Kukkaset - Flowers

Color Throwdown -haasteessa oli sen verran näpsäkät värit, että innostuin tekemään niillä kortin. Ja kun kerran tein, tein toisen samaan syssyyn eri väreillä :) Leimat ovat Altenew'n Billowing Blossoms -setistä ja musteet Simon Says Stampin ja Hero Artsin. Tekstin leimailin Concord&9th:n aakkosleimoilla.

Color Throwdown challenge has such yummy colours this week that I wanted to make a card with them. And while I was at it, I made another one with different colours :) The stamps come from the 'Billowing Blossoms' set by Altenew and the inks I used are by Simon Says Stamp and Hero Arts. I stamped the sentiment ('Congrats' in Finnish) with the letters from 'Perfectly Penned' set by Concord&9th.

6-vuotiaalleni - For my 6-year-old

Nuorimmainen täytti kuluneella viikolla 6 vuotta ja tein hänelle tällaiset kortit. Ensimmäisen kortin annoimme me ja toisen isovanhempansa. Ensimmäisessä on leimakuvana Tiddly Inksin poika setistä My Super Boy. Väritin sen Copiceilla ja leikkasin irti. Taustan siniseen paperiin ja vihreään banneriin leimasin Neat and Tangledin Time Warp -leimalla, lisäksi hieman mustaa kartonkia, kuviopaperia ja tähtikoriste.

My youngest son turned 6 this past week and I made him these cards. We gave him the first card and his grandparents gave him the second one. For the first card I used the cute boy from the set 'My Super Boy' by Tiddly Inks. I coloured him with my Copics and fussy cut him out. I attached him with foam adhesives. I stamped the blue paper and the green banner with 'Time Warp' stamp by Neat and Tangled, used a bit of black cardstock, some patterned paper and a star brad to finish the card. 

Toiseen korttiin käytin High Hopesin Sir Dustin -leimaa, jonka väritin myös Copiceilla, stanssasin MFT:n stansseilla ja kerrostin siniselle kartongille. Taustalle kuviopaperia ja ainoaksi koristeeksi iso Tim Holtzin stanssilla stanssattu kutonen.

For the second card I used a stamp called 'Sir Dustin' by High Hopes. I coloured it with my Copics, die cut with an MFT die and matted it onto some blue cardstock. For the background I used a bit of patterned paper and finished the card with a big die cut 6.

Penny Black: Ruusuja ja rakkautta - Roses and love

Ruusuja ja rakkautta tässä kortissa! Leimakuvana tässä on Penny Blackin ihana Rose Bowl, jonka väritin Gansai Tambi -vesiväreillä, leikkasin irti ja kiinnitin kohotarroilla. Taustalle stanssasin kehyksen Ribbon Stackers -setin stanssilla ja laitoin hieman kuviopaperia Painted Blooms -paperikosta. Tekstileima on Happy Snippets -setistä.

Roses and lots of love, that is what my card is made of! The stamped image I used is the gorgeous 'Rose Bowl' by Penny Black. I coloured it with my Gansai Tambi watercolours and fussy cut it out. I used foam adhesives to adhere it. For the background I die cut a frame using a die from the 'Ribbon Stackers' set. I also used a piece of patterned paper from the 'Painted Blooms' paper pad. The sentiment comes from the 'Happy Snippets' set.

The Flower Challenge #28: Muistutus - Reminder

The Flower Challengessä on menossa vuoden ensimmäinen haaste ja aiheena on värit pinkki ja harmaa. Omaan korttiini käytin Altenew'n Cherished Memories -leimoja, väritin ne Copiceilla. Teksti on stanssattu Simply Graphicin stanssilla, taustalla on kuviopaperia ja koristeena taas jokunen paljetti.

The first challenge of the year is in full swing over at The Flower Challenge and we have a colour combo for you to use: pink and grey. For my card, I used the 'Cherished Memories' stamps by Altenew which I coloured with my Copics. The sentiment is die cut with a Simply Graphic die. For the background I used some patterned paper and I embellished my card with some sequins.

Vielä ehtii osallistua haasteeseen, aikaa on 25.1. asti.

Kimppu - Bouquet

Altenew'n leimalla syntyi tämä kortti. Ruusukimppu on Forever and Always -setistä ja väritin sen Polychromoksilla. Taustalle stanssasin kehyksen Altenew'n stanssilla. Lisäksi hieman kuviopaperia, tekstileima ja jokunen paljetti.

This gorgeous floral bouquet is from the 'Forever and Always' set by Altenew. I coloured it with my Polychromos pencils. I die cut the frame with a die by Altenew and added a bit of patterned paper for the background. The sentiment says 'For You'. As embellishments, I used some clear sequins.

Pioni - Peony

Simppeli CAS-kortti syntyi tällä Stampendousin ihanalla Peony Spray -leimalla. Väritin leimakuvan Copiceilla ja leikkasin sen irti. Kiinnitin Altenew'n Fine Frames Rectangles -stanssilla stanssatun kehyksen suoraan korttipohjaan, leimasin tekstin ja kiinnitin kukan. Koristeeksi jokunen timantti.

I made a simple CAS card with the gorgeous 'Peony Spray' stamp by Stampendous. I coloured the image with my Copic Markers and fussy cut it out. I die cut the frame with Altenew's 'Fine Frames Rectangles' die, attached it to the card base and stamped my sentiment (it says 'Congratulations' in Finnish). I then attached the peony to the card base and added some sticky back rhinestones as my embellishments.
