Feathered Friends

I love bird stamps. This bird comes from the new Penny Black stamp set called Feathered Friends. There are actually two separate bird stamps in this set and they can be used together or on their own, as I've done here.

I coloured the image with my Copics. I die cut the panel with Semi-Circle Stackers die, left the die in place and sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Frayed Burlap on the panel. The sentiment I used is from the sentiment set Feeling of Christmas. I splattered the panel with some white acrylic paint before adhering it onto a piece of dark brown cardstock and then onto my card base

Antlers

I made these two Christmas cards with a new die set by Penny Black called Antlers from their latest release, Winter Collection.

For the first card, I die cut the deer out of glittery golden cardstock. I created the background by partially embossing my cardstock with a new embossing folder called Filigree. I then sponged some blue Distress Oxide to the upper part of the cardstock and splattered it with some gold ink. I heat embossed a sentiment from Jolly Snippets sentiment set on a strip of dark brown cardstock and adhered it in place. I then adhered the deer and embellished the card with some white half pearls.

For the second card, I stamped and masked the birch trees from the new stamp set Scenic Layers, the little bush is from the same stamp set. I then masked the rectangle and sponged some Distress Oxide inks to create the background. I splattered the background with some water and with some white acrylic paint. I very slightly coloured the birch trees with my Copics. I die cut the deer out of kraft coloured cardstock and sponged them lightly with some brown Distress Oxide ink. The snow bank is die cut with Rolling Hills die and the sentiment is from the All Is Bright stamp set.

Chilly Days

How adorable is this couple!? These snowmen are a new stamp by Penny Black from their latest release Winter Collection and it's called Chilly Days.

I coloured the image with my Copics adding a bit of white gel pen here and there. I then die cut the edge using a die from the set Spirited. Behind the die cut edge I placed a piece of cardstock sponged with Distress Oxide inks in Faded Jeans and Uncharted Mariner and splattered with water. My sentiment comes from the Christmas Sentiments set. I also used some Stick & Shine snowflakes from the Extraordinary sheet and foiled them with pink foil from the Classic Colors Multipack foil pack. Lastly, I added tiny white halfpearls to the snowflakes on the die cut edge.

Berry Basket

I made this card with some yummy new goodies from the latest release called Winter Collection 2023 by Penny Black. This cute tree with the basket is a new die and it's called Berry Basket.

I die cut the tree, the basket and the berries (or ornaments, depending on how you want to see them) and coloured them with my Copics (please note, the tree is in real life blueish green but for some reason it looks totally blue in the photo. Go figure.) I also added a bit of Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen to the berries/ornaments. I die cut the panel with Stitches of Love die, left the die in place and sponged Distress Oxide inks in Saltwater Taffy, Worn Lipstick and Festive Berries on the panel. The sentiment is from the Sweet Sledder stamp set. Before matting the panel onto some red cardstock, I splattered it with some white watered down acrylic paint. The cardstock in the background is embossed with the gorgeous new embossing folder called Filigree. After adhering everything in place (I adhered the panel onto a piece of craft foam before adhering it to the background), I embellished the card with a little bow of twine and some white half-pearls.

Beaming

I made this one-layer Christmas card with a Penny Black stamp called Beaming. I stamped the image on the panel and coloured it with my Copics, adding a bit of white gel pen here and there and some Stickles glitter glue to the Christmas lights. For the background, I used a stencil from the Penny Black stencil set Background Basics and sponged some Distress Oxide inks on the panel. I also used the gorgeous Penny Black Stick & Shine snowflakes from the set Extraordinary with some green foil from the foil set Classic Colours Multipack. Before splattering some white acrylic paint dilluted with water on the panel, I stamped a sentiment from the Penny Black sentiment set Season to Believe on the panel.

Waddling By

I'm still making Christmas cards, this time with this fun penguin by Penny Black called Waddling By.

I coloured the penguin with my Copics, added a bit of Stickles to his belly (it doesn't show up well in the photo though) and fussy cut him out. For the background, I used the Snowflake Frame die and sponged some blue Distress Oxide ink to the rectangle part of the frame. I then stamped a sentiment from the sentiment set Thrill of Hope, partly in black Memento ink and partly with red Distress Oxide ink.

