AAA Birthday: September - Syyskuu

The September challenge is live at AAA Birthday and this time the theme is Not a Card. Our Guest Designer for September is Marieke.

I decided to make a gift tag. The cute bunny is from the set Dandelion Wishes by Mama Elephant, I coloured him with my Copics and die cut him out with the matching dies. I created the tag using Tags a Lot dies by Mama Elephant and created a little scene on it using a piece of patterned paper and dies from the Hanging Planters die set by Penny Black. Lastly, I embellished the tag with a little bow.

Päätin tehdä pienen lahjatagin, johon käytin pupua Mama Elephant -setistä Dandelion Wishes. Pupusen väritin Copiceilla. Tagiin käytin Mama Elephant -stansseja Tags a Lot ja viimeistelin sen palasella kuviopaperia ja Penny Blackin Hanging Planters -stanssisetin stansseilla tehdyillä oksilla.

Guest Designing at AAA Cards - Vieraana AAA Cardsissa

I have the huge honour of being the Guest Designer for the current challenge at AAA Cards - thank you so much, ladies, for having me! The theme is Up to One Third with the optional twist of Leaves.

I decided to go for the optional twist and used stamps from the Winnie & Walter set Renee's Leaves. I coloured the stamped images with my Copics using autumnal colours. For the background, I masked the upper corner and sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Brushed Corduroy along the upper one third of my card base. I then arranged and adhered the leaves, added the heat embossed sentiment (from the Snippets set by Penny Black), and embellished the card with a little twine bow and a single enamel dot.

Minulla on kunnia olla Guest Designer tämänkertaisessa AAA Cards -haasteessa. Teemana on Up to One Third ja vaihtoehtoinen twisti on Leaves.

Omaan korttiini käytin leimoja Winnie & Walterin setistä Renee's Leaves, leimakuvat väritin Copiceilla. Korttipohjaan maskasin kulman ja mustetin yläkolmannesta Distress Oxide -musteen sävyllä Brushed Corduroy. Sitten kiinnitin lehdet paikoilleen, lisäsin embossatun tekstin (Penny Blackin setistä Snippets) ja koristelin kortin pienellä rusetilla ja yhdellä enamel dotsilla.

PBSC: September - Syyskuu

It's September already and time for a new challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. The theme is, as always, Anything Goes with the optional theme of the month being Embossing - Wet or Dry. As our Guest Designer, we have the talented Loll.

For my card, I used the gorgeous Florescence stamp by Penny Black and I coloured the image with my Copics. I wanted to keep the card simple, so for the background I simply masked a rectangle on my card base and sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Bundled Sage on it. After removing the masking tape, I adhered a frame to the sponged rectangle that I had die cut with Looped Stackers die. I then heat embossed a sentiment from Trust Me Builder sentiment set onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered it in place.

Oman korttini tein Penny Blackin ihanalla Florescence-leimalla, leimakuvan väritin Copiceilla. Halusin pitää kortin simppelinä, joten taustalle maskasin vain suorakulmion, jonka mustetin Distress Oxide -musteella sävyssä Bundled Sage. Maskauksen jälkeen kiinnitin suorakulmioon kehyksen, jonka stanssasin Looped Stackers -stanssilla. Tekstileiman setistä Trust Me Builder embossasin mustalle kartonkisuikaleelle ja kiinnitin paikoilleen. 

Birthday Card - Syntymäpäiväkortti

I made a birthday card with a gorgeous floral stamp by Penny Black called Floral Medley. I coloured the image with my Copics. I adhered a piece of patterned paper on my card base and a frame die cut with regular rectangle dies. I then adhered the image with foam adhesives and adhered the die cut sentiment (it says 'Congrats') on top of the image. Lastly, I embellished the card with some gold enamel dots.

Tämän syntymäpäiväkortin tein Penny Blackin leimalla Floral Medley, leimakuvan väritin Copiceilla. Taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia ja kultaisen stanssatun kehyksen. Leimakuvan kiinnitin kohotarroilla ja siihen päälle kiinnitin stanssatun tekstin. Lopuksi koristelin kortin enamel dotseilla.

PBSC: August - Elokuu

The August challenge is half-way through at Penny Black Saturday Challenge but fear not, you still have plenty of time to enter. Our theme is Anything Goes with the optional theme of Interactive. So get your Penny Black stamps out and get playing!

I chose the Anything Goes theme and chose to play with an older PB stamp called Unforgettable, and I  coloured the image with my Copics. For the background, I die cut a panel using Graceful Stackers die by Penny Black. Before I lifted the die out of its place, I sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Tattered Rose to the edges of the panel. I heat embossed a sentiment from the Trust Me Builder sentiment set on a strip of black cardstock and adhered it in place. Lastly, I embellished the card with some sequins.

Elokuun haaste Penny Black Saturday Challengessä on puolessa mutta vielä ehtii osallistua! Aiheena on Anything Goes ja vaihtoehtoisena aiheena on Interactive.

Itse valitsin Anything Goes -teeman ja käytin vanhempaa Penny Black -leimaa nimeltään Unforgettable. Leimakuvan väritin Copiceilla. Taustalle stanssasin paneelin Graceful Stackers -stansseilla ja ennen kuin irrotin stanssin, mustetin paneelin reunoja Distress Oxide -musteen sävyllä Tattered Rose. Tekstileima on setistä Trust Me Builder, embossasin sen valkoisella mustalle kartonkisuikaleelle. Lopuksi koristelin kortin paljeteilla.

On your special day - Juhlapäivänäsi

 I wanted to make a floral birthday card and chose this lovely stamp called Harmony by Penny Black. I watercoloured the image with my Zig markers. For the background, I used some patterned paper splattered with purple watercolour and a circle frame die cut with Penny Black's Stitched Circles dies. I stamped my sentiment (it translates as 'On your special day') on a banner die cut with Penny Black's Pocket and Banners die. Lastly, I embellished the card with some rhinestones.

Tein tämän synttärikortin Penny Blackin Harmony-leimalla. Leimakuvan väritin Zigeillä. Taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia, johon roiskin liilaa vesiväriä ja ympyräkehyksen, jonka stanssasin Penny Blackin Stitched Circles -stansseilla. Tekstin leimasin bannerille, jonka stanssasin Penny Blackin Pocket and Banners -stansseilla.

PBSC: August - Elokuu

It's August already and time for a new challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. As always, the theme is Anything Goes and this time the optional theme is Interactive. 

I decided to go with the Anything Goes theme and create a floral birthday card. I once again used this gorgeous field of flowers by Penny Black called Delight. I coloured the image with my Copics and sponged some Distress Oxide ink to the edges of the panel before layering it onto a piece of cardstock and then kraft coloured cardbase. I die cut my sentiment (i says 'Congrats') and adhered it onto a banner that I embellished with some twine. Lastly, I embellished the whole card with clear sequins.

On elokuun haasteen aika Penny Black Saturday Challengessä ja teemana on Anything Goes vaihtoehtoisen teeman ollessa Interactive.

Itse valitsin Anything Goes -teeman ja käytin taas tätä ihanaa Penny Blackin kukkapeltoa nimeltään Delight. Leimakuvan väritin Copiceilla ja mustetin reunoja Distress Oxide -musteella, minkä jälkeen kerrostin paneelin ensin kartonkiin ja sitten korttipohjaan. Teksti on Korttipajan stanssilla stanssattu, kiinnitin sen pienelle bannerille, jonka koristelin nyörillä. Koko kortin koristelin kirkkailla paljeteilla.
