Höyhenet - Feathers

Tämä kortti syntyi parin eri haasteen innoittamana: CAS(E) This Sketchista tuli luonnos ja Less Is Moresta tuli värit. Höyhenet on leimattu Create a Smilen Funky Feathers -setin leimoilla, väritin ne Copiceilla. Taustalle mustetin kevyesti suorakulmion Distress Oxide -musteella. Tekstileima on Papertrey Inkin. Koristeiksi laitoin muutaman pienen timantin.

I made this card for a couple of challenges: took the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch and the colours from Less Is More. The feathers I used are from the 'Funky Feathers' set by Create a Smile, I coloured them with my Copics. For the background I did a bit of masking and brushed some Distress Oxide ink to create a soft rectangle. The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink and as embellishments I used a few clear rhinestones.

Oot ihan paras! - You're just the best!

Tämä kortti syntyi Create a Smilen ihanalla aloe-leimalla, joka löytyy Sharp One -setistä. Väritin sen Copiceilla ja leikkasin irti. Ikkunan stanssasin MFT:n stanssilla ja taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia. Tekstileima on Papertrey Inkin.

I made this card with the sweet little aloe plant stamp by Create a Smile, it's from their set 'Sharp One'. I coloured it with my Copics and fussy cut it out. I die cut the window with an MFT die and placed some patterned paper behind it. The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink.

The Flower Challenge #29

The Flower Challengessä pyörähtää käyntiin uusi haaste ja tällä kertaa toivomme kukkakorttia, jonka olet tehnyt uusimmalla leimallasi tai stanssillasi. Yksi uusimpia leimojani on Hero Artsin Nasturtium, jota päätin käyttää tähän korttiin. Väritin leimakuvan Polychromos-kynillä, taustaan leimasin MFT:n Typewriter Text Background -leimalla ja Versamark-musteella ja kehykset stanssasin Penny Blackin Stitched Stackers -setin stanssilla.

A new challenge starts at The Flower Challenge and this time we're hoping for cards made with your latest floral stamps or dies. One of my latest stamps is 'Nasturtium' by Hero Arts and I used it for my DT card. I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils. For the background, I stamped 'Typewriter Text Background' stamp by My Favorite Things with Versamark ink and die cut the frame with 'Stitched Stackers' die  by Penny Black.

Kukkaset purkeissaan - Potted flowers

Lunta sataa ulkona valkoisenaan  mutta ainakin kortissa on kevään tuntua :) Nämä kukkaset ovat Penny Blackin Potted Flowers -leimasin, jonka leimasin suoraan vesivärikartongista taittelemaani korttipohjaan. Väritin leimakuvan Gansai Tambi -vesiväreillä ja mustetin reunoja Distress Oxide -musteella. Tekstileima on Penny Blackin Snippets-setistä ja sen embossasin valkoisella mustalle kartonkipalaselle. Lopuksi vain hieman nyöriä rusetille.

It's snowing outside but at least I have spring on my card :) The stamp I used is Penny Black's 'Potted Flowers' which I stamped straight onto card base that I folded out of watercolour cardstock. I coloured the image with my Gansai Tambi watercolours and sponged some Distress Oxide ink onto the edges. The sentiment I used is from 'Snippets' set by Penny Black, I heat embossed it in white onto a strip of black cardstock. Lastly, I added some twine to finish the card.

Kosmoskukka - Cosmos flower

Tähän onnittelukorttiin käytin kukkaa Honey Bee Stampsin Cosmos-setistä ja väritin sen Copiceilla. Taustalle laitoin hieman kermanväristä kartonkia ja kuviopaperia, jonka reunan stanssasin Penny Blackin Curved Stitch -stanssilla. Lisäksi Dekoretten tekstileima.

For this birthday card I used a flower from Honey Bee Stamps set 'Cosmos'. I coloured it with my Copics. For the background I used some cream coloured cardstock and a piece of patterned paper that I die cut with 'Curved Stitch' die by Penny Black. I stamped my sentiment in black ink.

Purkillinen sydämiä - Mason jar of hearts

Jokusen haasteen innoittamana syntyi tämä kortti. Leimakuva on Stamping Bellan Mason Jar of Hearts, jonka väritin Altenew'n vesiväreillä ja leikkasin irti. Taustalle Lili of the Valleyn kuviopaperia ja MFT:n stanssilla stanssattu boordi. Lisäksi paljetteja.

I was inspired by a few challenges and made this Valentine's card. The stamped image is 'Mason Jar of Hearts' by Stamping Bella. I coloured it with my Altenew watercolours and fussy cut it out. For the background I used some patterned papers by Lili of the Valley die cut with MFT's stitched edge die and a border (die cut with an MFT die as well). Added some sequins to finish the card.
