You Are Wonderful Just as You Are

I realised I haven't coloured any Stamping Bella images for a long time and also found this particular stamp, Teeny Tiny Townie Love, in my stash and noticed that I've never actually used it so it was a obvious choice to colour. I decided to turn this into a Galentine's card so I didn't go for pinks and reds when colouring the image with my Copics. It doesn't show in the photo but I added loads of Nuvo Aqua Glitter pen to the word 'love' and also a silvery glitter pen to the dress of the girl carrying the letter L - so in real life this has more shimmer and glitter than is obvious from the photo! I die cut the frame using Lawn Fawn's Lacy Rectangle Stackables die and using a regular rectangle die to cut the middle part off so I was left with just the frame. The Finnish sentiment I used translates as 'You Are Wonderful Just as You Are'. I also used some pretty gems to embellish the card.

For Mother

Happy Mother's Day! I'm sharing the card I made for my own Mom. The stamp I used is Stamping Bella's Bundle Girl with a Cornflower, a little bundle of a girl with a huge flower - quite perfect for Mother's Day, I think. I coloured the image with my Copics, die cut the panel with My Favorite Things die and ink blended some Distress Oxide ink to it before stamping the sentiment (Finnish for 'For Mother'). I then die cut another panel with Lawn Fawn's Lacy Rectangle Stackables die and adhered the stitched edge panel onto it. For the background, I used some pretty patterned papers and a border die cut with an My Favorite Things die. Lastly, I embellished the card with some half pearls.

Balloons

Here's a card I made using a Stamping Bella stamp called Tiny Townie Blossom Loves Balloons.  I paper pieced her dress, otherwise I coloured the image with my Copics. I also added Stickles glitter glue to the frills on her dress. I die cut the panel with an MFT die leaving half of the balloons out of the panel. After stamping the sentiment, I added a piece of patterned paper on my card base and adhered the panel onto it with foam adhesives. Lastly, I embellished the card with some pink gems.

Happy Birthday

I think this little girl is so adorable, she looks like she has places to go and roses to deliver! She is Bundle Girl With A Rose by Stamping Bella, I coloured her with my Copics before cutting her with the matching die. In the background, there's some patterned paper, a frame die cut with Classy Frames by Penny Black and a sentiment (Finnish for 'Happy Birthday'). Also some gems as embellishments.

Hello

I went with sunny colours for this card - hoping it'll lure spring a little closer! The sweet stamp I used is from the Daisy Floral Set by Stamping Bella, I coloured the image with my Copics before cutting it with the matching die. I then die cut the white panel with Lawn Fawn's Lacy Rectangle Stackables die and added a panel of patterned paper (also by Lawn Fawn) behind it. I adhered the white panel with some foam adhesives for a bit of dimension. The die cut sentiment is Finnish for 'Hello', I added a generous amount of Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen on it for some lovely shimmer as well as on the little fairy's wings. Lastly, I embellished the card with some enamel dots.

Hayley the Hero

I wanted to send a little encouragement card to someone and thought that this Stamping Bella stamp called Tiny Townie Hayley the Hero would be perfect for the card. I coloured the image with my Copics before die cutting the panel with Penny Black's Lovely Border die. I left the die in place and sponged some Distress Oxide ink to the panel. The sentiment is from Penny Black's Words of Encouragement sentiment set. Lastly, I adhered the panel onto a piece of purple cardstock  before embellishing it with some gems.

Christmas Peace - Joulurauhaa

Here's a Christmas card I made using Tiny Townie Annie the Angel by Stamping Bella. I coloured her with my Copics and die cut the panel with Semi-Circle Stackers by Penny Black. I left the die in place and sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Antique Linen to the panel.  I placed some patterned paper behind the panel and added the die cut sentiment (it says 'Christmas Peace').

Christmas card - Joulukortti

I made this Christmas card with a stamp by Stamping Bella called Bundle Girl with Penguin. I stamped the image and coloured it with my Copics. I then used a die by Penny Black called Spirited to die cut the border which I then coloured with my Copics as well. I added a bit of patterned paper to the top of the card before stamping my sentiment ('Merry Christmas') on a die cut banner.

 I made a just because card with Stamping Bella's Curvy Girl Loves Autumn stamp. I coloured the image with my Copic markers and fussy cut it out. For the background, I combine some patterned papers and heat embossed my sentiment (also Stamping Bella) on a strip of brown cardstock die cut with an MFT die. I then embellished the card with a heart die cut with a Penny Black die and a little pearl.

I made a birthday card with this cute Stamping Bella stamp, it's Teeny Tiny Townie with a Bouquet. I coloured the image with my Copics. For the background, I added a bit of floral patterned paper and a panel die cut with Penny Black's Leaf Stitched Frames die. I added my sentiment (it says 'Huge Congrats') onto a sentiment strip die cut with an MFT die and embellished the card with some enamel dots.

Guest Designing at TIME OUT Challenges! - Vieraana TIME OUT Challengesissä!

