Ystiksii ihan aina - Friends 4 Ever

Lisää pupuja :) Sain blogiystävältäni Patricialta leimakuvia ja stanssattuja kuvioita lahjaksi ja käytin niistä yhden tähän korttiin. Tämä suloinen pupu on Mama Elephantia, väritin sen Distress Markereilla ja laitoin hieman kimalletta pupun pitelemään sydämeen (ei tosin näy kuvassa). Pupu on kiinnitetty tarrapaloilla koholle. Paperit ovat sekalaista seurakuntaa Simon Says Stampin stansseilla stanssattuna ja tagi on stanssattu Tim Holtzin stanssilla, teksti siinä on Lawn Fawnia. Lisäksi hieman nyöriä ja kukkanappi.

It's a bunny card from me again :) My bloggy friend Patricia kindly gifted me some stamped images and die cuts (thank you, Patricia!), and I used one for this card. The bunny is by Mama Elephant, I believe, and I coloured her with my Distress Markers. I also added some subtle glitter to the heart she's holding (it's so subtle though that you can't see it in the picture :D ) and attached her with some foam adhesives. The papers are from my stash, I die cut them with Simon Says Stamp's stitched edge rectangle die and the curve is die cut with SSS's die, too. The round little tag is die cut with a Tim Holtz die and the sentiment is by Lawn Fawn. As embellishments, I added some twine and a cute little flower shaped button.

Pupu ilmapalloineen - Bunny with a Balloon

Lili of the Valley -linja jatkuu! :) Tämä söpöläinen on Balloon Bunny ja väritin sen taas Distress Markereilla. Tekstileimana käytin FinnStamperin leimaa, josta jätin sanan "sinulle" pois (se ei mahtunut! :D ). Stanssasin paneelin Simon Says Stampin ommelreunastanssilla ja kiinnitin korttipohjaan. Lisäksi laitoin vain muutaman pisteen mustalla liquid pearlsillä. En ole itsekään ihan varma, olisiko tämä syntymäpäiväkortti vaiko vain "ihanaa päivää, tässä sulle ilmapallo ja muffari" -kortti, mutta aika näyttäköön :)

Here's yet another card done with a Lili of the Valley stamp :) This one is called 'Balloon Bunny' and I coloured it with my Distress Markers. The sentiment says something like 'have a lovely day' in Finnish. I die cut the panel with the image and the sentiment with Simon Says Stamp's stitched rectangles die and attached it to the card base. I only added a few drops of black liquid pearls to finish the card.

Konepellin alla - Under the Bonnet

Toinen synttärikortti meidän pian 4-veelle, tämän hänelle antavat isovanhempansa. Leimakuva tässäkin on Lili of the Valley'n, nimeltään Under the Bonnet. Väritin sen Distress Markereilla, stanssasin Simon Says Stampin ommelreunastanssilla ja kiinnitin siniseen paperiin, jonka stanssasin Spellbindersin stanssilla. Kiinnitin kuvan korttipohjaan tarrapaloilla hieman koholle. Taustapaperi on Echo Parkia, lisänä tekstileima ja stanssattu numero (Memory Box).

Here's another birthday card for our soon-to-be 4-year-old, this will be given to him by his grandparents. The stamped image is once again by Lili of the Valley and it's called 'Under the Bonnet'. I coloured it with my Distress Markers, die cut out with Simon Says Stamp's stitched squares die, and matted onto a piece of cardstock die cut with a Spellbinders die. I then attached the whole thing onto the card with some foam adhesives, so it is a bit raised. The background paper is by Echo Park, the number is die cut with a Memory Box die, and the sentiment says 'Congrats!' in Finnish.

