Robotti - Robot

Tässä simppeli 10 vuotta täyttäneelle veljenpojalle mennyt kortti. Taittelin korttipohjan vesivärikartongista, leimasin siihen tuon Tim Holtzin robotin, maskasin sen ja leimasin taustalle Marianne Designin leimalla. Väritys Distress Markereilla, tekstileima ja leimatut numerot ja lisäksi vielä tippaset mustaa enamel accentsia ja siinäpä se.

I made this birthday card for my nephew who turned 10. I folded the card out of watercolour cardstock, stamped the Tim Holtz robot onto it, masked the robot and stamped the background. I then coloured the image with Distress Markers, stamped the sentiment and the numbers and added drops of black enamel dots to finish the card.

Ystävälle - For a Friend

Tein tämän kortin My Favorite Thingsin värihaasteeseen ja CASEsin siinä itseäni :D malli on siis sama kuin tuossa edellisessä kortissä. Tässä kortissa käytin pieniä kukkasia My Favorite Thingsin Polynesian Paradise -setistä, väritin ne Copiceilla ja kiinnitin korttiin, nuo alemmat kohotarroilla. Taustalle stanssasin ikkunan My Favorite Thingsin stanssilla ja keskelle istutin palan kuviopaperia ja muutaman Nuvo Crystal Drops -tipan. Sitten vain tekstileima ja korttipohjaan kiinni.

I made this card for My Favorite Things' Colour Challenge #70 and decided to CASE myself in it :D the layout here is the same as in my previous card. For this card, I used the cute little flowers from the 'Polynesian Paradise' set by My Favorite Things and coloured them with my Copics. For the background I used the 'Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window' die by MFT and added a piece of patterned paper to the middle. The sentiment says 'For a Friend' in Finnish and as embellishments there are some drops of Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Kettu repolainen - Fox

Kevät on meillä varsinaista synttäriaikaa, on veljenpoikien ja oman pojan synttäreitä, joten poikakortteja tulee tehtyä. Tässä 10 vuotta täyttäneelle veljenpojalle tehty kortti, jonka hänelle antoivat isovanhempansa. Leimakuvana tässä on DoodleFactoryn kettu, jonka väritin Copiceilla, leikkasin irti ja kiinnitin tarrapaloilla. Taustalle stanssasin ikkunan My Favorite Thingsin Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window -stanssilla ja sen keskustaan lisäsin palan kuviopaperia. Lisänä vain stanssatut numerot ja onnitteluteksti.

In my family, spring is the time of birthdays. Three of my four nephews have their birthday in spring as does my son, so I make a lot of boy cards! I made this card for my nephew who turned 10, it was given to him by his grandparents. I stamped the DoodleFactory fox, coloured him with my Copics, fussy cut him out and attached with foam adhesives. For the background I die cut the window using 'Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window' die by My Favorite Things and added a piece of patterned paper to it. I then added the die cut numbers and the sentiment ('Congrats!' in Finnish).

Kukkakimppu - A Bunch of Flowers

Ja taas kukkaa pukkaa kortissa, jonka tein muutamaan haasteeseen. Leimakuvana tässä on Paper Smoochesin ihana kukkakimppu Best Buds -setistä, jonka väritin Copiceilla, stanssasin irti ja kiinnitin tarrapaloilla. Lisänä on kultakartongista stanssattu ympyrä (kyllä se on kultakartonkia, vaikka kovin tummalta kuvassa näyttääkin... ;) ), kullalla embossattu teksti ja muutama kultainen enamel dotsi. Ja kuviopaperia. Siinäpä se, taas kerran :)

And once again I have a flower card to show you, I made this card for a few challenges in mind. The stamped and die cut image is the sweet bunch of flowers from the 'Best Buds' set by Paper Smooches which I coloured with my Copics and attached with foam adhesives. I also added my sentiment ('Congrats' in Finnish) heat embossed with gold, a circle frame die cut out of gold foil cardstock (I know it looks really dark in the photo, but it is gold foil - I'm just crap at photographing! :D ) and some gold enamel dots.

