Onnistunut virhe - Happy accident

Vaihteeksi näytille kortti, johon olen itse todella tyytyväinen :) Tein korttipohjan ja tuon paneelin Papermanian tekstuuripintaisesta kartongista ja maskasin paneelin osittain post-it -lapuilla. Maskaamattoman osan mustetin Distress Inkeillä ja  embossasin päälle kullalla Penny Blackin ihanan All You Need... -leiman, tekstileima on Papertrey Inkiä ja niinikään embossattu. Lisänä hieman kultaista narua ja lopulta paneelin kiinnitys kohotarroilla. Jos tarkkaan katsot, näet leimakuvan ympärillä irtohiukkasia embossausjauhetta - onnistunut virhe! :D Distress Inkit olivat vielä hieman kosteita, kun embossasin tuon Pennyn leiman ja siihen tarttui embossausjauhetta. Kiroilin aluksi kuin merimies, kun huomasin sen (tai siis, kröhöm, olisin kiroillut kuin merimies, jos kiroilisin... kröhöm... ;D ) mutta hetken sitä katseltuani, se alkoikin näyttää ihan kivalta, kuin keijupölyltä (tai siitepölyltä, jos haluaa järkevämmän selityksen ;) ), joten loppuvaiheessa lisäilin embossausjauhetta leimakuvan ympärille ja embossasin kiinni. Ja edelleen se näyttää mielestäni kivalta :)

I'm quite pleased with how this card turned out (that doesn't happen too often, I have to say). The cardbase and the panel is textured white cardstock by Papermania. I masked part of the panel with post-it notes and inked the unmasked part with Distress Inks, then I heat embossed the gorgeous 'All You Need...' stamp by Penny Black with gold tinsel embossing powder. The sentiment (from a PTI set) is heat embossed as well. Then I added some gold string and adhered the panel with foam adhesives. If you look closely, you'll see some loose flakes of embossing powder around the stamped image - that's a happy accident! :) The Distress Inks were still a bit wet when I applied the embossing powder to the stamped image, so loose flakes stuck to the Distress Inks. When I noticed this, I swore like a sailor (I'm glad you couldn't hear me... ;) ) because I thought I had to bin the card but when I looked at it a while, it started to look nice. The loose flakes look like fairy dust (or pollen, if you prefer being more rational ;) ) and I think it was nice so I even added a bit more embossing powder around the image and heat embossed them. I don't know about you, but I kinda like it! :)

Moro moro - Hello hello hello

Tässä kortissa olen käyttänyt roppakaupalla uusia leimasimia :) Sain Nonnilta joululahjaksi ensimmäiset STAMPlorations-leimani, nuo ihanat lehdet ovat setistä Trendy Leaves. Leimasin ne WPlus9:n stanssilla stanssatulle tagille Heron musteilla ja pienempään tagiin leimasin Papertrey Inkin tekstin Heron musteilla myös. Raitataustan leimasin Simon Says Stampin Wide Stripes Background -leimalla. Koristeiksi laitoin hieman nyöriä ja muutaman pienenpienen paljetin.

I got some new stamps for Christmas (yay, lucky me! :) :) ) that I haven't had the chance to use until now. The lovely Nonni gave me my very first STAMPlorations stamps, the gorgeous leaves I've stamped on the tag are from the 'Trendy Leaves' set. The sentiment, stamped three times on the little tag, is by Papertrey Ink, and the striped background is stamped with a Simon Says Stamp stamp called 'Wide Stripes Backgound'. The tags are die cut with WPlus9 dies, all the inks I've used are by Hero Arts. As embellies there are the tiniest sequins I've ever seen (I found them at a local super market and had to buy them as they were so cute :) ) and some May Arts twine.

