Penny Black Hello Winter: Lovely Landing

I made a couple of cards with a new Penny Black stamp called Lovely Landing from the Hello Winter release.

For the first card, I coloured the image with my Copics and die cut the panel with Ribbon Stackers die, I also die cut the frame with the Ribbon Stackers die. I sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Speckled Egg on the edges of the panel and splattered some white acrylic paint on it. The sentiment comes from the sentiment set When Snow Falls. For the background, I used a piece of bluish gray cardstock.

For the second card, I coloured the image with Copics and added some Polychromos pencils on top for the bird. I die cut the panel with Semi-Circle Stackers die, left it in place and sponged some white ink on the panel. After removing the die, I splattered the panel with white watercolour before stamping a sentiment from the When Snow Falls sentiment set. I matted the panel onto some dark brown cardstock and mounted the panel onto some cream coloured cardstock that I had splattered with brown ink. Lastly, I adhered it all onto my card base.

Nämä kaksi korttia syntyi uudella Penny Black -leimalla Lovely Landing. Molempiin kortteihin väritin leimakuvan Copiceilla, alempaan lisäsin vielä Polychromos-kynää lintuun. Ensimmäisen kortin paneelin stanssasin Ribbon Stackers -stanssilla, samoin sen kehyksen. Paneelin reunoja mustetin Distress Oxide -musteen sävyllä Speckled Egg ja roiskin valkoista akryylimaalia lumeksi. Tekstileima molemmissa korteissa on setistä When Snow Falls. Toisen kortin paneelin stanssasin Semi-Circle Stackers -stanssilla, jätin stanssin paikoilleen ja mustetin paneelia valkoisella musteella. Lumi syntyi roiskitusta valkoisesta vesiväristä. Penny Black Hello Winter: Viewpoint

Here's a wintry view from a window created with a fun new die by Penny Black called Viewpoint. I created the view with the cutest lil' snowman from the stamp set Hug a Snowman with some pine branches from the set Delicate Pines, both coloured with my Zig markers. I also sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Lucky Clover and Peacock Feathers around the pine branches and the snowman. The snowflakes are die cut with Dancing Snowflakes die and embellished with some sticky-back rhinestones. The sentiment is from the set When Snow Falls.

Tämä ikkunanäkymä syntyi uudella hauskalla Penny Black -stanssilla Viewpoint. Lumiukko on setistä Hug a Snowman, oksat taas Delicate Pines -setistä, molemmat väritetty Zigeillä. Mustetin näkymää hieman Distress Oxide -musteilla Lucky Clover ja Peacock Feathers ja kiinnitin siihen pieniä lumihiutaleita, jotka stanssasin Dancing Snowflakes -stanssilla ja koristelin timangeilla. Penny Black Hello Winter: Winter Blooms

Happy New Year! It's January 1st and time for a brand new challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. Our theme is, as always, Anything Goes with the optional theme of Something New. 

My 'something new' is a new stamp. This gorgeous floral stamp is from the new Penny Black collection called Hello Winter and it's called Winter Blooms. I coloured the image with my Copics and die cut the panel with Zig-Zag Stackers. Before removing the die, I sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Antique Linen on the panel. I also splattered some white watercolour paint onto the panel. The sentiment stamp comes from the set Special Sentiments. Lastly, I matted my panel onto my cardbase and embellished the card with some clear sequins.

Penny Black Hello Winter: Delicate Pines

I made this clean and simple card with new stamps from the new Penny Black collection, Hello Winter. The tree branches are from the set Delicate Pines, I coloured on the stamps with my Zig markers and stamped on my card panel, repeating this several times. I then took a damp watercolour brush and went through the image very gently. This gave the image a sort of watercoloured look. I then die cut the panel using Zig-Zag Stackers and sponged some Distress Oxide ink in Lucky Clover on the panel. I also splattered some white watercolour on it. The lovely sentiment is from the sentiment set When Snow Falls. After stamping the sentiment, I matted the panel onto green cardstock before adhering the panel onto my white cardbase.

Penny Black Hello Winter: Nature's Pennant

Here's a new stamp from the new Penny Black collection Hello Winter. This gorgeousness is called Nature's Pennant. 

I stamped the image on Copic-friendly cardstock and coloured it with my Copics before die cutting the panel with Semi-Circle Stackers die. Before removing the die, I sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Antique Linen and Brushed Corduroy on the edges of the panel. I then heat embossed a sentiment from Here's to Xmas sentiment set onto a strip of dark brown cardstock and tied a little twine bow to it as an embellishment.

Penny Black Hello Winter: Hug a Snowman

Penny Black has just released a new collection of stamps and dies suitable for Christmas and winter-themed cards called Hello Winter. My card features a stamp from one of the sets called Hug a Snowman and I'm just in love with this fella! I think he's the cutest lil' snowman ever!

I stamped the image on Copic-friendly cardstock and coloured it with my Copics. I then took a piece of patterned paper from Wintertime paper pad and die cut the edge with a die from the new die set Border Collection. Before adhering it to my panel, I placed a piece of lilac cardstock behind it to create a border for the upper part of the card. I then adhered the panel onto my cardbase before stamping a sentiment from the new sentiment set When Snow Falls and embellished the card with some clear sequins.
