Penny Black Saturday Challenge: May - Toukokuu

It is time for a new challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. The theme is Anything Goes (as long as it features a Penny Black product) with the optional theme of Nature. Our Guest Designer is the talented Loll.

I chose the optional theme and used a beautiful flower meadow stamp by Penny Black called Delight. I coloured the image with my Karin markers and die cut the panel with Penny Black's Semi-Circle Stackers die before mounting it onto a panel of dark blue cardstock. For the background, I used pale blue cardstock and created a bit of interest by adding a die cut (the die I used is by Penny Black and called Layered Leaves). I embellished the card with some half pearls. This time I didn't add any sentiment to the card as sometimes I find myself needing a simple card without any specific sentiment.

Käytin korttiini Penny Blackin ihanaa kukkaketoleimaa nimeltä Delight. Väritin leimakuvan Karin-tusseilla ja stanssasin paneelin Penny Blackin Semi-Circle Stackers -stanssilla. Taustalle laitoin vaaleansinistä kartonkia ja stanssatun koristeen (stanssattu Penny Blackin Layered Leaves -stanssilla). Tekstileimaa en tällä kertaa käyttänyt, mutta koristelin kortin puolihelmillä.
