Penny Black Bunches of Love: Love Everywhere

There's a new release out by Penny Black called Bunches of Love and there are so many gorgeous stamps to choose from once again. This cute lil' hedgie is from the stamp set Love Everywhere.

I coloured the image with my Karin markers and die cut it with the matching dies. For the background, I die cut a piece of masking paper with Heart Balloons die and used it as a mask to create the heart in the background. I also die cut the bottom edge of the panel with a die from the Border Collection set. The sentiment comes from an older sentiment set called Hug Me. I adhered the the stamped image onto the card panel with foam adhesives, adhered the panel onto my cardbase and embellished the card with some sequins.

Flower bouquet - Kukkakimppu

Here's a simple birthday card I made using a lovely stamp by Trinity Stamps called Blooming Bunch. I coloured the image with my Copics and, as the stamp itself is so gorgeous, decided to keep the background fairly simple. I die cut the frame using Ribbon Stackers die by Penny Black and added a bit of patterned paper behind it. The sentiment is die cut and says 'Congrats'. I embellished the card with some white sticky back pearls.

Guest Designing at TIME OUT Challenges - Vieraana TIME OUT Challengessä

I have the great pleasure of being the Guest Designer at TIME OUT Challenges this fortnight - thank you so much, ladies! The theme is 'In Love' and the winner of the challenge wins $15 coupon to Alex Syberia and a Guest Designer spot for a future challenge at TIME OUT Challenges. Worth playing along, right!?

I went for a quite literal interpretation of the theme and chose to use these two adorable lovey-dovey hedgies from Penny Black. They're from the set HedgeHUGS. After stamping the images, I coloured them with my Copics adding a bit of Polychromos pencils to the hot air balloon heart. I then masked a rectangle on the panel and sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Speckled Egg and Bundled Sage to it. I also used a Penny Black border die from the die set Border Collection to die cut the bottom of the panel before adhering the panel onto my cardbase. After stamping the sentiment from the HedgeHUGS set, I embellished the card with some pink enamel dots.

Minulla on ilo olla Guest Designer tämänkertaisessa TIME OUT Challenges -haasteessa, jonka teemana on 'In Love'. Haasteen voittaja saa $15 kupongin Alex Syberialle ja kutsun olla Guest Designer tulevassa haasteessa. 

Itse tulkitsin teemaa aika kirjaimellisesti ja käytin korttiini näitä ihania siilejä Penny Blackin setistä HedgeHUGS. Penny Black Hello Winter: Lovely Landing

I made a couple of cards with a new Penny Black stamp called Lovely Landing from the Hello Winter release.

For the first card, I coloured the image with my Copics and die cut the panel with Ribbon Stackers die, I also die cut the frame with the Ribbon Stackers die. I sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Speckled Egg on the edges of the panel and splattered some white acrylic paint on it. The sentiment comes from the sentiment set When Snow Falls. For the background, I used a piece of bluish gray cardstock.

For the second card, I coloured the image with Copics and added some Polychromos pencils on top for the bird. I die cut the panel with Semi-Circle Stackers die, left it in place and sponged some white ink on the panel. After removing the die, I splattered the panel with white watercolour before stamping a sentiment from the When Snow Falls sentiment set. I matted the panel onto some dark brown cardstock and mounted the panel onto some cream coloured cardstock that I had splattered with brown ink. Lastly, I adhered it all onto my card base.

Nämä kaksi korttia syntyi uudella Penny Black -leimalla Lovely Landing. Molempiin kortteihin väritin leimakuvan Copiceilla, alempaan lisäsin vielä Polychromos-kynää lintuun. Ensimmäisen kortin paneelin stanssasin Ribbon Stackers -stanssilla, samoin sen kehyksen. Paneelin reunoja mustetin Distress Oxide -musteen sävyllä Speckled Egg ja roiskin valkoista akryylimaalia lumeksi. Tekstileima molemmissa korteissa on setistä When Snow Falls. Penny Black Hello Winter: Viewpoint

Here's a wintry view from a window created with a fun new die by Penny Black called Viewpoint. I created the view with the cutest lil' snowman from the stamp set Hug a Snowman with some pine branches from the set Delicate Pines, both coloured with my Zig markers. I also sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Lucky Clover and Peacock Feathers around the pine branches and the snowman. The snowflakes are die cut with Dancing Snowflakes die and embellished with some sticky-back rhinestones. The sentiment is from the set When Snow Falls.

Tämä ikkunanäkymä syntyi uudella hauskalla Penny Black -stanssilla Viewpoint. Lumiukko on setistä Hug a Snowman, oksat taas Delicate Pines -setistä, molemmat väritetty Zigeillä. Mustetin näkymää hieman Distress Oxide -musteilla Lucky Clover ja Peacock Feathers ja kiinnitin siihen pieniä lumihiutaleita, jotka stanssasin Dancing Snowflakes -stanssilla ja koristelin timangeilla. AAA Birthday: January - Tammikuu

It's start of a new year and a new month - and time for a new challenge at AAA Birthday. For this month's challenge, we're asking you to use your two favourite colours on your birhtday cards. As our Guest Designer, we have the wonderful Francesca joining us. There's also a Micro Blog Hop going, I'll share the details later on in this post.

For my two favourite colours, I chose pink (what a surprise, ha ha!) and grey. I coloured this stamped image by Memory Box called All the Happiness with my Copics using pinks and greys. I kept the background simple by adding a panel of light pink cardstock with a grey die cut panel (die cut with Penny Black's Geometric Circles die). I heat embossed my sentiment (it says 'On your birthday') onto a strip of black cardstock and after adhering everything in place, I embellished the card with some light grey sticky back pearls.

Vuoden ensimmäinen haaste on alkanut AAA Birthdayssä ja sen aiheena on Two Favourite Colours. Eli kahta lempiväriä pitäisi synttärikortissa käyttää. Guest Designerina tässä haasteessa meillä on Francesca. Menossa on myös Micro Blog Hop, jonka tiedot englanniksi tuossa yllä.

Penny Black Hello Winter: Winter Blooms

Happy New Year! It's January 1st and time for a brand new challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. Our theme is, as always, Anything Goes with the optional theme of Something New. 

My 'something new' is a new stamp. This gorgeous floral stamp is from the new Penny Black collection called Hello Winter and it's called Winter Blooms. I coloured the image with my Copics and die cut the panel with Zig-Zag Stackers. Before removing the die, I sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Antique Linen on the panel. I also splattered some white watercolour paint onto the panel. The sentiment stamp comes from the set Special Sentiments. Lastly, I matted my panel onto my cardbase and embellished the card with some clear sequins.