Auringonkukka ystävälle - Sunflower for a Friend

Väriterapia ja auringonkukat jatkuu! :) Bongasin Seven Hills Craftsillä kivan luonnoshaasteen ja tein tämän kortin sen pohjalta. Leimakuvana tässä on taas auringonkukka Lawn Fawnin Our Friendship Grows -setistä Copiceilla väritettynä ja kohotarralla kiinnitettynä. Raitataustan leimasin Simon Says Stampin Wide Stripes Background -leimalla ja Simonin High Dive -musteella ja stanssasin Simonin ommelreunaisella stanssilla. Kiinnitin senkin tarrapaloilla hieman koholle korttipohjasta. Tekstileima on Dekoretten setistä ja koristeina vähän nyöriä ja jokunen enamel dotsi.

It seems that I can't get enough of colour therapy and sunflowers now in the dead of winter! :) I noticed a lovely sketch challenge over at Seven Hills Crafts and made this following the said sketch. I used the biggest sunflower in the 'Our Friendship Grows' set by Lawn Fawn, coloured it with my Copics and attached with foam adhesives. I stamped the stripey background with 'Wide Stripes Background' stamp by Simon Says Stamp and their 'High Dive' ink, and die cut it with Simon's 'Stitched Rectangles' die. I attached it to the cardbase with foam adhesives, so it is a bit raised. The sentiment says 'for a friend' in Finnish, and as embellishments I've used some baker's twine and a few enamel dots.

Rakkaustirpat - Love Birds

Ja taas söpöstelyä! Minulta tilattiin hääkortti ja tein pari vaihtoehtoa, joista valita, tässä niistä ensimmäinen. Leimasin oksan ja tirpat Purple Onion Designsin leimoilla ja väritin Distress Markereilla. Levitin myös hieman sinistä Distress Inkiä taivaaksi ja lisäsin kirkasta Wink of Stellaa kukkiin. Tekstin stanssasin Penny Blackin stanssilla ja siihenkin lisäsin kerroksen Wink of Stellaa, sydämet on stanssattu Simon Says Stampin stanssilla. Lisäksi hieman kuviopaperia kaapin perukoilta ja kortti oli valmis.

I was asked to make a wedding card and I decided to make a couple to choose from, this is the first one. I used some Purple Onion Designs stamps for this, and coloured the image with Distress Markers. I also added some clear Wink of Stella to the little flowers and some blue Distress Ink to the sky. I die cut the word Love with a Penny Black die (it actually says 'With love' but I just left the 'with' out) and added some Wink of Stella to it, too. The little hearts are die cut with a Simon Says Stamp die. Then I added a couple of strips of patterned paper to the card and it was done. CAS and cute, again :)

Halauksia ja hymyjä - Hugs and Smiles

Tein tämän kortin tädilleni. Leimasin siihen nuo Penny Blackin ihanat kukat (gerberat?) ja väritin ne Copiceilla. Stanssasin kartongin sitten Simon Says Stampin ommelreunaisella neliöstanssilla niin, että kukat jäivät reunan yli. Tekstiin yhdistelin Penny Blackin ja Papertrey Inkin leimaa (alunperin tekstileimassa luki 'sending hugs & prayers', mutta muutin sen muotoon 'sending hugs & smiles') ja mustetin taustan Distress Inkillä. Taustapaperi on Lili of the Valley'ä ja koristeena muutama puolitimantti.

I wanted to send my aunt a card and I chose to make a sweet flower card. The flowers are a Penny Black stamp and I coloured the image with my Copics. I then die cut the cardstock with a square stitched edge die by Simon Says Stamp and left the flowers to hang off the edge of the diecut for a bit of added interest. For the sentiment I mixed a couple of sentiment stamps, one was by Papertrey Ink and the other by Penny Black. The sentiment said originally 'Sending hugs & prayers' and I changed it to 'Sending hugs & smiles'. I sponged some Distress Ink to the background and added a few little rhinestones to it. The patterned paper is by Lili of the Valley.

