Happy, happy, joy, joy!

Ystävälle lähti tämä onnittelukortti. Käytin siihen kukkaleimaa Paper Smoochesin Best Buds -setistä ja väritin leimakuvan Copiceilla. Taustan "lehtiönsivu" on stanssattu Paper Smoochesin stanssilla, tekstileima on Papertrey Inkiä. Paperit KaiserCraftia, lisänä muutama glitteri enamel dotsi ja hopeasuihkeen roiske taustalla.

I made this card for a friend to congratulate her on achieving something amazing :) I used these happy flowers from the 'Best Buds' set by Paper Smooches and coloured them with my Copics. I used the Note Book Basics die by Paper Smooches to die cut the note book pages in the background. The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink and the patterned papers by KaiserCraft. I also added some glittery enamel dots and some splashes from silver spray mist to finish the card.

Flowers - Kukkia

Pari kukkakorttia eri väreissä. Leimakuva on Clearly Besottedin ja Copiceilla väritetty, paperit ovat Lili of the Valley'ä ja koristeina doilyjä ja puolitimantteja.

I have a couple of cards to show you today. I needed to make some birthday cards and decided to go with the same design and just change the colours. The stamped image is by Clearly Besotted (I love that flower! :) ) which I coloured with my Copics. The patterned papers are by Lili of the Valley and as embellies there's just some doilies and stickyback pearls. The sentiment says 'Happy Birthday' in Finnish.

Kakkupaperia ja heippoja - Hello

Tein kortin blogiystävälleni Patricialle ja nyt, kun se on hänellä perillä, voin blogata sen. Muutaman mutkan ja yrityksen kautta kortista sukeutui melko yksinkertainen (no yllätys..! ;) ) ja leimakuvaton (no se on yllätys! ;) ). Käytin tähän Penny Blackin Playful Posies -stanssia ja Paper Smoochesin polaroid-stanssia, Lawn Fawnin aakkosleimoja, nauhaa, nappia ja kakkupaperia.

I made a card for my bloggy friend Patricia. After several tries I ended up making a card without a stamped and coloured image, which is a bit unusual for me, I guess. But I think it turned out quite nice :) I used the Penny Black die 'Playful Posies' for the flowers and die cut the polaroid frame with a Paper Smooches die. I stamped the sentiment with Lawn Fawn alphabet stamps and added a bit of twine, a button and a doily to finish the card.

Jouluenkeli - Christmas angel

Eka joulukortti tälle vuodelle! Ajoissa ollaan siis taas... ;) Käytin tähän tuota Lili of the Valley'n ihanaa, ihanaa enkeliä, jonka väritin Distress Markereilla ja leikkasin irti. Kiinnitin sen kohotarroilla korttipohjaan, jonka tein Papertrey Inkin stanssilla stanssaamalla (näyttää vähän lumihiutaleelta, eikö?) ja papereina käytin LOTV:n kuviopapereita (Snow Princess ja Snow Princess Solids). Tekstileima vellumbannerille ja koristeeksi glitterihiutale (Penny Blackin stanssilla stanssattu) ja jokunen paljetti. Siinäpä se :)

I  made my first Christmas card for this year! There's still plenty of time to make them, right...? *trying hard not to panic* ;) I used one of my favourite Christmas stamps for this card, it's Lili of the Valley's 'Christmas Angel Flying'. She's so sweet! I coloured her with my Distress Markers, fussy cut her out and attached with some foam adhesives. I wanted to make a shaped card so I diecut my card blank with a Papertrey Ink die (it looks like a snowflake, doesn't it?). I used patterned papers by LOTV, from the 'Snow Princess' and 'Snow Princess Solids' paper pads. I then stamped my sentiment on a vellum banner (it says 'Christmas peace' in Finnish) and as embellies I used a glitter snowflake (diecut with a Penny Black die) and some sequins.

Kalassa - Gone Fishing

Veljenpoikani täytti 11 vuotta tuossa joku aika sitten ja tein hänelle tällaisen kortin. Leimakuva on Lili of the Valley'n Gone Fishing, jonka väritin Distress Markereilla. Stanssasin leimakuvan ja sinisen paperin sen taakse Spellbindersin stansseilla ja taustapaperiksi käytin Dovecraftin kuviopaperia. Tekstileiman leimasin vellum-banneriin (stanssattu My Favorite Thingsin stanssilla) ja kiinnitin puisella pienellä pyykkipojalla. Numerot stanssasin Memory Boxin stanssilla.

One of my nephews turned 11 some time ago and I made him this card. I used a Lili of the Valley stamp called Gone Fishing and coloured the stamped image with Distress Markers. Then I die cut the image and the blue paper behind it with some Spellbinders' dies and used a patterned paper by Dovecraft for the background. I stamped my sentiment ('Congrats!' in Finnish) on a vellum banner die cut with My Favorite Things' die and attached it with a little wooden clothes peg. The numbers are die cut with Memory Box dies. Hope you like the card!

Hääkortti - A Wedding Card

Tässä on toinen vaihtoehto edellisessä postauksessa mainitsemaani hääkorttitilaukseen. Käytin tässä tuota ihanaa Lili of the Valleyn hääparia, jonka värittelin Distress Markereilla. Stanssasin leimakuvan ja sen taustan tuollaisella "holvikaaristanssilla" ja lisäsin siihen koristeeksi Memory Boxin stanssilla stanssaamani köynnöksen. Taustapaperi on niinikään LOTV:ia, tekstileiman embossasin kultaisella jauheella (näkyy tuossa kuvassa hieman huonosti). Lisänä vielä muutama pieni tippa kultaista Liquid Pearlsia.

I mentioned in my previous post that I was asked to make a wedding card, this is the second card I made. I used the cute Lili of the Valley wedding couple stamp and coloured the stamped image with Distress Markers. I then partially die cut the image with some dies and added the die cut Memory Box wreaths as embellishment. The patterned papers are by LOTV as well. The sentiment doesn't show up in the picture too well but it is heat embossed with golden powder. I also added a few tiny drops of golden Liquid Pearls to the image.

Rakkaustirpat - Love Birds

Ja taas söpöstelyä! Minulta tilattiin hääkortti ja tein pari vaihtoehtoa, joista valita, tässä niistä ensimmäinen. Leimasin oksan ja tirpat Purple Onion Designsin leimoilla ja väritin Distress Markereilla. Levitin myös hieman sinistä Distress Inkiä taivaaksi ja lisäsin kirkasta Wink of Stellaa kukkiin. Tekstin stanssasin Penny Blackin stanssilla ja siihenkin lisäsin kerroksen Wink of Stellaa, sydämet on stanssattu Simon Says Stampin stanssilla. Lisäksi hieman kuviopaperia kaapin perukoilta ja kortti oli valmis.

I was asked to make a wedding card and I decided to make a couple to choose from, this is the first one. I used some Purple Onion Designs stamps for this, and coloured the image with Distress Markers. I also added some clear Wink of Stella to the little flowers and some blue Distress Ink to the sky. I die cut the word Love with a Penny Black die (it actually says 'With love' but I just left the 'with' out) and added some Wink of Stella to it, too. The little hearts are die cut with a Simon Says Stamp die. Then I added a couple of strips of patterned paper to the card and it was done. CAS and cute, again :)