Jouluvalot - Christmas Lights

Tuntuu, että näitä joulukortteja alkaa pikkuhiljaa pukata jo korvistakin ulos mutta vielä taitaa olla jokunen bloggaamatta, tässä niistä yksi. Tykkään hurjasti tästä Michael Powell -leimakuvasta, se on jotenkin suloisen tunnelmallinen. Väritin sen Distress Markereilla ja lisäilin tähtiin ja jouluvaloihin hieman kirkasta Wink of Stellaa. Papertrey Inkin tekstileiman embossasin kullalla vellumbanneriin ja koristeeksi laitoin vintagenapin ja hieman kultalankaa. Paperi on Lili of the Valleyn.

I've got a simple little Christmas card to show you this time. I really like this Michael Powell image, which I coloured with Distress Markers and added clear Wink of Stella to the stars and the Christmas lights. The sentiment is from a Papertrey Ink set, I heat embossed it with gold onto a vellum banner. As embellishment, there's a vintage button and some golden thread. The patterned paper is by Lili of the Valley.

Unisieppari - Dreamcatcher

Serkkuni täytti vuosia tässä taannoin ja koska tiedän hänen pitävän unisieppareista (aivan kuten minäkin :) ), mikäpä sen parempi aihe korttiin kuin - unisieppari! :) Käytin tähän WPlus9:n Dreamcather-stanssia ja stanssasin osat valkoisesta Papermanian kartongista, sulat toiseen kertaan vellumista. Sulkien kärjet dippasin Ecolinen vesiväriin ja koska kärjistä tuli melko tummat, töpötin niihin päälle hieman Heron valkoista mustetta. Koristeina paljetteja. Taustan tein Dawn Woleslaglen Bokeh made easy -tekniikalla, tosin en käyttänyt vesiväritaustaa kuten Dawn, koska se ei ihan onnistunut (kröhöm...) vaan ihan yksiväristä kuviopaperia. Bokeh-ympyrät tein valkoisella Heron musteella ja pienimmät kirkkaalla Wink of Stellalla. Kiva siitä tuli kuitenkin mutta valitettavasti se ei näin kuvassa näytä ihan yhtä kauniilta kuin livenä :/ Tekstileima on muuten PTI:n.

My cousin celebrated her birthday the other day and I made her a birthday card. She loves dreamcatchers (as do I :) ) so I thought she might like a card with one as well. My dreamcatcher is made with WPlus9's Dreamcatcher die, I die cut all the parts from white Papermania cardstock, and I also die cut the feathers from vellum. I dipped the ends of the feathers in a bottle of Ecoline liquid watercolour and then dapped a little white Hero Arts ink on top because they turned out a bit too dark for my liking. As embellies (or caught dreams ;) ) there are some white sequins. The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink. I made the background following Dawn Woleslagle's 'Bokeh made easy' tutorial, although I didn't use a watercoloured background as she did (mainly because mine didn't turn out too pretty... ;) ), I just used patterned paper. The bokeh circles are made using white Hero Arts ink and a Wink of Stella brush pen. The background looked really nice but unfortunately, it doesn't look as nice on the photos :/

Tirpuunen jouluaamuna - A Bird on a Branch

Tällä kertaa joulukorttiin pääsi tuo koivikkoleima PTI:n Through the Trees -setistä. Embossasin sen valkoisella, sudin sinistä Distress Inkiä päälle ja lisäsin tuon tipusen (stanssattu Memory Boxin Resting Birds -stanssilla). Taustan paperit ovat Teresa Collinsin Christmas Cottage -sarjaa ja kaareva reuna on stanssattu Simon Says Stampin stanssilla. Tekstileima on Stempelkelleriä ja embossattu niin ikään valkoisella. Eipä siinä sen kummempia :)

It's another Christmas card, this time with a stamp from the 'Through the Trees' set by Papertrey Ink. I stamped and heat embossed the image and sponged some blue Distress Ink on it, then I added the little bird on the branch (die cut with the Memory Box die 'Resting Birds'). The patterned papers are by Teresa Collins ('Christmas Cottage') and I die cut the curved edge with a Simon Says Stamp die. The sentiment says 'Merry Christmas' in Finnish and it's heat embossed as well. That's about it, nothing too fancy on this card (nothing new there, right? ;) ).