Söpöstelyä - Cuteness Overload

Tein tämän kortin ihanalle ystävälle syntymäpäiväkortiksi. Hullaannuin tässä taannoin hieman Purple Onion Designsin alessa ja kotiutin sieltä muutaman suloisen leiman, joista kolmea käytin tässä kortissa. Leimailin maskaten kukat ja koiran ja lisäsin vielä tuon tirpan kuvaan mukaan (jos tekisin kortin uudestaan, jättäisin tuon tirpan pois, se näyttää jotenkin ylimääräiseltä tuossa...). Väritys on Distress Markereilla ja osassa kukista on vielä hieman kirkasta Wink of Stellaa. Pyöreä aukko on stanssattu Simon Says Stampin ommelreunastanssilla ja pienet tägit Tim Holtzin tägistanssilla. Kohotin tuon sinisen paneelin kohotarroilla ja lisäksi laitoin hieman leipurinnyöriä ja pienen suloisen kukkanapin ja siinäpä se, hieman CAS-tyyliä ja paljon suloisuutta :)

I made this birthday card for a sweet friend. I recently went a bit crazy at the Purple Onion Designs' sale (just a bit crazy, not much... ha ha ha!) and bought myself a whole lot of cute stamps of which I used three here. I stamped and masked the flowers and the little dog and decided at the last minute to add the little bird there, too - if I had to remake this card now, I'd leave the birdie out, he looks a bit "added" there... I coloured the image with Distress Markers and added some clear Wink of Stella to some of the flowers. I die cut the circle with a Simon Says Stamp stitched edge die and also die cut the little tags with a Tim Holtz die and added the sentiment ('Congrats!' in Finnish) to the pink tag. The blue panel is raised just a little bit with foam adhesives. Then I just added some baker's twine and a cute little flower button and the card was done. A bit of CAS with loads of cuteness! :)

Elä auringossa - Live in the sunshine

Tein kortin parikymppiselle kummitytöllemme. Käytin siihen Hero Artsin Painted Canvas Background -leimaa, jonka leimasin suoraan korttipohjaan. Puut leimasin ja stanssasin Simon Says Stampin One with Nature -setillä ja embossasin mustalla. Väritys on Ecoline-vesiväreillä.Tekstileima on tuosta samasta Simonin setistä ja lisänä vielä vähän lankaa ja muutama tippa mustaa enamel accentsia.

I made a card for our 20-year-old goddaughter. For the background I used the Hero Arts 'Painted Canvas Background' stamp which I stamped directly to card base. I stamped and die cut the trees with 'One with Nature' set by Simon Says Stamp, the trees are heat embossed with black powder and coloured with Ecoline watercolours. The sentiment is from the same set as the trees, and as embellishments (of sorts.. ;) ) I used some black thread and a few dots of black enamel accents.

Minua pyydettiin tekemään synttärikortti 18 vuotta täyttävälle nuorelle naiselle ja annettiin vielä vapaat kädetkin! Tein tällaiset vaihtoehdot. Ekaan korttiin käytin Paper Smoochesin ihanaa kukkaleimaa Blossoming Buds -setistä, stanssasin sen irti ja väritin Copiceilla. Sitten vain stanssailin ympyrää korttipohjasta ja kuviopapereista, numeroita ja taustan kiekuroita hopeasta ja bannerin vellumista, siihen leimasin tekstileiman. Koristeiksi laitoin muutaman paljetin (nuo kuvassa tummalta näyttävät paljetit ovat oikeasti hopeisia).

I was asked to make a birthday card for a young lady turning 18 and I was given no guidelines as to what the cards should be like - wohoo! I came up with these two cards to choose from. For the first card I stamped and die cut the gorgeous flowers from the Paper Smooches set 'Blossoming Buds' and coloured them with my Copics. Then I just die cut a few circles out of  cardstock and patterned papers, the numbers and the circle loops out of silver glitter paper and the fishtail banner out of vellum. I stamped my sentiment ('Congrats' in Finnish) on the banner and added a few sequins for embellishment (in the piccie some of the sequins look really dark but they are actually silver).

