AAA Birthday: November - Marraskuu

November challenge at AAA Birthday is on! This month we're asking you to create a birthday card for a child. Our Guest Designer this month is the talented Karthikha. We also have a DT call so if you'd like to be considered, please head over to AAA Birthday for all the details.

I created my card for a little boy turning seven. I used a stamp by Lili of the Valley called Riding My Bike and coloured the image with my Copics. I die cut the panel with a die by My Favorite Things and added some patterned paper behind it. I embellished the card with the number 7 and some little tags adhered with a brad.

Marraskuun haaste on alkanut AAA Birthdayssä ja aiheena on 'For a Child' eli lapselle pitäisi tehdä synttärikortti. Guest Designerina meillä on tällä kertaa Karthikha. Meillä on myös menossa DT-haku, joten jos pesti kiinnostaa, niin kurkkaa AAA Birthdaystä hakuohjeet.

Oman korttini tein 7 vuotta täyttävälle pojalle Lili of the Valleyn leimalla Riding My Bike, jonka väritin Copiceilla. Paneelin stanssasin My Favorite Thingsin stanssilla ja taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia. Kortin koristelin numerolla 7 ja parilla pienellä stanssatulla tägillä, jotka kiinnitin haaraniitillä.

Penny Black Season of Hope: Birdhouse Blessings

I'm sharing another Christmas card made with stamps and dies from the new Season of Hope collection by Penny Black.

For this card, I used a sweet stamp called Birdhouse Blessings. I stamped it onto watercolour paper and coloured with my watercolours. I die cut the panel using a die from the new frame die set Graceful Stackers (I am loving this die set by the way, each die has a different shape to it and still they coordinate beautifully so you can die cut frames as well as panels), left the die in place and sponged some Distress Oxide ink to the panel. The sentiment is from the new sentiment set Christmas Feeling. After stamping the sentiment, I adhered the panel onto dark green cardbase.

Tämä kortti syntyi uudella Birdhouse Blessings -leimalla, joka on osa uutta Penny Blackin kokoelmaa Season of Hope. Väritin leimakuvan vesiväreillä ja stanssasin paneelin Graceful Stackers -stanssisetin isoimmalla stanssilla. Jätin taas stanssin paikoilleen ja mustetin paneelia Distress Oxide -musteella. Tekstileima on setistä Christmas Feeling. En koristellut korttia sen kummemmin vaan kiinnitin sen vain tummanvihreälle korttipohjalle. Kaikki käytetyt stanssit ja leimat ovat siis Penny Blackin ja saatavana nettikaupastaan, linkit tuotteisiin yllä. 

Penny Black Season of Hope: Kindness & Joy

I love cute snowmen and I think this snowman with his little birdie friends is the cutest ever! This stamp called Kindness & Joy is a part of the new Penny Black release called Season of Hope that includes loads of gorgeous holiday stamps and dies.

I coloured the snowman with my Copics and used the matching die, Kindness & Joy Cut Out, to die cut it. The panel is die cut with a die from the new frame die set called Graceful Stackers. I left the die in place and sponged some Distress Oxide inks to colour the panel and then removed the die to reveal the white border around the panel. I chose a sentiment from the new sentiment set called Christmas Feeling and stamped it onto the panel. I then added a layer of craft foam behind the panel to give it a bit of 3-D effect before adhering it to my card base. To embellish the card, I added a die cut branch behind the panel, it's die cut with the new Juniper die, and some clear sequins.

Penny Blackilta on tullut uusia joululeimasimia ja -stansseja, kokoelma on nimeltään Season of Hope, ja tämä ihana lumiukko on osa sitä. Leiman nimi on Kindness & Joy ja sille on mätsäävä stanssikin, Kindness & Joy Cut Out. Väritin lumiukon Copiceilla ja stanssasin sen irti. Taustan paneelin stanssasin Graceful Stackers -stanssisetin stanssilla, jätin stanssin paikoilleen ja mustetin paneelin Distress Oxideilla ennen kuin irrotin stanssin, näin sain valkoisen reunuksen paneeliin. Tekstileima on setistä Christmas Feeling, leimasin sen paneeliin ennen kuin laitoin hieman fun foamia paneelin taakse, jotta sain sen koholle korttipohjasta. Lopuksi koristelin kortin Juniper-stanssilla stanssatulla oksalla ja kirkkailla paljeteilla. Kaikki käytetyt tuotteet ovat siis Penny Blackin ja saatavilla nettikaupastaan, linkit tuotteisiin yllä.