Auringonpaistetta - Wishing you sunshine

Ympyräkorttia ystävälle tällä kertaa, eli stanssailin ympyrät korttipohjasta ja Pink Paisleen papereista. Siihen sekaan hieman Papertrey Inkin perhosta ja tekstileimaa sekä nyöriä ja paljetteja. Perhosen leimasin Heron musteella ja kiinnitin tarrapaloilla. Siinäpä se :)

A little card for a friend this time. I die cut the circles with My Favorite Things' dies, the papers are by Pink Paislee. I stamped and die cut the butterfly with Papertrey Ink stamps and dies ('Beautiful Butterflies'), the ink is by Hero Arts and the butterfly is attached with some foam adhesives. The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink as well. As additional elements there's some twine and a few sequins. And that's pretty much it :)

Mummolle - For My Grandma

Mummoni täyttää tänään 94 vuotta, kävimme eilen juhlimassa ja kahvittelemassa pienen lahjan ja tällaisen kortin kera. Tai no, kortteja oli itse asiassa kolme - molemmat pojat tekivät isomummolle omat korttinsa. Harmittaa oikein, etten tajunnut ottaa niistä kuvaa, olisitte nähneet, että jään korttien tekemisessä kyllä kirkkaasti kakkoseksi, sen verran hienot kortit molemmat pojat tekivät :) Omaan korttiini embossasin Papertrey Inkin Year of Flowers -sarjan Sweet Peas -leiman kullalla ja väritin Twinkling H2O -väreillä. Stanssasin sen osittain Spellbindersin ovaalilla stanssilla ja kerrostin korttipohjaan kohotarralla. Kuviopaperin kehystin harmaalla kartongilla ja lisäilin hieman vaaleanpunaisia timantteja ja ääriviivatarroja, kulmat pyöristin.

My Grandma turns 94 years old today :) We celebrated her yesterday and brought her a little gift and this card. Well, actually, we gave her three cards in all as both of my boys (4 years and 1,5 years old) made her a card as well. I'm so annoyed with myself because I didn't think of photographing the cards, I could have shown you how I'm clearly the worst cardmaker in this family - the cards my boys made were so gorgeous! :) For my card, I heat embossed the Papertrey Ink stamp 'Year of Flowers: Sweet Peas' with gold embossing powder and coloured the image with Twinkling H2O watercolours after partially die cutting it with an oval Spellbinders die. For the background I used some pretty patterned paper which I 'framed' with grey cardstock. I attached the stamped image with foam adhesives and added some golden stickers (the sentiment says 'Congrats') and some pink rhinestones to finish the card off. Oh, and I also rounded the corners with a cornerchomper.

Koululaiselle - For a school boy

Nuorin veljenpojistani aloitti tänä syksynä koulun ja sen kunniaksi muistimme häntä pienellä koulunaloittajaispaketilla. Paketin kylkeen tein tällaisen pienen tagin jämäpapereilla, Papertrey Inkin stanssilla, Dr Ninan leimakuvalla (väritys ProMarkereilla) ja Paper Smoochesin aakkosleimoilla. Lisäksi muutama enamel dots ja pienellä nitojalla kiinnitetty nauha.

The youngest of my nephews started school this autumn (oh how time flies...!) and to mark the occasion, we gave him a small present and I made this tag to go with it. I used some leftover patterned papers, a cute stamped image coloured with ProMarkers, some Paper Smooches alphabet stamps, and a Papertrey Ink die to make it. As finishing touches there are some enamel dots and some ribbon attached with a Tiny Attacher.