 Toisen kortin tein vähän "rinsessamaisemmaksi" :) Leimasin siihen Lili of the Valleyn Pom Pom -leiman ja väritin senkin Copiceilla. Lisäsin hameeseen, siipiin ja pallukoihin kirkasta Wink of Stellaa mutta se ei kuvasta taida näkyä. Leimakuvan alareunan stanssasin kaarevaksi ja kiinnitin sen korttipohjaan. Numerot stanssasin taas hopeasta ja lisäsin nauhan rusetille.

The second card is a bit more "princess-y" (if that's a word.. ;) ). I used the sweet 'Pom Pom' by Lili of the Valley and coloured it with my Copics. I added a bit of clear Wink of Stella to her dress and wings but it doesn't really show in the piccie. I then die cut the curve to the stamped image and attached it to the card base. I die cut the numbers out of silver glitter cardstock and added the ribbon and tied it to a bow.

6-vuotiaalle - For our 6-year-old

Blogihiljaisuuteni aikana perheen esikoinen ehti täyttää täydet 6 vuotta ja tein hänelle tällaiset kortit. Ensimmäisen kortin hänelle antoivat isovanhemmat ja toisen kortin me. Leimakuva ensimmäisessä kortissa on Tiddly Inksin My Super Boy -setistä Copiceilla väritettynä. Taustan paperit ovat Echo Parkia ja Simple Storiesia mustalla kartongilla kehystettyinä. Koristeina Memory Boxin stanssilla stanssattu numero 6 ja muutama Kaiser Craftin droplet.

During my recent blog silence, my eldest boy turned 6 and I made him these cards. The first card was given to him by his grandparents and the second by us. The stamped image in the first card is from the Tiddly Inks set 'My Super Boy' and I coloured him with my Copic markers. The patterned papers I used are by Simple Stories and Echo Park, and there's also some black cardstock to spice things up a bit. The number 6 is diecut with a Memory Box die and I added some Kaiser Craft droplets as embellies.

Toisen kortin leimakuvan (Lili of the Valleyn Tree House) väritin Distress Markereilla ja stanssasin Simon Says Stampin ommelreunastanssilla. Taustapaperi on Echo Parkia ja koristeina löytyy stanssattu tagi (WPlus9), stanssattu numero (Memory Box), nyöriä ja muutama enamel drops. Tekstin stanssasin Memory Boxin aakkosstansseilla.

The stamped image on the second card is by Lili of the Valley and it's called 'Tree House'. I coloured it with my Distress Markers and die cut it out with a Simon Says Stamp stitched edge die. The background paper is by Echo Park and as embellies I used a die cut tag (WPlus9 die), a die cut number (a Memory Box die), some twine and a few enamel drops. The text is die cut with Memory Box alphabet dies and it spells out 'Congrats' in Finnish.

Time Out Challengesissa on nyt menossa erikoishaaste - Sandiella, yhdellä tuon haasteblogin perustajista, on tänään syntymäpäivä, joten haasteen aiheena on Sandien kunniaksi "CAS with the optional twist of purple". Itse koitin pysyä erittäin CAS-linjalla olematta kuitenkaan liian tylsä, joten taittelin korttipohjan violetista tekstuuripintaisesta kartongista ja stanssasin tuon valkoisen paneelin niinikään tekstuuripintaisesta kartongista. Paneeliin stanssasin aukon Penny Blackin 'Playful Posies' -stanssilla, leimasin tekstin Clearly Besottedin leimalla ja lisäsin hieman nyöriä ja muutaman timantin. Paneelin kiinnitin korttipohjaan kohotarroilla.