Cute - Söpö

I wanted to make something super cute so I decided to colour this sweet image by Lili of the Valley. It's an older stamp called Pom Pom and I coloured it with my Copics before die cutting the panel with a die by MFT. I then added some Stickles glitter glue to her sweet little skirt. I placed some patterned paper in the background, stamped a birthday sentiment on a sentiment strip die cut with an MFT die and added a heart die cut with a Lawn Fawn die. I also used a super sparkly gem and some twine to embellish the card.

Olin söpistely-fiiliksellä ja väritin tämän Lili of the Valleyn supersöpön leimakuvan Pom Pom. Värityksen tein Copiceilla ja hameeseen lisäsin Sticklesiä. Paneelin stanssasin MFT:n stanssilla samoin kuin tekstistripin. Taustalle kuviopaperia ja koristeiksi Lawn Fawnin stanssilla stanssattu sydän, kimalteleva "nappi" ja hieman nyöriä.

Eucalyptus - Eukalyptus

I love the look of no line watercolouring but dang it, it's so difficult to do! I've been practising it and so far this is my best effort (still need loads of practise though...). I used a stamp from Breathe In, Breathe Out stamp set by Create a Smile and coloured it with my watercolours. I wanted to keep the card simple so I just splattered some grey watercolour on it, stamped my sentiment (translates as 'Huge congratulations') and matted the panel onto dark grey cardstock before adhering to light grey card base.

No line -vesiväritys on niin kaunista mutta myös niin vaikeaa..! Olen sitä koittanut harjoitella ja tässä toistaiseksi paras yritys. Leimana käytin Create a Smilen Breathe In, Breathe Out -setin eukalyptusta ja väritin, kuten sanottua, vesiväreillä. Halusin pitää kortin simppelinä, joten roiskin siihen vähän harmaata vesiväriä, leimasin Heidin Korttipajan tekstileiman ja kerrostin kartongille ennen korttipohjaan kiinnittämistä.

Rose Garden - Ruusutarha

I made a birthday card with one of my latest acquisitions, this gorgeous stamp is Rose Garden by My Favorite Things - a lovely stamp to colour! I coloured it using my Copics and die cut it with its matching die. I wanted the stamped image to take center stage so I kept the background quite simple: just a bit of patterned paper and a simple frame die cut with rectangle dies. The sentiment says something like 'Heartfelt congratulations'. I embellished the card with some clear sequins.

Tämän synttärikortin tein yhdellä uusimmista hankinnoistani, tämä leima on My Favorite Thingsin Rose Garden. Väritin sen Copiceilla ja stanssasin mätsäävällä stanssilla. Halusin pitää taustan yksinkertaisena, joten käytin vain hieman kuviopaperia ja laitoin simppelin kehyksen. Lisäksi vain tekstileima ja muutama paljetti.

Penny Black Autumn Extraordinaire: Hugs & Cuddles

  

It's reminder time at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. Our theme for October is, as always, Anything Goes with the optional theme of Too Cute to Spook!

For my DT card, I used this cute little fox from the new Hugs & Cuddles stamp set coloured with my Zig Markers. I placed him and some leaves from the new Falling Leaves stamp set and the acorns from the new Bountiful Beauty stamp set into the cute little envelope from Exquisite Envelope set, all coloured with Zig Markers. I stamped my sentiment from Snippets sentiment set onto the envelope and placed a circular frame behind it, die cut with Stitched Circles dies. For the background I used patterned paper from Gentle Whisper paper pad matted onto brown cardstock. Lastly, I embellished the card with sequins.

Lisäksi laitoin sinne lehtiä, jotka leimailin Falling Leaves -setin leimoilla ja tammenterhot setistä Bountiful Beauty. Väritin ne kaikki Zigeillä. Tekstileima on setistä Snippets ja taustapaperi paperikosta Gentle Whisper. Lopuksi koristelin kortin paljeteilla.
