It's December and time for a new challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. This month the optional theme is 'Christmas' along with the regular theme of 'Anything Goes'. As our Guest Designer, we have Bonnie.
For my Christmas card, I used Poinsettia Poem stamp by Penny Black. I stamped it onto a panel of Copic-friendly cardstock which I die cut with Semi-Circle Stackers die by Penny Black. I coloured the image with my Copics and then placed the die back in place before sponging some Distress Oxide inks (Antique Linen and Brushed Corduroy) to the edges of the panel. When I then removed the die, it had left some beautiful white edges around the panel. I stamped my sentiment ('Merry Christmas' in Finnish) on a strip of vellum and adhered it on the panel before adhering the panel itself onto kraft coloured cardbase. Lastly, I embellished the card with clear sequins.
I'm entering my card to:
* Watercooler Wednesday Challenge: WWC330 - All about Occasions
* Time Out Challenges: Challenge 202 - Photo Inspiration (I took inspiration from the colours, the pillow which fringes look like the border of the die I used, and the berries)
* Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Happy Holidays/Christmas
Joulukuun haaste on alkanut Penny Black Saturday Challengessä ja joulukuun vaihtoehtoinen teema on 'Christmas' pysyvän teeman 'Anything Goes' rinnalla. Guest Designerina meillä on Bonnie.
Omaan korttiini käytin Penny Blackin Poinsettia Poem -leimaa, väritin leimakuvan Copiceilla. Paneelin stanssasin Penny Blackin Semi-Circles Stackers -stanssilla ja mustetin paneelia Distress Oxide -musteilla Antique Linen ja Brushed Corduroy. Tekstin leimasin vellumvyötteeseen ja paneelin kiinnitin kraftin väriselle korttipohjalle. Lopuksi koristelin kortin kirkkailla paljeteilla.