There's a special challenge over at Time Out Challenges - the sweet Sandie, one of the founders of the challenge blog, is celebrating her birthday today! Happy birthday, Sandie!! In honour of Sandie, the theme is 'CAS with the optional twist of purple'. I tried to keep my card as CAS as possible without being too dull and this is what I came up with. I diecut the white panel out of textured cardstock with Simon Says Stamp stitched edge die, and then I diecut the flowers with the Penny Black die 'Playful Posies' out of it as I only wanted to use the  negative of the die. The sentiment is a Clearly Besotted stamp and as embellies there's only some twine and a few sticky back rhinestones. Once again, very happy birthday, Sandie, hope you like this card!

Kukkia! - Flowers!

Tein tämän kortin pariin haasteeseen. Time Out Challengesissa on haasteena caseta kortti (casettava kortti näkyy täällä) ja Simon Says Stampin Flickr Challengesissa on teemana 'Mother's Day/Flowers'. Inspiraatiokortista poimin omaani kukat, värit ja asettelun. Kukkaset on leimattu Simonin Artful Flowers -setin kukilla ja Simonin musteilla, valkoiset lehdet taas on stanssattu Penny Blackin stanssilla. Ympyrän stanssasin niin ikään Simonin stansseilla ja taustan leimasin Simonin Diagonal Stripes -leimalla. Ympyrän takana on hieman vellumia, johon leimasin tekstileiman ja koristeiksi laitoin muutaman paljetin.

I made this card for a couple of challenges. First, there's Time Out Challenges where the challenge is to case, with your own twist, a card which you can see here, and the theme in Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge is 'Mother's Day/Flowers'. From the inspiration card, I took the flowers, the colours and the layout. I stamped the flowers with Simon Says Stamp's set 'Artful Flowers' and Simon Says Stamp inks and fussy cut them out. The white leaves I diecut with a Penny Black die. I diecut the circle frame with Simon Says Stamp's dies and stamped the background with - you guessed it! - Simon Says Stamp's 'Diagonal Stripes' background stamp. I attached some vellum behind the circle frame and stamped my sentiment on it (it says 'Congrats' in Finnish), and as embellies I used some sequins.

Hyvää äitienpäivää! - Happy Mother's Day!

Oliko ikävä!? :D Edellisestä bloggauksesta ehti vierähtää useampi kuukausi, hups! Hiljaisuus blogin puolella on tarkoittanut vilskettä ja muutoksia oikean elämän puolella, palasin alkuvuodesta töihin kotiäitivuosien jälkeen ja kiirettä on pitänyt! Kortteiluintokin ehti olla jäissä jonkun aikaa, mutta nyt taas tuntuu innostus heräilevän - josko tänne blogiinkin tulisi taas hieman useammin jotain näytille...

Well, did you miss me!? :D It's been a while, 6 months to be precise, since my last blog post. The silence in my blog has meant quite the opposite in real life. I returned to work after 6 years as a stay-at-home mum and my free time is even rarer these days than it used to be... I even lost my cardmaking mojo for a while there but now I can feel it slowly coming back - maybe now you'll see some cards here in the old blog-o from time to time, you never know...

Äitienpäivän kunniaksi pari äitienpäiväkorttia näytille. Ensimmäisen kortin tein omalle äidilleni. Käytin siihen Simon Says Stampin ihania Spring Flowers -leimoja, jotka embossasin valkoisella ja väritin Distress Markereilla. Tekstileima on Papertrey Inkiä (suomenkielistä äitienpäivätoivotusta minulla ei olekaan, joten englannilla mentiin). Taustapaperi on Kaisercraftia ja koristeena on hieman nyöriä ja muutama tippa Liquid pearlsiä.

It's Mother's Day today in Finland and I've got a couple of Mother's Day cards to show you, this first went to my Mum. The stamps I used are the gorgeous Spring Flowers by Simon Says Stamp, I heat embossed them in white and coloured with Distress Markers. The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink. The background paper is by Kaisercraft, and as embellies I used some twine and a few tiny drops of Liquid Pearls.

Kukkapaperiin stanssasin ympyräaukon ja laitoin taustalle keltaista paperia, koristeiksi lisäsin muutaman puolihelmen.