Roses

I made this card with a Pinkfresh Studio stamp called Choose Hope. Once again, it's a very clean and simple card. Just the image stamped and then coloured with my Copics, a sponged rectangle background made using a Penny Black stencil from the set Background Basics and a sentiment (it says 'Happy Birthday'). I also embellished the card with some iridescent gems.

Sunflowers

I wanted a bit of a break from making Christmas cards so I reached for a floral stamp instead. This one is called Sunflower Garden and it's by Simon Says Stamp.

The card itself is pretty simple. I stamped the image partially on my panel and coloured it with my Copics. I also added some white gel pen here and there. I then placed a stencil from Penny Black's Background Basics stencil set on my panel and sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Speckled Egg on it. Before matting the panel onto some blue cardstock, I stamped my sentiment on it (it says something like 'Sunshine for your day' in Finnish).

Monochrome Snowy

I made a Christmas card with Penny Black's sweet little snowman called Snowy. I stamped him on a panel of Copic friendly cardstock before colouring him with my Copics. I then used a stencil from the stencil set Background Basics, placed it onto the panel and sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Salvaged Patina and Evergreen Bough through the stencil. Before removing the stencil, I splattered some water and some white acrylic paint dilluted with water on the panel. After the splatters had dried, I stamped a sentiment from the sentiment set Christmas Sentiments using Distress Oxide ink in Evergreen Bough. I embellished the card with some snowflakes die cut with Dancing Snowflakes die, and adhered some enamel dots in the middle of the snowflakes.

Wreath

Another Christmas card with a gorgeous Penny Black stamp, this one is called Christmas Circlet.

I stamped the image on Copic friendly cardstock, coloured it with my Copics and added some white gel pen here and there. I then masked the rectangle on the panel and sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Old Paper and Antique Linen on the panel. I stamped my sentiment (it says 'Merry Christmas and Happy New Year' in Finnish) inside the wreath before I embellished the wreath with some gold gems. Lastly, I adhered the panel onto a piece of kraft coloured cardstock and then onto my card base.

Penguins

Another Christmas card added to my stash! This one uses the same idea as this previous card (click!) and is quick and easy to make.

The penguins come from the Penny Black stamp set Festive Frolic. I coloured them with my Copics adding details with a white gel pen and finally die cutting them with the matching dies Festive Frolic Cut Out. For the background I used a stencil from the Penny Black stencil set Background Basics, adhered it to my panel and sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Speckled Eggs and Salvaged Patina through the stencil. Before removing the stencil, I splattered some watered down white acrylic pain to the opening. I then stamped my Finnish sentiment, adhered the penguins with foam adhesives and embellished the card with some die cut snowflakes (Penny Black's Dancing Snowflakes) embellished with light blue enamel dots.

Poinsettias

I found this gorgeous Marianne Design stamp 'Poinsettia' in an online craft shop and had to have it as I thought it'd be lovely to colour. And I was right! I stamped it onto Copic friendly cardstock and coloured it with my Copics adding a bit of white gel pen here and there. Then I used a stencil from the Background Basics stencil set by Penny Black, placed it onto my panel and sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Saltwater Taffy and Festive Berries onto it. The sentiment I used says 'Merry Christmas' in Finnish. As embellishments, I added some pink sparkly gems.

Polar Bear

I'm adding to my Christmas card stash with this cute card with the cutest polar bear ever. He's from the Penny Black stamp set Festive Frolic.

I coloured him with my Copics and die cut with the matching die, Festive Frolic Cut Out. I then used a stencil from the stencil set Background Basics, placed it on my card panel and sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Speckled Eggs and Salvaged Patina on it. I left the stencil in place and splattered the opening with some white acrylic paint dilluted with water. The sentiment I used is in Finnish and means 'Merry Christmas'. Extraordinary

Some more pretty little foiled snowflakes made with new Stick & Shine sheets by Penny Black! Aren't they cute?

For this card I used a previously released Penny Black stamp set called Snowman Hugs. I coloured the image with my Karin markers before die cutting the panel with Semi-Circle Stackers die. After that I used a stencil from the new stencil set Background Basics, placed it on the panel and sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon on the panel. The sentiment I used is from the sentiment set Jolly Snippets. After stamping the sentiment, I took the new Stick & Shine sheet Extraordinary, chose  three snowflakes and rubbed them on the panel. Then I took some pink foil from the foil set Classic Colors Multipack and gently rubbed that on the sticky snowflakes. For the background, I used the new embossing folder Dashed Design and dry embossed a piece of cream coloured cardstock. I then matted both the background and the panel onto light blue cardstock, adhered the panel onto some craft foam and adhered both the background and the panel in place.

