Leaf Trio - Lehtitrio

Here are a couple of monochromatic cards made with the gorgeous Penny Black stamp set Leaf Trio.

For both of them, I stamped the images in Memento Toffee Crunch ink and then coloured them with my Karin markers. I then sponged some Distress Oxide inks on the panels (Salvaged Patina on the first card, Pickled Raspberry on the second) and adhered a frame die cut with Semi-Circle Stackers. The sentiment on the first card comes from the sentiment set Smiles and on the second card, from the set Always Thankful. Lastly, I embellished both card with some sticky back pearls/rhinestones.

Fall Flourish - Lyhtykoiso

 I'm continuing with autumn-themed cards and this one is made with the gorgeous Fall Flourish stamp by Penny Black. I stamped it with Memento Toffee Crunch ink and coloured it with my Karin markers. I die cut the side of the panel with a die from the Border Collection die set, added a bit of twine to the card and adhered the panel to green cardbase. The sentiment comes from Always Thankful sentiment set. Lastly, I embellished the card with some sticky back rhinestones.

Favorite color - Lempiväri

It's been a while since I posted any cards here (or, to be honest, even made a card..). Life's been quite busy recently but I'm hoping that'll change now and I'll have a bit more time for crafting. Now I know it's nearly December already but I'm only getting started with autumn-themed cards - I think I'll be quite busy later with Christmas cards..

But anyways, I made an autumn-themed card with this little cutie, I think she is so lovely. The stamp is called Hello Autumn and it is by Penny Black. I stamped it onto watercolour cardstock and coloured it with my Karin markers. I then die cut the bottom with a die from Border Collection set of dies. Underneath it, I placed a piece of cardstock that I had sponged some Distress Oxide inks and stamped with a stamp from the Footnotes set. The sentiment I used is from Always Thankful sentiment set. To decorate the card, I die cut a maple leaf with a die from Fall Foliage set and sponged it with Distress Oxide inks as well. Lastly, I added a bit of twine and some rhinestones to my card.

Blogissa on ollut pitkään hiljaista, en ole pahemmin ehtinyt kortteja tehdä, saati postata. Toivottavasti tilanne alkaa muuttua nyt.. Pian on jo joulukuu ja joulukorttejakin pitäisi ehtiä tehdä, mutta rustailen vielä syksykortteja.

Tämä suloisuus on Penny Blackin Hello Autumn. Leimasin sen vesivärikartongille ja väritin Karin-tusseilla. Alareunan stanssasin Border Collection -setin stanssilla ja alle laitoin kartonkia, jonka värjäsin Distress Oxide -musteilla ja päälle leimasin Footnotes-setin leimalla. Tekstileima on Always Thankful -setistä. Kortin koristelin vaahteranlehdellä, jonka stanssasin Fall Foliage -stanssisetin stanssilla ja värjäsin Distress Oxide -musteilla. Sunny Yellow - Auringon keltaista

Here's a card made with a Penny Black stamp called Blooming. I coloured the image with my Karin markers and die cut the bottom with a die from the set Border Collection before sponging some Distress Oxide inks to the edges of the panel. I then splattered the same Distress Oxide inks on the panel adding a few splatters of water there too. The sentiment is from the set Not Older, Better. Beneath the die cut bottom edge, I added a panel onto which I had sponged some Distress Oxide inks before adhering the whole panel onto kraft coloured card base. Lastly, I embellished the card with some rhinestones.

Tämä kortti syntyi Penny Blackin Blooming-leimalla. Väritin leimakuvan Karin-tusseilla ja stanssasin alareunan Border Collection -setin stanssilla, minkä jälkeen mustetin paneelin reunoja Distress Oxide -musteilla. Samoilla musteilla ja vedellä roiskin korttiin roiskeita. Tekstileima on setistä Not Older, Better. Stanssatun alareunan alle laitoin kartonkia, jonka värjäsin Distress Oxide -musteilla, minkä jälkeen kiinnitin kortin kraftin väriseen korttipohjaan. Lopuksi koristelin kortin blingillä. Puppies - Pennut

Aren't these puppies the cutest!? These little puppies come from the set Waggingly Happy by Penny Black and I am smitten with them! 

I used three of the four puppy stamps in the set and coloured the images with my Copics. I wanted to display the puppies in some sort of grid so I used the window die called Viewpoint for that. I die cut it out of dark brown cardstock and adhered the puppies in place. The sentiment comes from the Waggingly Happy set, I die cut a piece of cardstock with Just a Note die, left the die in place and sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Salvaged Patina onto the die cut before stamping the sentiment. The little paper clip is die cut with the same Just a Note die set. For the background, I used patterned paper from Coco Style paper pad and adhered the grid with foam adhesives on it as I did the die cut note. Lastly, I embellished the card with a heart die cut with Bear-y Much Cut Out die and some enamel dots.

Nämä suloiset koiranpennut ovat Penny Blackin setistä Waggingly Happy, väritin ne Copiceilla. Kehikon stanssasin Viewpoint-stanssilla ja kiinnitin koirat siihen. Tekstileima on samaisesta Waggingly Happy -setistä, leimasin sen Just a Note -stanssilla stanssattuun paperiin, johon mustetin hieman Distress Oxide -mustetta sävyssä Salvaged Patina. Taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia paperikosta Coco Style ja kiinnitin kehikon kohotarroilla siihen. Koristelin kortin pienellä klemmarilla (stanssattu Just a Note -stanssisetin stanssilla), sydämellä (stanssattu Bear-y Much Cut Out -stanssilla) ja muutamalla enamel dotsilla. Garden's Grace - Kukkakimppu

I love this stamp by Penny Black - all the pretty flowers and the folk art feel the stamp has. I decided to really show off the stamp without adding much fuss to the card so I simply coloured the image with my Copics, cut the panel to size before matting it first to black, then to white cardstock. Then I adhered the matted panel to the blue cardbase. The sentiment I used is from Snippets sentiment set, I heat embossed it onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered it with foam adhesives. Lastly, I adhered black rhinestones in the centres of the sunflowers.

Tämä ihana leima on Penny Blackin Garden's Grace. Väritin leimakuvan Copiceilla, leikkasin paneelin oikean kokoiseksi ja kerrostin sen ensin mustalle, sitten valkoiselle kartongille ja kiinnitin siniseen korttipohjaan. Tekstileima on Snippets-setistä, embossasin sen valkoisella mustalle kartonginpalalle ja kiinnitin kohotarroilla paikoilleen. Lopulta lisäsin mustat blingit auringonkukkien keskustoihin. Garden Fragrance - Puutarhan Tuoksuja

I love Penny Black's floral stamps and this one is no exception. This beauty is called Garden Fragrance. I coloured the image with my Karin markers and die cut the panel with Semi-Circle Stackers die. Before removing the die, I sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Salvaged Patina on the panel. The sentiment is from the set Not Older, Better. Before adhering the panel, I matted it onto a piece of brown cardstock and then used a piece of patterned paper from the paper pad Coco Style for the background. I embellished the card with some clear bling.