The second card went to my Mother-In-Law. I used the same Spring Flowers stamps for this card and coloured them with Distress Markers as well before fussycutting them out. I stamped the sentiment (by Simon Says Stamp) on a fish-tail banner. The lovely flowery background paper is by Kaisercraft, I diecut a circle window onto it and placed some yellow paper behind it. As embellies I used some sticky back pearls.

Kukkia - Flowers

Tämäkin oli tilauskortti, tällä kertaa 64 vuotta täyttävälle naiselle. Leimakuvana tässä käytin Penny Blackin ihanaa Scented Messagea, jonka väritin Distress Markereilla ja stanssasin Simonin ommelreunastansseilla. Bannerin stanssasin My Favorite Thingsin stanssilla ja leimasin siihen FinnStamperin tekstin. Taustalla on hieman kultapaperia ja Lili of the Valley'n kuviopaperia. Koristeina muutama minipaljetti ja hieman narua ja pari pientä helmeä.

I was asked to make a birthday card for a lady turning 64 and this is what I came up with. I chose to use 'Scented Message' by Penny Black as my stamped image, and I coloured it with Distress Markers and die cut it with a Simon Says Stamp stitched edge die. I die cut the fishtail banner with a My Favorite Things die and stamped the sentiment on it (it says something like 'Congratulations on your special day' in Finnish). For the background, I used some golden glitter paper and some patterned paper by Lili of the Valley. As embellies, there are some tiny sequins, a bit of twine and a couple of tiny beads on the twine.

Jannu - Dude

Idea tähän korttiin lähti tuosta taustapaperista. Tein synttärikorttia 12 vuotta täyttävälle pojalle ja halusin siihen vähän räväkkyyttä, joten valitsin tuollaisen "räjähdyskuviopaperin" (Echo Parkia). Leimakuva on Tiddly Inksiä (My Boys) ja väritin sen Distress Markereilla. Stanssasin leimakuvan Simon Says Stampin ommelreunastanssilla. Nuo pienemmät "räjähdykset" stanssasin Sizzixin Starburst-stanssilla ja leimasin niihin Lawn Fawnin aakkosilla tekstin ja numerot. Lisäksi hieman enamel dotseja.

I needed to make a birthday card for a boy turning 12 and I wanted the card to look energetic and happy and boyish so I decided to use a really funky background paper (by Echo Park). The stamped image is by Tiddly Inks (from the "My Boys" set), I coloured it with Distress Markers and die cut it with the stitched edge die by Simon Says Stamp. I die cut a couple of "explosions" with a Sizzix die ("Starburst") and stamped the sentiment and the numbers on them with Lawn Fawn stamps. To finish the card off, I used some enamel dots.

Hämmentyneesti 40 - 40 and bewildered

Mieheni täytti 40 kesällä ja tein hänelle tällaisen kortin. Tuo Penny Blackin Oscar näyttää jotenkin hyvin hämmentyneeltä, joten ajattelin, että hän sopisi hyvin tällaiseen hämmästelykorttiin... :D Oscar on Copiceilla väritetty ja taas osittain stanssattu Simon Says Stampin ommelreunastanssilla. Numeron ja kirjaimet on stanssattu Timpan stanssilla. Lisänä hieman kuviopaperia, nyöriä ja muutama enamel dotsi. Siinäpä se, hämmentynyt Oscar!

My husband turned 40 during the summer and I made him this card. 'Oscar' (a stamp by Penny Black) looks kind of bewildered so I thought he might suit this card very well :D I coloured Oscar with my Copics and partially die cut him with a stitched edge die by Simon Says Stamp. The numbers and letters I die cut with a Tim Holtz die. There's some patterned paper (by Authentique, if I remember correctly), a bit of twine and some enamel dots as well. And there it is, a birthday card for my husband (who luckily understands my humour very well! :D )

