Penny Black Dreaming: Ballet Beauty

This sweet little ballerina is called Ballet Beauty, it's a new stamp by Penny Black from their newest collection, Dreaming. I stamped her on watercolour paper, coloured with my watercolours and fussy cut her out. I also added a bit of Stickles glitter glue on her tutu. For the background, I used patterned paper from Gentle Whisper paper pad and die cut a window using a die from Stitched Circles set. I then stamped my sentiment (from an older set called Snippets) onto my card base and adhered the patterned paper panel onto the card base. I also adhered the little ballerina onto my card so that she's looking through the window into her dreams (yes, I'm being a bit poetic here.. :D ). I die cut the little flowers with a die from the set Hanging Planters and used them as confetti on the card, glueing them here and there. I also used one flower in her hair as an accessory.

Tämä suloinen tyttönen on Penny Blackin uusi leima Ballet Beauty, jonka leimasin vesiväripaperille, väritin vesiväreillä ja leikkasin irti. Tytön tutuun laitoin Stickles-kimalleliimaa. Taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia Gentle Whisper -paperikosta, leikkasin siihen aukon Stitched Circles -setin stanssilla. Tekstileima on Snippets-setistä, sen leimasin suoraan korttipohjaan ja paperi päälle niin, että teksti näkyy aukosta. Pienet kukkaset stanssasin Hanging Planters -stanssisetin stanssilla ja laitoin konfetiksi ikkunaan, yhden laitoin vielä tytön hiuksiin koruksi. Käytetyt tuotteet ovat siis Penny Blackin ja löytyvät nettikaupastaan, linkit yllä.

Penny Black Dreaming: Bear Cuddle

Two bears looking towards their rosy future together :) So this turned out to be a engagement/wedding card, I thought those two look like love birds dreaming of a future together so it had to happen! The stamp I used is a new one from Penny Black, it's called Bear Cuddle. I coloured the image with my Copics and die cut it with its matching die. I then created the panel by using a cloud shaped mask and sponging some Distress Oxide ink around its edges (the mask is actually an old cloud shaped price tag that I use if I need to have some clouds on my cards :D ). I then die cut the panel using a die from the set Leaf Stitched Frames and stamped the sentiment on it from the new set Beautiful Heart, the little heart is from the set Huggable. I adhered everything to my card base before die cutting the grass with a die from the set Garden Edgers and adhering that in place.

Penny Black Dreaming: Flower Collection

I have a new card to share that I made with some of the new products from the fabulous new collection by Penny Black called Dreaming. The stamp I used is from a set of floral stamps called Flower Collection. I stamped it onto a card base that I folded out of watercolour cardstock and coloured it with my watercolours. I then cut a piece of purple cardstock slightly smaller than the card base and die cut a window into it using a die from the new set Stitched Circles, and adhered it to place. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment which is from the new sentiment set Huggable.

Penny Black Dreaming: A Big Hug #2

Remember the party animal card I made earlier? Well, I just had to make another card with the same bear where he is actually doing what he does best, sending a hug :) This stamp is called A Big Hug and it's from the newest collection by Penny Black. I stamped him onto some X-Press It blending card and coloured with my Copics. I then die cut the panel using a die from the Stitched Nested Frames set and after I had die cut it, I left the die in place. I then sponged a bit of Distress Oxide ink in Antique Linen onto the panel so that the die created a white border around the panel. Then I stamped the sentiment using stamps from the new Huggable sentiment set, the heart is from the same set. For the background, I used some patterned paper from Summertime paper pad.

Tein toisenkin kortin tällä söpöllä nallukalla (ensimmäinen oli tämä). Leiman nimi on A Big Hug, väritin sen tällä kertaa Copiceilla. Paneelin stanssasin Stitched Nested Frames -setin stanssilla ja jätin stanssin paikalleen siksi aikaa, että mustetin paneelia Distress Oxide -musteella - stanssi jättää kivan valkoisen reunuksen paneelin ympärille. Tekstileima on uudesta Huggable -tekstileimasetistä, samoin kuin sydän. Taustalle laitoin paperia Summertime-paperikosta. Kaikki tuotteet ovat siis Penny Blackia ja saatavilla nettikaupastaan, linkit yllä.

Penny Black Dreaming: Tea Party

This turned out to be a very CAS card :) Just simple stamping and a bit of watercolouring, that's it! I folded my card base out of watercolour card stock, stamped the image using a stamp from the new Penny Black set called Tea Party and then the sentiment from the set It's Your Day, watercoloured the image and rounded the upper corners with my corner chomper. And the card was done!

Tästä kortista tuli melko yksinkertainen, vähän leimailua ja vesiväritystä ja se oli siinä! :) Korttipohja on vesivärikartongista taiteltu, siihen leimasin kuppikakut Penny Blackin uudella leimalla setistä Tea Party ja vesiväritin. The Flower Challenge #34: Reminder - Muistutus

It's reminder time at The Flower Challenge as we are mid-way through July already. This time we're asking you to use "Pretty Pastels" in your floral creations and we have a prize for the winner - Uniko is kindly giving away a stamp set to our lucky winner! As a guest designer, we have the fabulous Michelle Lupton.

For my card, I used the stamp Beautiful Friend by Clearly Besotted, I coloured it with my Copics and die cut it using the matching die. For the background I sponged some Distress Oxide ink and lastly, I stamped my sentiment (it's in Finnish and means 'Congratulations').

Penny Black Dreaming: Pawsome Present

Today I have a clean and simple one layer card to show you using some of the new stamps from the new Penny Black release called Dreaming. This cute bear is from the mini stamp set called Pawsome Present and I think he is just so adorable with his big bow. To make this card, I folded a card base out of Copic friendly cardstock and stamped my bear onto it. I coloured him with my Copics and added just a little coloured pencil to darken some of the shadow areas. Then I masked him and sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Bundled Sage to create the colour panel behind him. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment which is from the new sentiment set called Beautiful Heart.