Joyful.Merry.Blessed.

See the green foil on the background in this card? That is what you're left with when you use the new Penny Black Stick & Shine sheet and foil, that is the 'negative'. I thought it was so pretty that I just couldn't throw it away, instead I decided to use it as the background in this card.

I die cut the frame with Stitched Loops die and adhered the foil to the back of the frame. I then coloured one of the mugs in the Mugs of Joy stamp set with my Copics very simply and fussy cut it out. I also added a bit of white gel pen to the image. Before adhering the angel in place with foam adhesives, I stamped a sentiment from the Jolly Snippets stamp set on the frame. Lastly, I used the Festive Finesse die to die cut the branch, trimmed some of the berries and leaves off of it and adhered it in place.

Refinement

Will you just please look at that gorgeous shiny foiling! It's done with the new Penny Black product line called Stick & Shine, a foiling system that needs no expensive gagdets. And I am in love with the shine!

Here I used a Stick & Shine sheet called Refinement with green foil. After foiling, I die cut the panel with Antique Frame die and sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Peacock Feathers on it. I die cut the word 'joy' with Jumbo Joy die, first from pink cardstock and then a few times from white cardstock before adhering the layers together to make the word stand out a bit. I heat embossed the sentiment from the sentiment set Jolly Snippets on a strip of black cardstock and adhered in in place on top of the word 'joy'. I then used the die Festive Finesse but used only the berries from that die cut, coloured them with my Copics, added a bit of white gel pen on them and adhered them in place. Lastly, I embellished the card with some sticky back pearls.

Feather Trio

Here's another Christmas card made with some gorgeous Penny Black goodies. The stamp I used is called Feather Trio from the Penny Black release Sparkle & Shine.

I coloured the image with my Copics and added a bit of white gel pen here and there. I then used a negative of a stencil from the new stencil set Background Basics, placed that on top of the image and sponged some Distress Oxide inks to the panel (I used Old paper, Antique Linen and Brushed Corduroy). I then used the new foiling system by Penny Black called Stick & Shine and added the gorgeous snowflakes on the panel. I love the look of this foiling, it's so gorgeous in real life and so easy to do. After the foiling, I also added some splatters of white watered down acrylic paint to the panel before stamping my sentiment on it from the sentiment set Jolly Snippets. Lastly, I matted the panel onto a piece of dark brown cardstock before adhering it all to my card base.

The Flower Challenge #85

I am one of the Guest Designers in The Flower Challenge this month and what a special month it is! The Flower Challenge turns seven! Congratulations! There are also some changes coming as both Viv and Aileen are stepping down from the challenge and therefore some of the previous DT members, like myself, are now giving them a big beautiful send off by being Guest Designers. Before I go on to my card, I just want to say a big thank you to both Viv and Aileen who are such amazing and kind people. They are also the first ones to ever invite me to be a DT member of a challenge - thank you for being so kind and for giving me a chance!

The theme for October is Anything Goes and I decided to make a friendship card. I think this stamp by Penny Black called Prized is one of the most beautiful rose stamps there is, therefore I wanted to use it. I coloured the image with my Copics before using one of the new stencils in Penny Black's Background Basics stencil set and sponging some Distress Oxide ink in Antique Linen onto the panel. The sentiment I used is from Penny Black's Magical Friendship sentiment set. After stamping the sentiment onto my panel, I adhered the panel onto a piece of dark green cardstock (it looks black in the photo, but it is dark green) before adhering it all to my card base. Lastly, I embellished my card with some glittery gold enamel dots.

Happy 7th birthday, The Flower Challenge!

Festive Finesse

I don't often make cards with just die cuts but it's sometimes fun to do things a bit differently and to challenge yourself, right? This card was made with die by Penny Black.

I used the die Festive Finesse from recent Penny Black release Sparkle & Shine, die cut it from Copic friendly cardstock and coloured it with my Copics. I also added a bit of green Stickles to the green sprigs. I die cut the bow using Jumbo Bauble die and coloured that with Copics as well. The word 'joy' is die cut with Immense Joy die out of cork cardstock. In the background I used a stencil from the new stencil set Background Basics and sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Peeled Paint and Rustic Wilderness to the card base. After I had adhered everything in place, I embellished the card with some sequins and half pearls.