Pyöräillen - Biking along

Sain eilen ensimmäisen tilaukseni Clearly Besottedilta ja sormet syyhyten jaksoin odottaa tähän päivään, että tein niillä ensimmäisen kortin :) (täytyy muuten sanoa, että oli kertakaikkisen sievästi pakattu tilaus, pisteet siitä! :) ). Stanssasin ja leimasin tähän pyörän koreineen Good Times -setistä, taustalle laitoin neliön Building Blocks -setistä. Kukat ovat Papertrey Inkin Beautiful Blooms II -setistä ja tekstileima on FinnStamperin. Musteet on Heron.

I received my very first order from Clearly Besotted yesterday and I could hardly wait until today to make a card with my new goodies :) (as a side note I have to say that I don't think I've ever received an order that was packed as prettily as this one was :) Love!). So, I die cut and stamped the bike and the little basket (from 'Good Times' set) and adhered them with foam adhesives. The square on the background is from 'Building Blocks' set and the tiny flowers flowing out of the basket are stamped with a tiny Papertrey Ink stamp (from 'Beautiful Blooms II' set). The sentiment says 'For a Friend' in Finnish. All the inks are Hero Arts Shadow Inks.

Case Study #195

Nyt tulee lyhyen ajan sisään tehtyä haasterintamalla monta ekaa kertaa, sillä nyt osallistun ensimmäistä kertaa CASE Study -haasteeseen. Inspiraatiokortista nappasin omaksi innoituksekseni kraftin värisen korttipohjan, asettelun ja valkoisen leimauksessa. Omassa kortissani tuon valkoisen tein tosin eri tavalla, leimasin ensin valkoisella VersaMagic-musteella ja heti perään Hero Artsin Shadow Inkillä hieman "ohi" niin, että valkoista jäi näkyviin (tälle tekniikalle on varmasti nimi, mutta en tiedä, mikä se on). Paneelit kohotin korttipohjasta tarrapaloilla. Leimat ovat PTI:n (Beautiful Blooms II ja Blooming Button Bits) ja FinnStamperin.

It seems that I'm challenging myself quite a bit these days and doing many things for the first time - this time I'm taking part in the CASE Study Challenge for the very first time :) What I was inspired about in the sample card was the kraft coloured card base, the general layout of the card and white used in the colouring. I managed to bring the white into my card by first stamping in white VersaMagic ink and then with coloured ink (Hero Arts Shadow Inks) on top of the white - there's probably a name for this technique but I've no idea what it is! I raised the panels from the card base with foam adhesives and stamped the sentiment ('Congratulations' in Finnish) on the card base itself. The stamps I used are by Papertrey Ink (from the sets 'Beautiful Blooms II' and 'Blooming Button Bits').

Kesäkukkia ja kysymys - Summer flowers and a question

Ehdin tänään hetken askarrella ja tein kortin Time Out Challengesin haasteeseen #7, jossa aiheena on kesä ja vapaaehtoinen lisä on kukat. Kesällä hymy on herkemmässä kuin talvella, joten siitä tuo teksti ja se on sitä kesää tässä kortissa. Kukat on leimattu Papertrey Inkin Beautiful Blooms II -setin kukilla ja lehdet ovat niinikään PTI:n, Turning a New Leaf -setistä. Musteet ovat Hero Artsin Shadow Inkejä ja kartonkin Papermanian tekstuuripintaista kartonkia. Kiinnitin kortin etupaneelin tarrapaloilla, joten se on hieman koholla.

I had a little time to craft today and I made this card for Time Out Challenges' challenge #7, the theme is 'Summer' with the optional twist of flowers. The sentiment on this card says something like 'Smile is the shortest distance between two people' and that is what I associate with summer: smiles :) I stamped the flowers with Papertrey Ink stamps ('Beautiful Blooms II'), the leaves are also PTI stamps ('Turning a New Leaf'). The inks I used are Hero Arts Shadow Inks and the cardstock is again textured cardstock by Papermania. The front panel is raised with foam adhesives.

