Vaasillinen kukkia - Bouquet

Mitä kovemmaksi pakkanen kiristyy, sitä enemmän minä teen kukkakortteja! Tai siltä ainakin tuntuu.. :D Tämän kortin  kukkakimppu on Penny Blackin Centerpiece, aivan ihana vaasillinen kukkia. Väritin sen Zigeillä, stanssasin siihen kehykset Pennyn stansseilla ja laitoin vellumvyötteen, johon leimasin tekstin. Taustalla Lili of the Valleyn kuviopaperia ja koristeina jokunen paljetti.

It's really cold here (around -20 degrees) and spring seems so far off - thus I'm making cards with flowers! Hoping to see real ones soon though.. These flowers are called 'Centerpiece', an absolutely gorgeous stamp by Penny Black. I coloured it with my Zigs, die cut the frame with Penny Black's 'Antique Frame' dies and added my sentiment on a vellum banner (it says something like 'Birthday Wishes' in Finnish). I added a piece of Lili of the Valley patterned paper on the background and just a few tiny sequins.

Synttärionnea - Birthday Wishes

Tein synttärikortin Paper Smoochesin leimoilla, leimat ovat setistä Natural Beauties. Väritin leimakuvat Copiceilla ja kiinnitin pohjaan, päällimmäinen keltainen kukka on kohotarralla. Taustan paperin stanssasin MFT:n stanssilla ja tekstileiman leimasin myös MFT:n stanssilla stanssattuun banneriin. Koko komeus sitten kraftin väriseen korttipohjaan ja se oli siinä :)

I made this little birthday card with my new Paper Smooches stamps, they're from the set called 'Natural Beauties'. I coloured the images with my Copics and attached them on the background paper, the yellow flower on the front is attached with foam adhesives so it is a bit raised. I stamped my sentiment on a banner die cut with an MFT die and I die cut the patterned paper in the background also with an MFT die. I chose to use kraft coloured card base as I thought it might accentuate the colours nicely.

Kukkaketo - A Field of Flowers

Tässä vaiheessa talvea iskee aina hirveä kevään kaipuu ja sitä lievittääkseni olen tehnyt jokusen kukkakortin. Tämän tein taannoiseen CAS(E) This Sketch! -haasteeseen, mutta missasin deadlinen... Tässä se nyt kuitenkin on. Väritin Distress Markereilla suoraan leimaan (Penny Blackin Nature's Paintbrushes) ja suihkin vettä perään ennen kuin leimasin vesiväripaperille. Kuvan kuivuttua roiskin kultasuihketta siveltimellä siihen päälle. Koko paneelin stanssasin taas MFT:n stanssilla ja saman valmistajan stanssilla stanssasin myös tuon bannerin, johon leimasin tekstileiman. Koristeeksi pari paljettia ja korttipohjaan kiinni.

We're still in the middle of winter here (and will be for some time still... :/ ) but I'm missing spring so much that I feel the need to make flower cards. I made this card following a recent sketch over at CAS(E) This Sketch! but I missed the deadline... Here's the card anyway. I coloured with my Distress Markers straight onto the stamp (it's 'Nature's Paintbrushes' by Penny Black), spritzed it with some water and stamped on watercolour card that I had die cut with an MFT die. After the image was dry, I splattered it with some gold spray using my paintbrush. The banner is die cut with an MFT die as well and I stamped my sentiment on it (it says 'Congrats' in Finnish). I used a couple of sequins to finish the card.

Lintuset - Birdies

Ystävänpäiväkortilla jatketaan taas. Leimailin tähän noita suloisia Clearly Besottedin lintuja pönttöineen Happy Bird-day -setistä ja väritin Zigeillä. Vähän Distress Inkiä reunoille tuohon MFT:n stanssilla stanssattuun paneeliin, Dekoretten tekstileima myöskin MFT:n stanssilla stanssattuun banneriin, vähän kuviopaperia ja nappia. Niin, ja Nuvo Dropsia.

I made this friendship card for a crafty friend of mine. The stamps I used are from the 'Happy Bird-day' set by Clearly Besotted (those little birdies are so cute! :) ), I coloured the image with my Zig Markers. I die cut the panel with a MFT die and sponged some Distress Ink on the edges. I then stamped my sentiment ('For a Friend' in Finnish) on a banner die cut with a MFT die as well, added a bit of patterned paper to the background and finished the card with a button and some Nuvo Drops.

Minä sinua vain - I Love You

Tällaisen ystävänpäiväkortin tein miehelleni. My Favorite Thingsin stanssilla stanssattuun paneeliin leimasin Concord&9th:n Lacy Leaf -setin leimalla "taustan", johon puolestaan leimasin tekstin Simon Says Stampin setistä Sail Away. Koristeeksi riitti yksi sydän (stanssattu Lawn Fawnin stanssilla). Sitten vain korttipohjaan kiinni. Simppeli linja jatkuu :D

I made this Valentine's Day card for my husband. I die cut the white panel with a My Favorite Things die and stamped the background with a stamp from the 'Lacy Leaf' set by Concord&9th. I then stamped my sentiment from the set 'Sail Away' by Simon Says Stamp. I only added one single heart as embellishment, die cut with a Lawn Fawn die. Then I just adhered the panel to the card base. Quite CAS! :D

Ruusu - Rose

Ystävänpäiväkorteilla jatketaan. Ruusu on DoodleFactoryn leima, väritin sen Copiceilla ja leikkasin irti. Leimasin Dekoretten tekstin My Favorite Thingsin stanssilla stanssattuun banneriin ja laitoin taustalle kuviopaperia ja piparkakkureunaisen kehyksen (MFT:n stanssi sekin). Lisäksi vain muutama enamel dotsi.

This is another card I made for a friend. The stamp I used is by DoodleFactory (it's an oldie but goodie :) ), I coloured the image with my Copics and fussy cut it out. I stamped my sentiment ('For a Friend') on a banner die cut with a My Favorite Things die, the dark brown frame is also die cut with a MFT die. I adhered it all on a piece of patterned paper and my card base and added a few enamel dots to finish the card.

Ystävälle - Dear Friend

Tämän ystävänpäiväkortin tein Nonni-ystävälle ja uskallan sen jo näyttää, kun se saapui jo tänään perille. Leimakuvana tässä on Waffle Flowerin ihana karhu pikkupyörineen setistä Happy Day. Väritys taas Zigeillä, vähän geelikynää poskissa ja Nuvo Dropsia kukkien seassa. Taustan paneelin stanssasin My Favorite Thingsin stanssilla ja mustetin Distress Oxide -musteella, perään roiskin vähän vettä. Stanssattu teksti on Create a Smilen stanssilla stanssattu ja leimattu teksti on WPlus9:n Modern Anemones -setistä. Lisäksi vielä muutama stanssattu sydän (Lawn Fawn) ja korttipohjaan kiinni.

I made this friendship card for my dear friend Nonni, I heard it arrived today so I can show it here. The stamped and die cut image is from the 'Happy Day' set by Waffle Flower (I love it how serene he looks riding his little bike! :) ), I coloured it with my Zig Markers and added a dot of gel pen to his cheeks and tiny drops of Nuvo Drops among the flowers. The pink panel is die cut with a My Favorite Things die and then inked with Distress Oxide. I splashed a few drops of water to it. I added my sentiment, the die cut word is by Create a Smile and the stamped one is from the 'Modern Anemones' set by WPlus9. I also added some die cut hearts (Lawn Fawn) to the card.