Glittering

Here's a Christmas card I made with one of the new Christmas stamps by Penny Black from their release back in July called Sparkle & Shine. The stamp is called Glittering, it's such a gorgeous stamp and very lovely to colour.

I stamped the image on Copic friendly cardstock and coloured it with my Copics. I then used a die from the die set Antique Frame to die cut the panel before using a stencil from the new stencil set Background Basics. I placed the stencil on my panel and sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Old Paper and Antique Linen on the panel. The sentiment stamp is from the sentiment set Feeling of Christmas. After stamping the sentiment, I adhered the panel onto kraft coloured card base and embellished the card with some glittery gold gems.

Autumn Boots

I made this card with the main stamp in the new Penny Black stamp set called Autumn Boots (in my previous card, I used the leafy branch from this same set) from their most recent release Autumn Gala. This is such a gorgeous image and so fun to colour!

I stamped the image on Copic friendly cardstock and coloured it with my Copics, I also added a bit of white gel pen here and there. Then I took one of the stencils in the new stencil set Background Basics (I love these stencils so much!), placed it on my panel and sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Peeled Paint and Rustic Wilderness onto the panel. I used a sentiment from the sentiment set Autumn Is Calling and embellished the card with some gold gems.

Hello Autumn

I'm continuing with my autumn themed cards and this time I wanted to mix and match some previously released stamps with stamps from the latest Penny Black release, Autumn Gala.

I die cut the panel with Semi-Circle Stackers die before stamping the cute bear couple on it. The stamp I used is called Rain or Shine. I then took a branch stamp from the new stamp set called Autumn Boots and stamped it on the top of the panel. The sentiment I used is from the Autumn Boots stamp set as well. The loose leaves on the breeze are from the new stamp set called Autumn Air. After I had stamped everything, I coloured the images with my Copics. I then wanted to add some die cut elements as well, so I die cut the two leaves with Fall Wreath die and coloured them by sponging some Distress Oxide inks on them. For the background, I used the new embossing folder called Dashed Design and embossed the background panel partly with it. I added a bit of twine where the embossing ends. I then adhered the stamped panel onto some craft foam before adhering it on to the background. Lastly, I added teeny tiny drops of clear Nuvo Drops to look like rain drops (they're really small so you may have to zoom in a bit).

Autumn Air

I'm breaking my Christmas card parade with an autumnal card. This one is made with a stamp from the most recent Penny Black release 'Autumn Gala'. This gorgeous stamp is called Autumn Air.

I stamped the image on a panel of watercolour paper and coloured it with my Karin markers. After the image was dry (I sped up the drying with my heat tool), I placed a stencil from the new Background Basics stencil set on the panel and sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Antique Linen and Dried Marigold on it. Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from the sentiment set Always Thankful on the panel and adhered it on my card base.

Mugs of Joy

It's reminder time at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. The theme for September is Anything Goes with the optional theme of Lots of Layers.

I decided to go for the Anything Goes theme with this Christmas card. The stamps I used are new from Penny Black and from the set called Mugs of Joy. I stamped them onto Copic friendly cardstock and coloured very simply with my Copics. After colouring, I used a stencil from the new stencil set called Background Basics. I'm really excited about these stencils as I do background inking a lot and these stencils simply make my crafting so much easier. No need for masking tape anymore! So I used the smaller rectangle stencil from the set, placed it onto my card panel and sponged some Distress Oxide inks to the panel. I then left the stencil in place, stamped my sentiment from the sentiment set Christmas Sentiments, and splattered the panel with some white acrylic paint dilluted with water to create the snow. Lastly, I adhered the panel onto my cardbase.

Holly Circle

I'm playing with some new products from the Christmas release Penny Black released in late July, Sparkle & Shine, and there are some new product lines I am totally excited about!

