Congrats! Congrats! - Onnea! Onnea!

I made a little birthday card with this cute Stamping Bella image from the Daisy Floral set. The colouring was done with Copics and there are tiny white Gelly Roll dots on her top and some clear Nuvo shimmer on her wings. I wanted to keep the card simple so I just added some pretty patterned paper die cut with a Penny Black die, a circle frame die cut with an MFT die and sentiment strip along with a couple of enamel dots. I stamped my sentiment twice on the strip, it says 'Congrats! Congrats!' in Finnish.

Simple - Yksinkertainen

A quick little CAS card I made with a floral stamp from the Daisy Floral set by Stamping Bella. I coloured the image with my Copics and die cut it out with its matching die. I then die cut a panel with Penny Black's Stitched Nested Frames die, masked a rectangle on it and sponged some grey ink on the panel. Then I adhered the flower in place and stamped my sentiment ('Congratulations' in Finnish) before adhering the panel onto my cardbase.

Nopsa CAS-kortti Stamping Bellan kukalla setistä Daisy Floral. Väritin leimakuvan Copiceilla ja stanssasin irti. Paneelin stanssasin Penny Blackin Stitched Nested Frames -stanssilla, maskasin siihen suorakulmion ja mustetin. Sitten kiinnitin kukan paikoilleen, leimasin tekstileiman ja kiinnitin paneelin korttipohjaan.

Monsters - Hirviöt

This is the second card I made for my son for his 7th birthday, this was given to him by his grandparents. It's quite an unusual card from me as there is no stamping at all! For the monsters I used Monster dies by Paper Smooches and did a quick Copic colouring to colour them in. I added some googly eyes for them and notice the green monster's smile - it's similar to my son's smile at the moment as his front baby tooth fell out just in time for his birthday! :D I die cut the circle windows into a panel of patterned paper and the frames for them out of cardstock, and added some patterned paper behind the windows. Lastly, I die cut the number '7' and attached everything in place.

Tein toisenkin kortin pojalleni, tämän hänelle antoivat isovanhempansa. Hieman erilainen kortti minulta, sillä en käyttänyt tähän ollenkaan leimoja! Hirviöt stanssasin Paper Smoochesin Monsters-stansseilla, väritin Copiceilla ja lisäsin nuo silmät. Vihreän hirviön hampaisiin on selityksensä - pojallani on nyt samanlainen hymy, kun etumaitohampaansa irtosi :D Taustan tein stanssaamalla ympyrät kuviopaperiin, stanssasin niille myös kehykset ja lisäsin kuviopaperia taakse. Lopuksi stanssasin numeron ja kiinnitin kaiken paikoilleen.

Seven - Seitsemän

My son is turning seven soon so I made him this birthday card. I chose the stamp Friendship by Penny Black as he loves dogs and would like to have one. However, we have two 'senior citizen' cats, so I think it's best not to shock them with a puppy just now.. Anyways, I coloured the image with my Copics and die cut it with its matching die, Friendship Cut Out. The sun is die cut with a die from that set too. I then die cut a couple of circle frames and adhered a bit of vellum behind them, and placed a bit of patterned paper in the background. Lastly, I adhered everything in place and added a number 7 to the sun.

Tämän kortin tein pian 7 vuotta täyttävälle pojalleni. Penny Blackin Friendship-leiman valitsin, koska poika pitää koirista ja haluaisi sellaisen itselleenkin. Meillä vain on kaksi kissavanhusta, joita ei viitsi järkyttää koiranpennulla... Leimakuvan väritin Copiceilla ja stanssasin irti. Auringon stanssasin Friendship Cut Out -stanssin mukana tulevalla 'ekstra-stanssilla' ja siihen lisäsin numeron 7. Sitten stanssasin pari ympyräkehystä, joiden taakse kiinnitin vellumia. Taustalle hieman kuviopaperia ja kaikki osaset kiinni.

Penny Black Share the Love: Potted Passion

Potted Passion is what this new stamp by Penny Black is called. A really lovely image, I think, and suitable for all kinds of cards, not just Valentine's or love themed. I coloured the image with my Copic markers and added a tiny bit of white gel pen to it before die cutting the panel with Stitches of Love die. I matted the panel onto kraft cardstock as I did to the patterned papers (from the paper pad Beau Jardins) in the background. The sentiment is from the same Potted Passion mini stamp set, I stamped it onto a strip of kraft cardstock. I embellished the card with a bit of twine tied into a bow and some hearts die cut with Bear-y Much Cut Out die.

Penny Black Share the Love: Up and Away

I'm sharing the love again with a new stamp from the new Penny Black release called - yes! - Share the Love. This time I decided to make a friendship card with this sweet heart balloon image called Up and Away. I stamped it onto a panel of kraft cardstock, masked the circle around it and sponged some Distress Oxide ink to the panel to create a circular frame. I then coloured the image with my Copic markers. I heat embossed the sentiment from Snippets sentiment set onto a strip of dark brown cardstock, attached it in place and added a couple of hearts as embellishments. The hearts I die cut with Bear-y Much Cut Out die. Lastly, I adhered the panel onto a white square cardbase.

Penny Black Share the Love: Fur-Ever Yours & Bear-y Much

I have loads of bear-y cuteness to share today! I made two cards with two different stamps from the new Penny Black release called Share the Love, both feature a very cute bear. The circle card below features Fur-Ever Yours stamp, I just love that cute bear declaring his love with all his might! I watercoloured him and cut him out with the matching die, Fur-Ever Yours Cut Out. I stamped the sentiment from Bear-y Much stamp set, half of it onto the heart and half of it onto the white sentiment strip. I then die cut the circle cardbase and the patterned paper (from Painted Blooms paper pad) circle with regular circle dies and the white doily-looking circle with Penny Black's Stitched Square & Circles die. I tied a bit of baker's twine around the smallest circle and attached the circles and the bear in place. Using Bear-y Much Cut Out, I die cut different sized hearts out of pink cardstock and attached them in place. Lastly, I added some sticky back pearls to the hearts.

For the second card, I used the new stamp Bear-y Much. I coloured it with my watercolours as well and die cut it out using Bear-y Much Cut Out. For the background, I used some patterned paper from Beau Jardins paper pad and a panel that I die cut with the new Stitches of Love die. I used sentiment from the new sentiment set Hug Me (I only used a part of it, the whole sentiment says 'Be mine. Hug me. Kiss me.') and stamped it onto a strip of white cardstock. I embellished the card with a heart die cut with Bear-y Much Cut Out and a paper clip that I die cut with Just a Note die set.