Ja nyt pieni kysymysosio: Onko kenelläkään muulla ongelmia siinä, että Blogger tekisi kuvista synkät? Oman tietokoneeni kuvakansiossa tämä kuva näytti ihan hyvältä, valkoinen oli valkoista ja kuva oli 'valoisa'. Kun latasin sen Bloggeriin, näyttää kuva siltä kuin se olisi otettu puolipimeässä. Ärsyttävää! Sama tapahtuu oli tausta sitten valkoinen tai värillinen. Vinkkejä? Neuvoja? Apua?

I have a little question, I wonder if you can help me. I have this problem with Blogger turning my pictures greyish and dark. This picture looked good in the picture file of my computer (the white was white and the piccie had 'light') but as soon as I uploaded it to my blog, it looked awful, so grey and dull and as if it had been taken during the night in the dark. This happens every time, regardless of the colour of the background in the piccie (I've tried white, different pastel colours, etc.) and it annoys the heck out of me! Anyone know why this is? What can I do? Thanks for your help!

Ylioppilaalle - For a Graduate

Tästä ylioppilaskortista tuli varsin CAS. Lehdet leimasin Papertrey Inkin lehdillä (Turning a New Leaf -setistä) ja marjat ovat palloleimoja PTI:n Beautiful Blooms II -setistä, lisänä tekstileima. Kaikki leimaukset tein Hero Artsin Shadow Inkeillä ja kartongit ovat Papermanian tekstuuripintaisia kartonkeja.

This card turned out to be quite CAS! I stamped the leaves with a couple of stamps from the 'Turning a New Leaf' set by Papertrey Ink and the berries are stamps from the Beautiful Blooms II set by PTI. The sentiment says 'For a Graduate'. All the inks I used are Hero Arts Shadow Inks and the green and white cardstock are textured cardstock by Papermania.

Kukkia - Flowers

Joko alkaa kyllästyttää vesivärikortit? Toivottavasti ei, sillä näitähän riittää... ;D Tämän kortin tein Watercolor for Cardmakers -kurssille Jennifer McGuiren 6.päivän tutoriaalin pohjalta. Leimakuva tässä on Papertrey Inkin Morning Glories, väritys Distress Markereilla. Onnea-leima on osa FinnStamperin tekstileimaa (kokonaisuudessaan siinä lukee Paljon Onnea, mutta leimasin vain tuon lopun siitä), lisänä vähän stanssausta, puolihelmiä ja kartonkia.

Are you bored already with my watercolour cards? Hope not as there are plenty more of these still coming... ;D I made this card for the Watercolor for Cardmakers class using Jennifer McGuire's tutorial on Day 6 for help. I used the 'Morning Glories' stamp by Papertrey Ink as well as a sentiment stamp (it says 'Congrats' in Finnish) on this, the image is coloured with Distress Markers. I did some die cutting for this and used sticky back pearls as embellishments.

Here's a close up on the watercoloured image (I'm not good at taking piccies so it's not the best close up though), the watercolouring shimmers a bit in real life - can you see it in the piccie?

Läksyjä - Homework

Taas korttikurssin "kotiläksyinä" tehty kortti, tällä kertaa Agnieszka Malyszekin tutoriaalin mukaan. Taustan tekoon käytin Neocolor II -liituja, perhonen on stanssattu Papertrey Inkin stanssilla (Love Lives Here -setistä). Lisänä vähän narua, mustaa Enamel Accentsia ja tekstileima.

Here's another card I made for the Watercolor for Cardmakers online class. This is made according to the tutorial by Agnieszka Malyszek using some Neocolor II crayons. The butterfly is die cut with a Papertrey Ink die (from the 'Love Lives Here' set), there's also a bit of thread and some black Enamel Accents dots. The sentiment says 'Congrats' in Finnish.

