Flowers - Kukkia

 I made a slimline card with this gorgeous stamp by Pinkfresh Studio called Miss Your Smile. I coloured the image with my Copics and die cut the slimline shape with Slimline Medley die by Penny Black. While the die was still in place, I sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Antique Linen onto the panel. After removing the die, I stamped the sentiment - it says 'Congrats'. Lastly, I embellished the card with some clear sequins.

Stanssin ollessa vielä paikoillaan mustetin paneelia Distress Oxide -musteen sävyllä Antique Linen. Lopuksi leimasin tekstin ja koristelin kortin muutamalla kirkkaalla paljetilla.

Sending hope - Toivoa

Here's a very simple one-layer card I made with the Dream Big stamp by Colorado Craft Company. I stamped the image, coloured it with my Karin markers and added a bit of Stickles to the star. I then masked the edges and sponged some Distress inks to the rectangle before heat embossing the sentiment. Lastly, I splattered some gold spray to the panel.

Yksinkertainen one-layer-kortti Colorado Craft Companyn setillä Dream Big. Väritin leimakuvan Karin-tusseilla ja lisäsin tähteen Sticklesiä. Reunat maskasin ja mustetin suorakulmion Distress-musteilla. Tekstileima on embossattu. Lopuksi roiskin paneeliin vielä kultaspraytä.

PBSC: March - Maaliskuu

The March challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge is now live and our theme is Anything Goes or Bright Colours.

This time I chose the optional theme and went for bright colours. The stamp I used is from the set Bunches of Love by Penny Black. I coloured it with Karin markers before die cutting it with its matching die, Bunches of Love Cut Out. For the background, I chose patterned paper from the paper pad Beau Jardin. I also die cut a bit of cardstock with Curved Stitch die and placed it on the side of the card. I stamped my sentiment from the sentiment set Snippets and tied a bit of twine around the edge. I then die cut an element with Rustic Borders die and adhered it to the letter before adhering the stamped image with some foam adhesives. Lastly, I embellished the stamped image with some sticky back pearls.

Maaliskuun haaste on alkanut Penny Black Saturday Challengessä ja aiheena on Anything Goes tai Bright Colours. 

Itse valitsin vaihtoehtoisen aiheen ja kirkkaat värit. Leimakuva on setistä Bunches of Love, väritin sen Karin-tusseilla ja stanssasin mätsäävällä stanssilla setistä Bunches of Love Cut Out. Taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia paperikosta Beau Jardin ja reunuksen stanssasin Curved Stitch -stanssilla. Tekstileima on setistä Snippets, leimasin sen reunukseen ja laitoin siihen hieman nyöriä. Leimakuvan kuoreen laitoin koristeen, jonka stanssasin Rustic Borders -stanssilla. Lopulta kiinnitin leimakuvan kohotarroilla ja koristelin sen puolihelmillä. Happiness and light to you - Iloa ja valoa sinulle

Here's a card I made with a stamp from the Colorado Craft Company set 4 Leaf Clover. I know the hamster is supposed to stand in a field of clovers but I wanted to try and turn them into little flowers so I coloured them yellow. I think they look nice this way too.

I coloured the image with my Karin markers and die cut the panel with Penny Black's Semi-Circle Stackers die. After die cutting, I left the die in place and sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Salty Ocean to the panel to make the sky. I also splattered the image with some gold spray. The sentiment I used says something like 'Happiness and light to you'. I matted the panel onto some dark blue cardstock and embellished the clover/flower the hamster is holding with a rhinestone.

Tämä kortti syntyi leimalla Colorado Craft Companyn setistä 4 Leaf Clover. Apiloitahan nuo pitäisi olla mutta halusin koittaa, voisiko ne muuttaa kukiksi, joten väritin ne keltaisella. Toimii ehkä näinkin.

Leimakuvan väritin Karin-tusseilla ja stanssasin paneelin Penny Blackin Semi-Circle Stackers -stanssilla. Jätin stanssin paikalleen ja mustetin paneelia Distress Oxide -musteella, jotta sain aikaan taivaan. Roiskin siihen myös kultaspraytä. Tekstileima on Heidin Korttipajan. Kiinnitin paneelin tummansiniselle kartongille ja koristelin hamsterin kädessä olevan apilan/kukan pienellä timantilla. 

Sunflowers - Auringonkukat

Sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine. It felt right to colour up some sunflowers and to show support to the unbelievably courageous people of Ukraine who fight for their freedom and defend themselves against one man's madness.

Penny Black Masterpieces Made Simple: Critter Cuddles

Penny Black has a new line of products called Masterpieces Made Simple which are pre-printed panels ready for cardmaking. I love these panels as they make cardmaking really quick and easy. These two panels that I've used come from the set Critter Cuddles.

For the first card, I die cut the panel with Graceful Stackers die. The sentiment I used comes from the set Love Quotes. I added a bit of diecutting as well: the branches are die cut with Blustery dies and the cute little heart balloon is die cut with Heart Balloons die. I adhered the Masterpieces Made Simple panel onto some craft foam before adhering it to a panel I die cut with Zig-Zag Stackers die. On the background, I adhered some patterned paper from the paper pad Gentle Whisper. Lastly, I embellished the card with some white enamel dots.

On the second card, I used the panel as it is. I simply stamped a sentiment from Snippets sentiment set onto it, added a little heart next to it die cut with Hearts Galore die before embellishing the panel with some twine and a sticky back pearl. I adhered the Masterpieces Made Simple panel onto a panel die cut with Zig-Zag Stackers die before adhering it all to my cardbase. Quick and simple!

Lisäsin paneeliin hieman stanssattuja elementtejä: oksat stanssilla Blustery ja ilmapallo stanssilla Heart Balloons. Muutaman valkoisen enamel dotsinkin lisäsin. Taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia paperikosta Gentle Whisper.

Toiseen korttiin käytin paneelia sellaisenaan, leimasin siihen vain tekstileiman setistä Snippets ja laitoin hieman nyöriä ja puolihelmen. Taustalle laitoin Zig-Zag Stackers -stanssilla stanssatun paneelin.

Penny Black Bunches of Love: Special Someone

Happy Valentine's Day! Here's a love-themed card made with a stamp from a new stamp set by Penny Black called Special Someone.

I stamped the image on kraft coloured cardstock and then coloured it with Copics. I die cut the 'torn' edge with a die from the die set Border Collection and placed a piece of cardstock underneath it that I had stamped with a stamp from Footnotes stamp set. The sentiment is die cut with a die from Heartfelt die set. I also added a little heart that I had die cut with Heart Charms die, embellished with a single half pearl.