I have the huge honour of being a Guest Designer for the current challenge at TIME OUT Challenges - thank you so much, ladies, for having me! The theme for this fortnight is 'Move'.

I interpreted the theme literally as moving one's body and this Yoga Mochi Girl by Stamping Bella sure does move her body! I wanted to keep the design clean and simple so I just coloured the image with my Copics and stamped the sentiment from Stamping Bella's Good Vibes sentiment set. I die cut the panel with Sewing Stackers die by Penny Black, added a bit of patterned paper behind it and embellished the card with some clear sequins.

Chrysanthemum - Krysanteemi

It's been a while since I last coloured this little Garden Girl so I needed to rectify that! This little cutie is Garden Girl Chrysanthemum and I coloured her with my Copics. I used some patterned papers for the background along with a die cut by My Favorite Things. The sentiment is half die cut and half heat embossed and it says 'Happy birthday'. I embellished the card with some sparkly gold enamel dots.

Life's been quite busy lately but today I had a chance to craft a bit so I decided to ink up one of my latest purchases. This is Penelope Has a Pencil by Stamping Bella. I coloured her with my Copics and added some patterned papers behind her. The sentiment is from the same stamp set, I added a tiny heart next to it.

AAA Birthday: March - Maaliskuu

 

It's time for a new challenge at AAA Birthday and this month we're asking you to use patterned paper. 

My card is bright and cheery with some gorgeous yellow patterned paper. The stamp I used is Flying Bee Gnome by Stamping Bella - I just love how excited that little gnome looks! I coloured the image with my Copics and fussy cut it. I die cut the circular frame with a My Favorite Things die and adhered some vellum behind it. I stamped my sentiment (it says, roughly translated, 'have a hilarious birthday') and embellished the card with some black enamel dots.

On a swing - Keinussa

I got this stamp by Stamping Bella some time ago but this is the first time I had a chance to ink it up. The stamp is called Bundle Girl on a Swing and I think it's so cute. I coloured the image with my Copics and stamped the sentiment (roughly translated: Happiness and light to you). Then I die cut the panel and die cut the pink mat behind it. I added some patterned paper behind it, adhered the panel onto it with foam adhesives and embellished the card with some enamel dots.

AAA Birthday: February - Helmikuu

The February challenge is live at AAA Birthday and this month we're asking you to use 'A Large Sentiment' on your birthday cards. We have  a Guest Designer as well, the lovely Helen is joining us.

For my DT card, I decided to use this lovely stamp by Stamping Bella called Edna Loves Ice Cream. I've had it for a while now but this is my first time using it. I coloured the image with my Copics and fussy cut it out. For my large sentiment, I used a die by Stamping Bella. The patterned papers are by Lili of the Valley and the frame is die cut with a MFT die. As embellishments, I used some glittery silver enamel dots.

The image is coloured with Copics and the sentiment (it wishes 'Peaceful Christmas Time') is heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I die cut the frame with an MFT die and added some Lili of the Valley patterned paper behind the panel. I wanted to keep the card very simple so I just added some gold sequins to embellish it.

Christmas in the heart - Joulu sydämessä

I know this stamp by Stamping Bella is an autumn themed stamp  but I really wanted to use her in a Christmas card so I coloured her in Christmassy colours with my Copics. I also used a sentiment stamp by Stamping Bella, heat embossed in gold on vellum and then framed with an MFT die cut. The little heart is die cut with a Lawn Fawn die and the patterned paper in the background is by Lili of the Valley.

Tekstileimakin on Stamping Bellaa embossattuna kultaisella vellumille ja MFT:n stanssilla stanssatulla kehyksellä kehystettynä. Sydän on stanssattu Lawn Fawnin stanssilla ja taustan paperi on Lili of the Valley'ä. 

Birthday girl - Päivänsankari

 I had so much fun colouring this image! This is Hayley the Hero by Stamping Bella and I coloured her with my Copics before fussy cutting her. For the background I simply added a piece of patterned paper and a frame die cut with a die by My Favorite Things. There's a little pun with the sentiment which I heat embossed in white. In Finnish there's no such term as 'birthday girl' or 'birthday boy', anyone celebrating their birthday is 'hero of the day' as my sentiment here says, and I thought it fits only too well with the stamped image, ha ha! I embellished my card with some black enamel dots.

Peaceful Christmas time - Rauhallista joulunaikaa

I've had this stamp for some time now and I've been itching to colour her and now I finally had some time to do it. This gorgeous stamp is called Bundle Girl with Penguin by Stamping Bella, I stamped her onto Copic friendly cardstock and colour her with my Copics. I wanted to keep the card simple so I just stamped the sentiment (it wishes 'Peaceful Christmas time') onto the panel that I die cut with an MFT die, matted the panel onto light grey cardstock and layered some patterned papers behind the panel. I decided not to embellish the card in any way.

En koristellut korttia mitenkään sen kummemmin, koska halusin pitää sen mahdollisimman simppelinä.
