Penny Black Autumn Extraordinaire: Windy

I'm sharing an autumn themed card made with goodies from the new Penny Black release called Autumn Extraordinaire. For this card, I used dies from the new set called Windy - I just love the funky geometric foliage on these trees! To colour the trees and the foliage, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide inks on a piece of watercolour paper before die cutting the pieces. For the background, I die cut the square with a die from Stitched Square & Circles set before masking the edges and sponging some green Distress Oxide ink to the panel. I then assembled the trees adhering some parts of the foliage both on the trees and on the ground with foam adhesives, stamped the sentiment from the new set Harvest Breeze and adhered the panel onto my square card base.

Mustetin ensin vesivärikartonkia Distress Oxide -musteilla, minkä jälkeen stanssasin puiden osaset. Penny Black Autumn Extraordinaire: Bountiful Beauty

I made this card with a new stamp from the new Penny Black release called Autumn Extraordinaire, a release full of beautiful autumn themed stamps and dies.

For this card I used a stamp from the new stamp set called Bountiful Beauty. I coloured the image with my Copics and fussy cut it. For the stripes I used patterned paper from the paper pad Painted Blooms die cut with Antique Frame die, I die cut the little panel twice and cut a piece off of both of them so that I was able to get a clean straight edge to them. I also die cut the white panel with Antique Frame die and raised it from the card base with a panel of craft foam. For the sentiment I used one from the set Snippets. After adhering everything in place, I embellished the card with gold sequins.

Taustan paneelin stanssasin Antique Frame -setin stanssilla, samoin kuin kuviopaperin palaset. Kuviopaperi on paperikosta Painted Blooms ja tekstileima setistä Snippets. Valkoisen paneelin kohotin korttipohjasta fun foamilla. Lopuksi koristelin kortin kultaisilla paljeteilla. Penny Black Autumn Extraordinaire: Falling Leaves

Penny Black has released a new collection of autumn themed stamps and dies called Autumn Extraordinaire and I'm sharing my first card made with some of them. This card features some of the beautiful leaves that come in the Falling Leaves stamp set.

I used ink sponging to make this card. I started with sponging some Distress Oxide inks to a piece of watercolour paper, then I stamped the three leaves onto the ink sponged paper before die cutting them with the matching dies. For the background, I die cut my panel using Dainty Dashes Stackers die and masked a rectangle onto it. Then I sponged the rectangle with some Distress Oxide inks. After sponging, I had some residue ink on my craft mat so I dribbled it with water and dabbed my panel onto the ink to create the subtle splotches of ink. I mounted the panel onto my card base and arranged the leaves onto it. For the sentiment, I heat embossed a sentiment from the new Harvest Breeze stamp set onto a strip of black cardstock and attached it in place. I embellished my card with some golden sequins.

PBSC: September - Syyskuu

We're midway through the September challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge where the theme is Anything Goes with the optional theme of Use Your Favourite Colours. Our Guest Designer is Bonnie.

 

This time I went with the Anything Goes theme and used the cute kitty from the Fun Felines set by Penny Black (all the stamps and dies I used on this card are by Penny Black). I coloured the cat with my Copics and die cut it using the matching die, Fun Felines Cut Out.  I placed the cat on a bench from the set Yummy, I stamped it, coloured with my Copics and die cut it using the Yummy Cut Out dies. The little signs is die cut with Sign die set and the heart with Hearts Galore die. For the background I die cut a panel using the Diamond Cut die. The sentiment is from the Trust Me Builder sentiment set. After attaching everything in place, I rounded the right hand corners of the card.

Rainbow hello - Sateenkaariheippa

I'm a bit late in joining the rainbow craze but when I saw this cute rainbow die by MFT I knew I had to have it! It's called Rainbow Whimsy and it makes a beautifully whimsical rainbow. Instead of using traditional rainbow colours, I simply chose to use pretty colours that I think go together well. The heart is die cut with a Lawn Fawn die and embellished with a single enamel dot. The sentiment is from the Polar Bear Pals stamp set by MFT and the die I used for the white panel is by MFT as well.

 

 

Sateenkaarta pukkaa! Tämä syntyi MFT:n ihanalla Rainbow Whimsy -stanssilla. Tekstileima ja stanssi, jolla tein piparkakkupaneelin, ovat niin ikään MFT:n, yhdellä enamel dotsilla koristeltu sydän on stanssattu Lawn Fawnin stanssilla.

All the Best - Kaikkea Hyvää

 I absolutely adore the little critters in the Mama Elephant stamp set Dandelion Wishes, they are just so cute! I coloured the images with my Zig markers, arranged them in the window die cut with Penny Black's Stitched Circles die and placed a piece of patterned paper behind it. I heat embossed my sentiment on a strip of dark brown cardstock, the sentiment says 'All the Best'.

AAA Birthday: September - Syyskuu

 

It's time for September challenge at AAA Birthday! Our theme this month is 'Animals & Critters' and we have Maaike joining us as a Guest Designer.

 

I made my birthday card using this sweet little kitty from Waffle Flower, it is from the stamp set Smiling. I coloured the image with my Copics and die cut it using the matching die. For the background, I used some patterned paper matted onto dark blue cardstock and a frame die cut with an MFT die. The sentiment says 'Congrats on your birthday'.

It's September and that means, of course, a new challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge! The theme is, as always, 'Anything Goes' with the optional theme of 'Your Favourite Colours'. We have a prize for the winner, a $20 voucher to 1-2-3 Stitch! As our Guest Designer, we have Bonnie joining us.

 

Well, can you guess my favourite colour? Ha ha, yes, it's pink - at least when it comes to cards and colouring floral stamps!  The stamp I used is Rose Bowl by Penny Black and I coloured it with my watercolours before fussy cutting it. For the background, I used a piece of patterned paper and a frame die cut with Snowflake Stitch Frame dies by Penny Black. I heat embossed the sentiment (it says 'On your birthday') on a strip of grey cardstock. Lastly, I embellished the card with sequins.

Gnome pile - Tonttupino

One more card to add to my Christmas card stash! This one is made with a Stamping Bella stamp called Gnome Pile that I colourd with my Copics. I die cut the panel with an MFT stitched edge die and added a frame to it that I die cut with an MFT die as well. I stamped my sentiment onto the panel, it's a Christmas themed little poem in Finnish. For the background, I simply added a piece of patterned paper. Lastly, I embellished the card with some sticky back pearls.