Ehdin tänään istahtaa askartelupöydän ääreen ja tehdä kortin Time Out Challengesin haasteen #4 innoittamana, haasteessa pitää CASEta Virginia Lun kortti omalla lisällä (inspiraatiokortti täällä), ja tällainen tuli minun tulkinnastani. Otin mallikortista asettelun ja ehkä hieman värimaailmaakin sekä paljetit, omaa otetta tässä on kukan muuttaminen perhoseksi (PTI:n leima ja stanssi), lankasykerön muuttaminen lehdiksi (Penny Blackin stanssi) ja eri kuviot papereissa. Tekstileimankin jätin pois, tekstin voi tuohon myöhemmin lisätä, kun tietää, kenelle ja miksi kortin antaa.

I had some time for crafting today and I made this card inspired by challenge #4 over at Time Out Challenges where you need to CASE Virginia Lu's card and add your own twist to the card (you can see the inspiration card here). The main inspiration that I took from Virginia's lovely card was the layout, and perhaps even the use of colours (almost solid blue background with a strip of colourful paper and a solid colour focal point) and sequins. I added my own twist by using a butterfly (a stamp and a die by Papertrey Ink) instead of a flower and a branch of leaves (a die by Penny Black) instead of string, also the patterns on the paper(s) are obviously different. I also left out the sentiment, sometimes it's good to have a card without any sentiments so you can personalize the card later if need be.ko

Tyttövauvalle - For a baby girl

Oliko ikävä?! :D Vai huomasitkokaan, että blogini vietti hiljaiseloa? No niin tai näin, täällä ollaan taas. Hiljaiselolle ei ole mitään järisyttävää syytä, kunhan kadotin mojoni totaalisesti, sitä sun tätä sattui ja muut asiat kiinnostivat askartelua enemmän (järkyttävää, eikö? ;) ), mutta nyt taas on innostus hieman palannut, kortteja on syntynyt muutama ja josko niitä saisi nyt tänne blogiinkin asti. Tässä näytille yksi hiljaiselon aikana syntyneistä korteista. Minua pyydettiin tekemään ristiäiskortti tyttövauvalle ja tällainen siitä tuli. Leimakuva on Pysselpassionin 'Agnes döps' Distress Markereilla ja kimalletussilla väritettynä, tekstileima on FinnStamperin . Paperi on Bazzillin ja koristeina hieman pikkuruusuja ja Memory Boxin stanssilla stanssattu oksa. Simppeli kortti mutta toivottavasti oli sekä tilaajalle että saajalle mieluinen.

Did you miss me?! :D Or did you notice at all that I wasn't around? Well, either way, here I am again. There were a few reasons for my silence - I lost my mojo completely (and I mean completely!), there was a bit of life happening, and I simply found other things more exciting than crafting (shocking, I know! ;) ) but now, I'm slowly finding my way back to my craft table and getting hold of my mojo again so who knows, you might just see me around a bit more. Here's one card I made during my absence. I was asked to make a card for a baby girl's christening and this is what I came up with. I used this adorable stamp 'Agnes döps' by Pysselpassion and coloured it with Distress Markers and some clear glitter brush pen. The sentiment says 'For a baby girl' and it is stamped on a strip of vellum. The patterned paper is by Bazzill and as embellishments, there are some tiny roses and a die cut (Memory Box). So, it turned out quite simple (as usual) but I hope the recipient liked it.

Ystävälle - For Friend

Se taitaapi taas olla viikoittaisen postauksen aika... Kovin on käynyt laiskanpulskeaksi tämä tahti mutta parempi tämäkin ehkä kuin ei mitään, toivottavasti ainakin ;) Tällä kertaa vuorossa on tällainen simppeli kortti ystävälle. Käytin siihen Papermanian tekstuuripintaisia kartonkeja, Papertrey Inkin leimoja (sekoitin leimoja seteistä Blooming Button Bits ja Beautiful Blooms II) ja FinnStamperin tekstileimaa. Kukkien keskustoina on vähän blingiä.

