How can a forthnight go by so fast? It was just yesterday that A Passion for Papertrey published their newest challenge and now there's only hours left to take part... Weird... ;) Well, anyways, the challenge is a recipe: 3 colours (+ possible neutrals), 2 buttons and 1 ribbon. For this card I die cut some flowers from felt using the PTI dies from the Beautiful Blooms II set and attached two buttons on top of each other as the centre. I then die cut the squares from turquoise and white cardstock with Spellbinders dies and stamped the turquoise squares with Hero Arts' stamp Graph Background as I did the piece of turquoise cardstock on the bottom of the card. I made the ribbon from yellow plastic mesh, I don't know what it's called in English but it's used for packaging, this particular mesh held together some sand toys my son got as a present. So I cut a long piece of that mesh and folded it in two and attached it to the flower. The sentiment, which says 'Congrats', I stamped with yellow Brilliance. I also used a couple of yellow rhinestones. So my 3 colours are turquoise-pink-yellow, the 2 buttons are on top of each other as the centre of the flower and the ribbon is the yellow plastic mesh. I'm not sure if this card will be accepted to the Passion for Papertrey challenge as there's quite a lot of white in it and the ribbon is not a "normal" ribbon - if this doesn't qualify, then please just ignore me, ladies! :)

Before I go I'll share with you my proud moment.. Kim Dellow at Crafty Makes posts a Sunday Round Up post on most Sundays and in those she e.g. mentions blogs that are worth hopping over to. And would you believe that she mentioned me and my blog in the most recent Sunday Round Up?! Me and my little blog! Oh my, I was so surprised and, if I may so say, a bit proud to be mentioned that I don't know which way to turn... I think I'll just print out that particular post and read it through on those not-so-fine-craft days ;)
