Hello Friend

I wanted to create a card for the current challenge at Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero but found the theme - Saturday In The Park - a bit difficult. After pondering about it, I decided to keep it simple and go with the word 'park'. I figured that if you went to a park, you'd need a sunhat and you'd see pretty flowers and bees, and if you were lucky, you'd find a four-leaf clover. Maybe you'd also meet up with some friends. And there you have it - elements in my card! I used Hero Arts' Gardening Tools & Flowers stamp and cover plate die, Morning Glory die and a sentiment from Here For You stamp set as well as Spellbinders' Essential Arches dies. I did all the colouring with my Copics.

You are loved

I made this rainbow card for this month's Pinkfresh Studio Challenge with the theme of Rainbow Reverie. The stamp I used is from the In the Meadow stamp set, I coloured it in rainbow colours with my Copics before die cutting it with the matching die. Otherwise I kept the card fairly simple, adding only a frame, a sentiment (it's from the Beyond Measure stamp set) and some clear drops as embellishments.

Hello Friend

Here's a card I made simply because I wanted to colour some florals. The stamp I used is Sweet as Honey from Hero Arts, I coloured the image with my Copics as usual and used the matching die to die cut the image. I then ink blended a rectangle on the background, stamped my sentiment (it's from the Hero Arts set Wild Columbine), adhered the image and embellished the card with some half pearls.

Hugs

Here's a quick and easy card I made with some Hero Arts products. I used stamps from the With Sympathy stamp set with their matching dies, coloured the images with my Copics and added a bit of white gel pen here and there. Then I die cut the window with the Trellis Window die, placed some patterned paper behind it and adhered everything in place. The Finnish sentiment is also die cut and it translates as 'Hugs'. Lastly, I embellished the card with some purple gems.

Spring Garden

I made a card with the gorgeous Alex Syberia Designs stamp called Spring Garden using only a part of that stamp (I masked half of it off). I coloured the image with my Copics before die cutting the panel with Spellbinders' Essential Arches die. I also die cut a bit larger panel from dark green cardstock with the Essential Arches dies to be placed behind the stamped panel. I stamped my sentiment ('Congratulations' in Finnish) on the panel before adhering it on the green panel with foam adhesives. For the background, I used a piece of patterned paper. Lastly, I embellished the card with some brown gems.

For Mother

Happy Mother's Day! I'm sharing the card I made for my own Mom. The stamp I used is Stamping Bella's Bundle Girl with a Cornflower, a little bundle of a girl with a huge flower - quite perfect for Mother's Day, I think. I coloured the image with my Copics, die cut the panel with My Favorite Things die and ink blended some Distress Oxide ink to it before stamping the sentiment (Finnish for 'For Mother'). I then die cut another panel with Lawn Fawn's Lacy Rectangle Stackables die and adhered the stitched edge panel onto it. For the background, I used some pretty patterned papers and a border die cut with an My Favorite Things die. Lastly, I embellished the card with some half pearls.
