Friend - Ystävä

I did a bit of crafty shopping earlier this summer and now had a play with some of my new stuff :) I love this bouquet of flowers, it's a stamp called Tumble Blossom #9 by Stamping Bella. I coloured it with my Lukas watercolours and die cut the panel with Leaf Stitched Frames die by Penny Black. I left the die in place and sponged some Distress Oxide ink onto the panel so that the die left a white frame around the panel. I adhered the panel onto kraft coloured card base and added the die cut sentiment (Painted Friend by Simon Says Stamp), I die cut it out of dark brown cardstock although it looks pretty black in the photo.

Tein kortin uusilla ostoksillani :) Leima on ihana Stamping Bellan Tumble Blossom #9, väritin sen vesiväreillä. Paneelin stanssasin Penny Blackin Leaf Stitched Frames -stanssilla, jonka jätin paikoilleen ja mustetin paneelia Distress Oxide -musteella niin, että stanssi jätti valkoisen reunan paneeliin. Paneelin kiinnitin korttipohjaan ja lopuksi lisäsin stanssatun tekstin (Simon Says Stampin Painted Friend).

Lilac - Syreeni

I love this sweet little girl! I think she looks so lovely in her floral dress and headpiece :) She is Garden Girl Lilac by Stamping Bella and I coloured her earlier in the summer during the Daily Marker 30 day Colouring Challenge. To make a card with her, I die cut her with the matching die and then die cut the frame using Stitched Stackers dies by Penny Black. I stamped my sentiment ('Congratulations') onto a piece of vellum and adhered it behind the frame. For the background I used a piece of patterned paper and I embellished the card with a single heart die cut with a Lawn Fawn die.

Tämä on Stamping Bellan Garden Girl Lilac ja mielestäni hän on hurmaava! :) Väritin tämän leimakuvan jo kesällä mutta vasta nyt tein sen kortiksi. Stanssasin leimakuvan irti ja kiinnitin kohotarroilla. Kehyksen stanssasin Penny Blackin Stitched Stackers -stansseilla, tekstileiman leimasin vellumvyötteelle. Taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia ja koristeeksi laitoin Lawn Fawnin stanssilla stanssatun sydämen.

Congratulations - Onnittelut

I had a play with my new Altenew stamps. I really like this floral stamp, it's from the Weekend Doodles set. I coloured the image with my Copic markers and die cut it. I folded my card base out of white linen textured cardstock, die cut a circle frame with an MFT die and adhered it to the cardbase. I added a strip of black cardstock where I heat embossed my sentiment (it says 'Congratulations') and adhered everything in place (I adhered the floral image with foam adhesives to give it a bit more interest). Lastly, I embellished my card with black enamel dots.

Tein kortin uusilla Altenew'n leimoillani. Tämä on Weekend Doodles -setistä. Väritin sen Copiceilla ja stanssasin irti. Taustalle laitoin MFT:n stanssilla stanssatun kehyksen, tekstileiman embossasin kartongin palaselle ja kiinnitin kaiken paikoilleen. Lopuksi koristelin kortin mustilla enamel dotseilla.

Penny Black Dreaming: Two Bears and a Mouse

This card mixes and matches different stamp sets from Penny Black's current release as well as a previous one. I started by stamping and colouring the critters with Copic markers. The big bear is a stamp called A Big Hug, the sitting bear is from the set Tea Party and the mouse is from the set It's Your Day. I then die cut the mouse the big bear with their matching dies and fussy cut the sitting bear. For the background, I cut a panel out of blue card stock and die cut windows in it with dies from Stitched Circles set. I also added a bit of  patterned paper from Wintertime paper pad behind the windows before adhering everything in place. I stamped the sentiment from It's Your Day stamp set onto a strip of white cardstock and adhered it in place. The blue 'twigs' are die cut with Garden Edgers die, I used only a couple of snippets from the row of grass that the die creates. Lastly, I added some white enamel dots.

Väritin ne Copiceilla ja stanssasin isoimman nallen ja hiirulaisen ja leikkasin istuvan nallen. Paneeliin stanssasin ikkunat Stitched Circles -setin stansseilla ja taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia Wintertime-paperikosta. Tekstileima on niin ikään It's Your Day -setistä ja nuo siniset 'korret' stanssasin Garden Edgers -stanssilla ja käytin vain osasia siitä. Lopuksi lisäsin vielä muutaman enamel dotsin. The Flower Challenge #35: Reminder - Muistutus

We're midway through our August challenge at The Flower Challenge and the theme for August is 'Use Your Favourite Flower'. We're sponsored by Clearly Besotted who will kindly give our winner a gift certificate of 20 GBP! Our Guest Designer is the very talented Therese Calvird.

I love peonies and chose to use Peonies in Bloom set by Mama Elephant. I watercoloured the peonies and die cut them out. I added some gold splatters with my watercolour brush and Sheer Shimmer Spritz to my card base before arranging the flowers and the leaves. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment ('Congratulating You').

Penny Black Dreaming: A Present

I think this cute teddy with his huge present is perfect for a birthday card, so that's what I made :) The stamp I used is a new one from the new Penny Black release called A Present. I stamped it onto a watercolour paper panel and coloured with my watercolours. I then die cut the upper right corner with Curved Stitch die and placed a piece of patterned paper behind it, the patterned paper is from the pad Painted Blooms. I then stamped the sentiment which is from the new set called Beautiful Heart and adhered the panel onto my cardbase. Lastly, I embellished the card with some enamel dots.

Nallukka lahjansa kera sopii hyvin synttärikorttiin, joten sellainen tästä tuli :) Leimakuva on Penny Blackin uusi A Present, leimasin sen vesiväripaperille ja väritin vesiväreillä. Sitten stanssasin yläkulman paneelista Curved Stitch -stanssilla ja laitoin tilalle kuviopaperia Painted Blooms -paperikosta. Tekstileima on uudesta Beautiful Heart -setistä. Penny Black Dreaming: Flower Collection

I have a floral card to share that I made with the new stamps and dies from the new collection by Penny Black called Dreaming. This stamp is from the set called Flower Collection, I stamped it onto watercolour paper and coloured with my Lukas Aquarell 1862 watercolours. I then used the largest die from the new die set,  Leaf Stitched Frames, and die cut the panel. After die cutting I left the die in place and softly sponged some Distress Oxide ink to the edges of the panel (the die left a white frame around the panel). Before adhering the panel to my card base, I stamped the sentiment which is from the new set called Beautiful Heart.
