Chrysanthemum - Krysanteemi

It's been a while since I last coloured this little Garden Girl so I needed to rectify that! This little cutie is Garden Girl Chrysanthemum and I coloured her with my Copics. I used some patterned papers for the background along with a die cut by My Favorite Things. The sentiment is half die cut and half heat embossed and it says 'Happy birthday'. I embellished the card with some sparkly gold enamel dots.

Tätä Stamping Bellan leimaa en ole hetkeen värittänyt, joten pitihän tilanne korjata :) Tämä on Garden Girl Chrysanthemum, jonka väritin Copiceilla. Taustalle laitoin kuviopapereita ja My Favorite Thingsin stanssilla stanssatun reunuksen. Teksti on stanssattu ja embossattu Korttipajan stansseilla ja leimoilla. Koristeina enamel dotseja.

Penny Black Daydream: Viridescent

I'm sharing two CAS cards I made with Penny Black's new Viridescent die.

For the first card, I die cut the beautiful branch from white cardstock and die cut the green panel with the new Sewing Stackers die. For the sentiment I used the new Thanks & Hello die, I die cut it straight onto the green panel so that the white card base shows through. I also added a tiny heart on the centre of the 'O' that I die cut with Hearts Galore die. Lastly, I embellished the card with some sticky back pearls.

I thought that the negative die cut that was left after I die cut the branch for the card above was really beautiful on its own, so I decided to use it on a card as well. I simply adhered it onto some patterned paper from the Beau Jardins paper pad that I adhered on my card base. I heat embossed my sentiment from the sentiment set Snippets onto a strip of light grey cardstock and adhered it in place with foam adhesives. Lastly, I embellished the card with sticky back pearls as well.

Tein kaksi kortti Penny Blackin uudella Viridescent-stanssilla. Ensimmäiseen korttiin stanssasin oksan valkoisesta kartongista ja taustan paneelin vihreästä kartongista Sewing Stackers -stanssilla.  Tekstin stanssasin Thanks & Hello -stanssilla suoraan paneeliin niin, että korttipohja näkyy läpi. Lisäsin O:n keskelle pienen sydämen, jonka stanssasin Hearts Galore -stanssilla. Koristelin kortin puolihelmillä.

Edellisen kortin teosta jäänyt stanssatun kuvion negatiivi oli mielestäni myös kaunis, joten päätin käyttää senkin korttiin. Kiinnitin sen kuviopaperille Beau Jardins -paperikosta ja embossasin tekstin Snippets-setin tekstileimalla, kiinnitin sen tarrapaloilla. Lopulta koristelin kortin niin ikään puolihelmillä.

Field of flowers - Kukkaniitty

This stamped image took a couple of nights to colour but it was worth it as I enjoyed every minute of it! There's such a lot to color in this beautiful stamp. The stamp I used is Tender Blooms by Waffle Flower Crafts and I coloured the image with my Copics. The image itself is so full that I wanted to keep the rest of the card simple so I just splattered some white watercolour onto my cardbase and added a strip of brown cardstock onto which I adhered a die cut sentiment (it says 'congrats').

Tässä leimakuvassa riitti väritettävää! Tämä ihanuus on Waffle Flower Craftsin Tender Blooms, jonka väritin Copiceilla. Leima itsessään on niin runsas, että halusin pitää kortin muuten simppelin. Roiskin vain hieman valkoista vesiväriä korttipohjaan ja stanssasin tekstin, jonka kiinnitin ruskeaan kartonkisuikaleeseen. 

Spring Flower - Kevätkukkanen

I think this floral stamp by Waffle Flower Crafts is just so beautiful and I wanted to try a new-to-me Copic colour combo (RV34, RV32, R30, R01) to colour it. I really like how the colour turned out! I also used some patterned paper, a frame die (Sewing Stackers) by Penny Black and a sentiment die (it says 'Congrats') along with a couple of golden gems to make the card.

Tämä Waffle Flower Craftsin kukka on kaunis ja halusin koittaa minulle uutta Copic-väriyhdistelmää (RV34, RV32, R30, R01) sen värittämiseen ja aika lailla tykästyin lopputulokseen. Taustalle käytin kuviopaperia, kehyksen stanssasin Penny Blackin Sewing Stackers -stanssilla ja tekstin stanssasin Korttipajan stanssilla. Lisäksi muutama bling-blingi.

Penny Black Daydream: Garden Variety

We're midway through the March challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge where the theme is Anything Goes with the optional theme of Flowers.

In my DT card, I used the new brushstroke stamp called Garden Variety from the Daydream release by Penny Black. I coloured straight onto the stamp with my Zig markers and stamped the image. I die cut the panel with the new Sewing Stackers dies, left the die in place and added a bit of sky to the image by sponging some Distress Oxide ink in Salty Ocean to the panel. After I took the die off, I had a nice white border around the image. I also splattered some gold ink to the panel. I die cut the sentiment using the new Thanks & Hello die and used some patterned paper from the paper pad Gentle Whisper for the background.

Life's been quite busy lately but today I had a chance to craft a bit so I decided to ink up one of my latest purchases. This is Penelope Has a Pencil by Stamping Bella. I coloured her with my Copics and added some patterned papers behind her. The sentiment is from the same stamp set, I added a tiny heart next to it.

Penny Black Daydream: Daydream

I think these look like the happiest little flowers ever! The stamp I used is a new brushstroke stamp by Penny Black called Daydream. I coloured directly on the stamp with my Zig markers and stamped it onto my watercolour paper before misting the stamp lightly with water and stamping once again. I also splattered some yellow and black watercolour onto the stamped image before die cutting the panel with the new dies called Sewing Stackers and matting the panel onto some brown cardstock before adhering it to my yellow cardbase. The sentiment I used is from the sentiment set Smiles.
