Jolly Santa

This jolly Santa captured my heart the minute I saw him, he is the sweetest Santa ever! He is a Sizzix / Tim Holtz die called Jolly St. Nick and it was so much fun piecing him together. He is a big fella, so this card is the size 5x7. I had him sneakily carry a present behind his back, die cut with Sizzix/Tim Holtz die set Celebrate. I added a piece of patterned paper behind him and a frame die cut with the Penny Black die Frame It. The sentiment is die cut as well, it translates as 'Christmas Greetings'.

Father's Day

It's Father's Day in Finland today and I'm sharing the card I made for my Dad.  I think trees are always a good option for masculine cards and especially so for my Dad who likes the forest. I used Sizzix/Tim Holtz die Funky Trees, inked the edges of the foliage pieces lightly and adhered the lighter green parts with foam adhesives. I die cut the window with Spellbinders Essential Arches dies, added a piece of patterned paper behind it and adhered the trees in their places. I also added three little birds die cut with a Memory Box die, embellished the card with clear enamel dots and stamped the sentiment which says 'Happy Father's Day' in Finnish.

Christmas Mouse

I adore this lil' mouse so much that I wanted to turn him into a Christmas mouse. He's from the What's Cookin'? stamp set by Hero Arts and I coloured him with my Copics. I then added a scarf and turned oven mittens into winter mittens to give him a seasonal look. For the other elements, I used a mix of products from different companies. The background is embossed with a 3D embossing folder from Nellie's Choice, the frames are die cut with the Pinkfresh Studio die Stitched Scallop Rectangles and the snowflakes are die cut with Penny Black dies form the sets Polar Pair and Dancing Snowflakes. The sentiment is heat embossed and says 'Merry Christmas'.