Well, I guess it's time again for my weekly post... My blog posts seem to be quite few and far between but I hope it's still better than nothing ;) This time I have a little card for a friend to show you. It's quite simple (once again), I simply used some Papermania cardstock, some Papertrey Ink stamps (a mix of 'Blooming Button Bits' and 'Beautiful Blooms II') and a sentiment stamp (it says 'For Friend' in Finnish) to make it. Also there's a bit of bling as the centres of flowers.

Unikkoja - Poppies

Vaihteeksi taas ihan simppeli peruskortti. Hero Artsin Poppy Backgroundin embossasin valkoisella jauheella ja väritin unikot Twinkling H2O -väreillä. Kerrostin ne parille kartongille ja kiinnitin korttipohjaan, jonka olin kohokuvioinut Papertrey Inkin Impression Platella. Lisäksi nauhaa rusetille.

Today I have a very simple and basic 'no fuss' card to show you. I heat embossed the 'Poppy Background' stamp by Hero Arts with white embossing powder and coloured the image with Twinkling H2O watercolours. I then matted the image on a couple of layers of cardstock and attached on my cardbase (I had dry embossed the card base with an Impression Plate by Papertrey Ink). Then I just added a simple ribbon tied into a bow, and that's it.

Tiikerililja - Tiger Lilly

Löysin tämän Penny Blackin Tiger Lilly -leiman joulun jälkeisistä aleista ja nyt se pääsi käyttöön ensimmäistä kertaa. Tämä on syntymäpäiväkortti ystävälle ja ajattelin osallistua sillä tämänhetkiseen Penny Blackin Sending Hugs -haasteeseen, johon toivottiin ystävä- tai rakkausteemaista työtä (toivottavasti kortti ystävälle on tarpeeksi ystäväteemainen). Kortti on taas melko yksinkertainen: väritin leimakuvan Prismoilla ja stanssasin sen irti ja kiinnitin tarrapaloilla. Paperit on BasicGreytä ja My Mind's Eyetä, tekstileima on Papertrey Inkin (embossasin sen ruskealla jauheella). Ja siinäpä se :)

I found this Tiger Lilly stamp by Penny Black on sale after Christmas and decided to use it now for the first time. I needed a birthday card for a friend and as Penny Black is having a Sending Hugs Challenge with the theme of friendship/love, I thought I'd submit my card (I hope a birthday card for a friend is acceptable for the theme). All in all, this is quite simple card really. I just coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils and die cut it, mounted it on some brown cardstock and attached it to the card base with foam adhesives for a little dimension. I heat embossed the sentiment (by Papertrey Ink) with brown embossing powder. The patterned papers I used are by BasicGrey and My Mind's Eye. And that's it really :)

Viimeiset joulukortit - The last of the Christmas cards

Tässä ne luvatut vuoden viimeiset joulukortit. Nämäkin menivät (blogi)kavereille ja tein ne kaikki "samalla kaavalla", vähän vaihtelin värejä ja elementtejä. Kaikissa tuo tausta on leimattu Hero Artsin Tweed Patternilla ja HA Shadow Inkillä ja tagi on värjätty Distress Staineilla. Koristeina löytyy sitten sekalaista seurakuntaa chipboard-kuvioista stanssattuihin lintuihin, en niistä sen kummemmin sepustele (ajan säästämiseksi ;) ), mutta jos kysyttävää on, niin kysy ja kerron kyllä.

Here's my last batch of Christmas cards for this year. I sent these to my (bloggy) friends. They're all basically the same, I simply changed the colours and some of the elements for each card. The background on each is stamped with 'Tweed Pattern' by Hero Arts and HA Shadow Inks and the tag is coloured with Distress Stains. As embellies there are a bit of everything from chipboard shapes to die cut shapes. I won't go into details with them now (to save some time ;) ) but if there's something you want to know, just ask :)