Can you see the gorgeous sparkle on the green panel on the card? That is foiling! Do I have expensive equipment for foiling? No, I do not! That foiling is done with the new product line Penny Black came up with called Stick & Shine. It works like rub-ons, you just rub a Stick & Shine sheet on a piece of smooth cardstock, apply a sheet of foil on it and rub with your finger (or an applicator tool), peel the sheet of foil off and admire all the pretty sparkle! Easy peasy! So that is what I did with this Stick & Shine sheet called Refinement before I sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Rustic Wilderness on top of it. For the card base, I also added a piece of white cardstock (on a piece of craft foam) with a strip of black cardstock separating the foiled edge and the white panel. My focal image is called Holly Circle, I coloured it with my Copics before die cutting it with the matching die, Holly Circle Cut Out. The sentiment comes from the sentiment set Christmas Sentiments. I also used some red and pink sequins to embellish the card.

PBSC: September

It's September (already..!) and time for a new challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. The theme is always Anything Goes and the optional theme for this month is 'Lots of Layers'. I chose to follow the Anything Goes theme this time and make a Christmas card with the classic and gorgeous Penny Black stamp called Holly Berry Branch.

I stamped the image on a panel die cut with Penny Black's Antique Frame die and coloured it with my Copics. I also added touches of white gel pen onto the coloured image. I then placed the die back in its place and sponged the image with some Distress Oxide ink in Old Paper before stamping my sentiment on it (it says 'Christmas Greetings'). Lastly, I adhered the panel onto a piece of kraft coloured cardstock, adhered that onto my card base and embellished the card with some gold sequins.

Please pop by the PBSC blog to see all the gorgeous inspiration provided by my team mates and don't forget to join the challenge!

Pinecone Poetry

Here's a Christmas card made with the gorgeous Pinecone Poetry stamp by Penny Black. This is such a classic stamp for Christmas cards.

I stamped the image on the top right corner of the panel die cut with Penny Black's Swirly Stitches die and coloured it with my Copics. I then added some touches of white gel pen here and there. I placed the Swirly Stitches die back in place and sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Old paper to the panel before stamping my sentiment on it (the sentiment says 'Merry Christmas'). I then adhered the panel onto a piece of kraft cardstock before adhering it onto my cardbase. Lastly, I embellished the card with some gold gems.

Hug a Snowman!

Another Christmas card, another snowman! I think this is one of the cutest snowmen I've ever seen. This one is from the stamp set Hug a Snowman by Penny Black and I coloured him with my Copics adding touches of white gel pen here and there. I then die cut the panel with Zig-Zag Stackers die by Penny Black before stamping my sentiment on it (the sentiment says 'Christmas Greetings'). The snowflakes are die cut with Penny Black dies, the biggest with Polar Pair dies and the two small ones with Dancing Snowflake dies, embellished with enamel dots. For the background, I used a piece of paper onto which I stamped intentionally unevenly with a Simon Says Stamp stamp called Diagonal Stripes.

Snowy

I am slowly getting started with my Christmas cards and I couldn't resist using this cutie of a snowman called Snowy in my card! Snowy is an "oldie but a goldie" stamp by Penny Black.

I first stamped the postage stamp with Penny Black's Posted stamp before masking the edges of the postage stamp and stamping Snowy inside the postage stamp. I coloured him with my Karin markers and added a few accents with a white gel pen before I die cut the postage stamp with the matching die, Posted Cut Out. The sentiment is partly die cut with the Merry and Joy die and partly stamped and heat embossed with a sentiment from the sentiment set Christmas Sentiments. The large snowflake is die cut with a die in the Polar Pair die set and the smaller ones are die cut with Dancing Snowflakes dies. For the background, I used a piece of patterned paper from the paper pad Wintertime matted onto a piece of purple cardstock. After adhering everything in their places, I embellished the small snowflakes with half pearls.

I've been on a roll making cards with the Beautiful Blooms stamp set by Pinkfresh Studio, here's my fourth card made with the set. Once again, I coloured the image with my Copics adding a bit of white gel pen here and there before die cutting it with the matching die. I created the background by masking two edges of the panel and sponging Distress Oxide inks to it. Before I adhered the stamped image with foam adhesives, I stamped my sentiment on the panel (it says 'Congratulations'). Lastly, I embellished the card with some gems.

Yellow daisies

Here's yet another card made with the Beautiful Blooms stamp set by Pinkfresh Studio. Just like the previous ones, this turned out quite clean and simple. The image is coloured with Copics and die cut with the matching die. The background is very simple, I simply masked the circle and sponged some Distress Oxide inks to it before stamping the sentiment (it says 'Congratulations'). After adhering the image in its place, I embellished the card with some sequins.

