Heart trail - Sydämiä poluksi asti

I treated myself to some new stamps and here's the first card I made with one of them. The stamp I used is the sweet Bundle Girl with Heart Trail and I coloured the image with my Copics. I then die cut the panel with Penny Black's Curved Stitch die and stamped my sentiment on it (it says 'A hug for you'). I added a bit of patterned paper behind the panel and embellished the card by adding a tiny tag with a heart to the twine before tying it into a bow.

Ostin muutaman uuden leiman ja tämän tein yhdellä niistä. Leimakuva on Stamping Bellan ihana Bundle Girl with Heart Trail, jonka väritin Copiceilla. Paneelin stanssasin Penny Blackin Stitched Curve -stanssilla, lisäsin taustalle kuviopaperia ja koristelin kortin nyörillä, johon pujotin pienen tägin. Tekstileiman leimasin paneeliin. 

Stellar 10 - Tähdellinen 10

Here's the second birthday card I made for my son (see the first one here), this is from us to him. The stamp I used is by Tiddly Inks and from the set 'My Boys'. I coloured it with my Copics and fussy cut it out. For the background, I used a bit of patterned paper and a star die cut with a Lawn Fawn die. I also added the die cut numbers.

Tässä toinen synttärikortti, jonka pojallemme (ensimmäinen siis täällä). Käytin tähän Tiddly Inksin leimaa setistä My Boys, väritin sen Copiceilla ja leikkasin irti. Taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia, Lawn Fawnin stanssilla stanssatun tähden ja numerot.

It's soon my son's 10th birthday and as usual, I've made him two birthday cards. This is the first one and will be given to him by his grandparents. The stamped image is called Tree House and it's by Lili of the Valley. I coloured it with my watercolours before die cutting the panel with Simple Stackers die by Penny Black. I used a bit of patterned paper for the background and added the die cut numbers.

Meillä on pian 10-vuotissynttärit ja tein sankarille pari synttärikorttia, kuten aina.  Tämä on niistä ensimmäinen ja tämän hän saa isovanhemmiltaan. Leimakuva tässä on Lili of the Valleyn Tree House, jonka väritin vesiväreillä ennen kuin stanssasin paneelin Penny Blackin Simple Stackers -stanssilla. Taustalle hieman kuviopaperia ja stanssatut numerot paneeliin.

Flowers - Kukkia

I think this floral cluster by Waffle Flower is so beautiful on its own that it doesn't really need much else, so the birthday card I made with it is quite simple. Just the floral image coloured with Copics, a bit of patterned paper and a frame plus a sentiment (it says 'Congratulations') and some clear sequins as embellishments.

PBSC April - Huhtikuu

We are mid-way through our April challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge and our theme for April is, as always, 'Anything Goes' and the optional theme is 'Use Ribbon/Twine'.

For my card, I used the gorgeous floral stamp Blushing peeking out of the envelope from the set Exquisite Envelope, both by Penny Black. I coloured them with my watercolours and die cut them with their matching dies. For the background, I used some patterned paper matted onto cardstock and a circle frame die cut with Stitched Square and Circles dies by Penny Black. I used a bit of twine around the envelope and stamped my sentiment (it says 'A hug for you').

Penny Black Saturday Challengessä on huhtikuun haaste puolessa välissä, aiheena on 'Anything Goes' ja valinnaisena aiheena 'Use Ribbon/Twine'. Omaan korttiini käytin Blushing-kukkaleimaa ja kirjekuorta setistä Exquisite Envelope, molemmat väritin vesiväreillä ja stanssasin irti. On your birthday - Syntymäpäivänäsi

I made a birthday card today with a stamp by Stamping Bella called Mason Jar of Flowers. I coloured the image with my Copics and die cut it out. For the background, I die cut the white panel with a Penny Black die called Diamond Cut and adhered it in place. I heat embossed my sentiment (it says 'On your birthday') on a strip of cardstock and adhered that in place. Lastly, I adhered the stamped image in place with foam adhesives. I embellished the card with some enamel dots.

Tekstileiman embossasin valkoisella. Kiinnitin kaiken paikoilleen, leimakuvan kohotarroilla, ja koristelin lopulta enamel dotseilla.

Spring birthday card - Keväinen synttärikortti

I made a little birthday card with this lovely stamp by Penny Black called Unfolding. I stamped it onto watercolour paper, coloured with my watercolours and sponged some Distress Oxide inks to the panel. I then stamped my sentiment ('Congrats' in Finnish) before matting the panel onto some green cardstock and finally onto kraft coloured cardbase.

Keväinen synttärikortti syntyi Penny Blackin Unfolding-leimalla, jonka väritin vesiväreillä. Mustetin paneelin reunoja Distress Oxide -musteilla, kerrostin vihreälle kartongille ja lopulta korttipohjaan. Tekstileiman leimasin paneeliin.
