Penny Black Refreshing: Illustrious

I made a couple of cards with the gorgeous new floral stamp from the new Penny Black release called Refreshing. The stamp is called Illustrious.

The first card is a one-layer. I folded the card base out of watercolour cardstock and stamped the image on it before watercolouring it. After watercolouring I masked the upper right hand corner and sponged some Distress Oxide ink onto the cardbase. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the new Trust Me Builder sentiment set.

For the second card, I used some Copic friendly cardstock in kraft colour and stamped the background stamp Vintage Postcard onto it before stamping it with the Illustrious stamp. I coloured the image with my Copics and stamped a sentiment from the sentiment set Words of Encouragement onto it. I then matted the panel onto some purple cardstock before adhering it to my kraft coloured cardbase. I embellished the card with some sequins.