Beautiful Blooms

Here's another clean and simple card I made with the Beautiful Blooms stamp set by Pinkfresh Studio. Once again I coloured the image with my Copics before adding a bit of white gel pen to it and die cutting it with the matching die. I then masked the edges of the panel and sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Peeled Paint and Rustic Wilderness to it before splattering the panel with white and gold watercolour. After I had adhered the image in place with foam adhesives, I stamped the sentiment (it says 'Warmest congratulations') and embellished the card with some iridescent gems.

Lily of the valley

I bought some new Pinkfresh Studio stamps this summer and the gorgeous Beautiful Blooms was one of them. I've already made several cards with the set, here's the first one.

I coloured the image with my Copics trying to make them look like lilies of the valley before die cutting them with the matching die. I then masked the edges of my cardbase and sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Stormy Sky to create the rectangle. Before removing the masking I splattered the panel with white watercolour. I then adhered the lilies of the valley in place, stamped my sentiment (it says 'On your special day') and embellished the card with some clear gems.

Inky Bouquet

I made a birthday card with a Pinkfresh Studio stamp called Inky Bouquet. I watercoloured the image with my Karin markers and die cut it with the matching die. I also added a bit of white gel pen here and there on the image and some Stickles to the tiny pink flowers (sadly the Stickles doesn't really show on the photo). For the background, I used some patterned paper matted onto some cardstock and a frame die cut with a My Favorite Things die. The sentiment is die cut and says 'Congrats'. I embellished the card with some enamel dots.

Posted

I made a couple of cards with Penny Black's fun Posted stamp set from Sending Smiles release. It's a postage stamp stamp set that has its matching die, Posted Cut Out.

For the first card, I used the Posted stamp set and the matching die to first create the postage stamp basis. I then stamped the forget-me-not in it using a stamp from Abloom stamp set, coloured it with my Copics and added a bit of white gel pen on the flowers. I also masked the edges of the postage stamp and sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Antique Linen on the postage stamp itself. For the background, I used some patterned paper from the paper pad Painted Blooms matted onto some dark brown cardstock. I splattered the background with some inks before stamping a sentiment from the sentiment set Delightful Day on it. Lastly, I added a bit of twine, adhered the focal image onto some craft foam and then onto the card base and embellished the twine bow with a half pearl.

For the second card, I created the postage stamp the same way as I did for the first card. This time the flower is from the set Blossoming coloured with my Copics again and die cut with the matching die, Blossoming Cut Out. For the background, I used Vintage Postcard stamp and stamped it onto some blue cardstock before sponging some blue Distress Oxide inks to the edges and splattering the panel with some watercolours. The sentiment I used is from Love Everywhere stamp set. Lastly, I embellished the card with some enamel dots.

Abloom

I cannot get enough of these gorgeous florals in the new Penny Black stamp set called Abloom, from their new release Sending Smiles. This time I created a flower bouquet with them.

I coloured the images with my Copics and used the matching dies, Abloom Cut Out, to die cut the flowers. I also die cut some greenery to go with the flowers, I used Penny Black dies called Fall Fern and Viridescent. I die cut the panel in the background with Graceful Stackers die, left the die in place and sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Antique Linen and Rustic Wilderness on the panel before arranging and adhering all the elements on it. I then die cut the bow with Jumbo Bauble die and adhered it in place. I stamped a sentiment from Snippets sentiment set onto a banner die cut with a die from Pocket and Banners die and adhered it in place. Lastly, I adhered the panel on my card base and embellished it with some half pearls.

Doggone Sweet

I made a couple of cards with the Doggone Sweet stamp set by Penny Black because you can never have enough dog themed cards, right? I love the doggies in this stamp set, they somehow remind me of my own dog :)

For the first card, I stamped the image onto watercolour card and coloured it with my Karin markers. I then masked the edges of the panel and sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness onto it before stamping a sentiment from the sentiment set So Thankful. Lastly, I embellished the card with some enamel dots.

For the second card, I die cut a panel with Zig-Zag Stackers die and stamped the image onto it before colouring it with my Karin markers. I then placed the die back onto the panel and sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Salvaged Patina onto it before stamping a sentiment from the sentiment set Not Older, Better onto the panel. I then embellished the panel with some enamel dots before matting it onto a piece of dark brown cardstock and some craft foam. Lastly, I adhered the panel onto my card base.
