I've officially moved my crafty room with all its belongings from one room into another (read: into a walk-in closet :D ). I've had time to craft in my new room as well and I made this card. I've wanted to try the die cut inlay technique for a while now and finally did so (prompted by the current challenge over at P*skarteluhaaste blog). The die I used is called Arboscello Tree and it's by Memory Box as is the Resting Birds die I used to die cut the little birds on the tree (there's some clear Wink of Stella on the birds so they look pretty and glittery :) ). The sentiment on the strip of vellum says 'Best wishes on your birthday'. The textured cardstock is by Papermania and American Crafts. The white panel is raised as it is attached with foam adhesives.

Kukkia, kukkia - Flowers, flowers

Se tuntuu tuo ruokapöydän kulma olevan varsin inspiroiva paikka - taas innostuin siinä väkertämään korttia! (Ja jos et ole paria aikaisempaa postaustani lukenut, niin olen muuttamassa askarteluhuonettani paikasta toiseen ja tavaroitani on siellä täällä, ja yhä enenevässä määrin ruokapöydällä, johon olen laittanut itselleni hätävara-askartelupaikan ;D ). Ehkä jotain tekemistä intoon on myös näillä ihanilla leimoilla... Kyseessä on siis Altenew'n Painted Flowers -setti, johon ihastuin ensinäkemältä. Musteina tässä on taas Heron Shadow Inkit, kartonki on Papermanian tekstuuripintaista kartonkia ja tekstileima on FinnStamperin. Kaarevan reunan stanssasin Simon Says Stampin Curved Edge -stanssilla.

Our dining room table is proving to be a very inspiring place for crafting - I had to make yet another card there today! (If you've read my previous posts, you know that I'm in the middle of moving my crafty room from one room to another and have my crafty stuff all over the place, and I've made myself a makeshift crafty corner on our dining room table. Luckily it's quite big so we can still eat at it, too... ;D ). And just maybe my new gorgeous stamps have something to do with my sudden burst of inspiration... ;) The stamps are from the 'Painted Flowers' set by Altenew and I love love love them! I used them here with some Hero Arts Shadow Inks, some textured cardstock by Papermania, and with a sentiment stamp that says 'Congrats' in Finnish. The curved edge is die cut with a Simon Says Stamp die called - yes, Curved Edge :)

CASE Study #197

Olen keskellä muuttoa: muutan nimittäin askarteluhuonettani paikasta toiseen (itse asiassa huoneesta vaatehuoneeseen...) ja tavaroitani on siellä, täällä ja tuolla. Innoistuin kuitenkin tänään tekemään kortin CASE Study -haasteeseen, joten tein itselleni pienen hätävara-askartelunurkkauksen ruokapöydälle ja tämä oli siinä väkertämisen tulos. Käytin korttiin WPlus9:n Fresh Cut Florals -leimoja, Heron musteita ja FinnStamperin tekstileimaa. Ympyrän stanssasin tuohon paneeliin ja tekstileiman leimasin itse korttipohjaan, paneeli on tarrapaloilla kiinnitetty. (Taas kerran muuten tuo kuva näyttää Flickr:n puolella paljon paremmalta, kannattaa käydä katsomassa se sieltä. Osaako kukaan neuvoa, miten kuva tuodaan Flickr:stä Bloggeriin?)

I'm in the middle of a move: I'm moving my crafty room from one room to another (well, I guess 'room' is saying too much, it's just a walk-in-closet really...) and I have my crafty stuff all over the place. Today I had to make myself a tiny crafty oasis on our dining room table as I wanted to make a card for the current CASE Study challenge. I made my card using WPlus9 stamps ('Fresh Cut Florals'), some Hero Arts Shadow Inks (love them!), and a sentiment stamp (it says 'Congrats' in Finnish). I die cut the circle and attached the panel with foam adhesives so it is a bit raised. (The piccie looks far better on my Flickr account, so please go and check it out there. For some reason Blogger makes my pictures look so much darker...)