Kultahääpäivä - Golden Anniversary

Äitienpäivän lisäksi tänään on erityinen juhlapäivä, sillä vanhempani juhlivat kultahääpäiväänsä - 50 vuotta naimisissa! Tämän erityisen merkkipaalun kunniaksi halusin tehdä heille kortin ja kortissa tietysti täytyi olla kultaa :) Leimasin Altenew'n Best Mom -setin kukkasen ruskealla musteella, väritin Twinkling H2O -vesiväreillä ja leimasin sitten uudestaan Delicatan kultamusteella. Näin sain leimakuvan ääriviivoihin kauniin kultaisen kimalteen. Myös tekstileiman leimasin tuolla Delicatan kullalla. Taustapaneelin raosta pilkistää myös kultaa ja pienet pisteet tein kultaisella Sticklesillä. Kultaa siis löytyy! :)

Today is Mother's Day but in addition to that, it's a very special day today as my parents celebrate their Gold Anniversary - that's 50 years of marriage! It's such a special achievement that I wanted to make a special card for them - using lots of gold, of course! I used the gorgeous flower stamp from 'Best Mom' set by Altenew, stamped it first in brown ink, then watercoloured it using Twinkling H2Os and then I stamped it again using Delicata gold ink. It gave such a beautiful golden shimmer to the stamped image! I also stamped the sentiment with the same Delicata ink. I have a bit of gold peeping from behind the panel in my card and I also used golden Stickles to make tiny dots around the flower. So there's a lot of gold in this card for my parents!

Heippa aurinkoinen - Hello, Sunshine

Lainasin tähän korttiin My Favorite Thingsin Polynesian Paradise  -setin liskoleimaa ystävältäni Nonnilta (lisko ystävineen esiintyy varmasti jatkossakin korteissani, sillä Nonni ystävällisesti myi minulle tuon itselleen tarpeettoman setin :) ). Väritin liskon Copiceilla ja sen taustalle leimasin ympyrän Altenew'n Halftone Circles -setin leimalla. Stanssasin paneelin irti Simon Says Stampin ommelreunastanssilla ja kiinnitin korttipohjaan. Tekstileima on myös tuosta Polynesian Paradise -setistä ja lisänä vain jokunen enamel dots.

I made this card using the funny little lizard (or is he a gecko?) from My Favorite Stamps' 'Polynesian Paradise' stamp set that I borrowed from my friend Nonni (and later on she kindly agreed to sell the stamp set to me so this little lizard/gecko and his friends will be making appearances on my cards later on too - yay! :) ). I coloured the lizard with my Copics and stamped the circle behind him with a stamp from Altenew's 'Halftone Circles' set. I then die cut the panel with Simon Says Stamps stitched edge rectangles die and adhered to my card base. The sentiment comes from the 'Polynesian Paradise' set and as embellishments I added some enamel dots.

Pionit - Peonies

Kukkakortti taas kerran ;) Ihastuin tähän Mama Elephantin Pretty Peonies -settiin ensinäkemältä ja minä kun en voi vastustaa kauniita kukkaleimasimia, niin setti löysi kodin luotani :) Tätä korttia varten maskasin nuo kukat ja lehden ja väritin ne Copiceilla. Paneelin stanssasin irti Simon Says Stampin ommelreunastansseilla ja kerrostin sen kartongille ja Lawn Fawnin paperille. Tekstileima on FinnStamperilta ja koristeina muutama paljetti.

I love floral stamps and as soon as I saw the 'Pretty Peonies' set by Mama Elephant I knew I would be giving a loving home to it ;)  For this card, I masked and stamped the flowers and leaves and coloured them with my Copics. I die cut the panel with Simon Says Stamp's stitched edge die and matted it onto some cardstock and then onto patterned paper by Lawn Fawn. The sentiment says 'Congrats' in Finnish. As embellishments, I added only some sequins.