Aurinkoisia kukkia - Sunny flowers

Kukilla jatketaan. Tämä oli tilauskortti, joka tilattiin tsemppikortiksi kovia uutisia saaneelle. En tiedä, onko positiivisempia kukkia kuin auringonkukat, joten leimaksi valitsin tämän Stampendousin kukkaleiman (vaikka tarkemmin katsottuna en ole varma, ovatko nämä auringonkukkia vai punahattuja... no, kauniita ja iloisia ovat kuitenkin ja se kai on tässä pääasia). Kukat väritin Copiceilla ja stanssasin osittain Simon Says Stampin ommelreunastanssilla. Tekstileima on myös Simonia. Taustapaperi on Lili of the Valley'ä ja koristeina hieman leipurinnyöriä ja muutama timantti.

I've another flower card to show you today. This one was a commission card and it is for someone who has had some tough news lately. I wanted to go happy yet elegant with my card so I chose this flower stamp by Stampendous (I've always thought these are sunflowers but looking at them now, they might just be Echinacea.. Well, whatever they are, they're pretty and happy and that's what matters here, right?). I coloured the stamped image with my Copics and partially die cut it out with a stitched edge die by Simon Says Stamp. The sentiment is by Simon Says Stamp as well. The background paper is by Lili of the Valley (I just love this yellow-purple colour combination at the moment :) ) and as embellies there are some baker's twine and a few rhinestones.

Taustapaperia stanssasin WPlus9:n stanssilla ja tähdet Lawn Fawnin tähtistansseilla. Paperit taitavat olla sekalaista seurakuntaa.

I made this birthday card for a boy following the sketch over at Mojo Monday Card Sketch Challenge. I used a Tiddly Inks stamp and coloured the image with my Copics (still practicing with them so don't look too closely... ;) ). The stitched edge dies I used to die cut the image and the green patterned paper are by Simon Says Stamp, and I used a die by WPlus9 to die cut the little gap in the background paper. The stars are die cut with Lawn Fawn dies, and the numbers with a Tim Holtz die (lots of die cutting going on in this card! :) ).

Leluvene - Sailing Boat

Poikamainen synttärikortti olisi tarjolla näytille tällä kertaa. Leimakuva on LOTV:n, väritin sen Distress Markereilla ja stanssasin Simonin ommelreunaisella stanssilla. Taustalle leimasin Heron Canvas Stripe -taustaleiman, tekstin leimasin vellumvyötteeseen ja koristeeksi laitoin stanssatun tähden, napin ja vähän nyöriä.

I have a birthday card for a boy to show you today. I made this using Lili of the Valley's lovely 'Sailing Boat' stamp, and I coloured the image with Distress Markers. I used Simon Says Stamp's stitched edge die to die cut the image out, stamped the sentiment (it says 'Congrats' in Finnish) onto a vellum banner and attached the whole thing onto the background onto which I had stamped the stripes with a Hero Arts stamp. I kept the embellishments to a minimum and only used a die cut star with a button and some twine.

Aina ja ikuisesti - Always and Forever

Tein hääkortin ihan pelkästään embossaamalla. Taustalla käytin Magnolian Love Heart -leimaa, jonka embossasin kullalla valkoiselle kartongille. Vellum-vyötteeseen embossasin niinikään kullalla sanat 'Always Forever' Simon Says Stampin Always&Forever-setistä. Lopuksi kerrostin leimakuvan kultaiselle kartongille ja kiinnitin korttipohjaan. Kortista tuli melko yksinkertainen mutta toivottavasti myös tyylikäs - ainakin olen siihen itse melko tyytyväinen :)

I made a simple wedding card with heat embossing only. I stamped the 'Love Heart' stamp by Magnolia onto some white cardstock and heat embossed it with gold powder. I also heat embossed in gold onto vellum the words 'Always Forever' from the Simon Says Stamp stamp set called 'Always&Forever'. Then I simply matted the cardstock onto some gold cardstock and attached it all to the card base. The card is very clean&simple, and I'm actually so pleased with how it turned out :)
