13

My youngest son celebrated his 13th birthday in January and I made him this card. I wanted to make a card with die cuts only so I opted for the Celebrate die set by Sizzix. I die cut all the pieces and assembled them. The numbers are die cut with Spellbinders' Bold Numbers dies and coated with a heavy layer of Rock Candy glitter. I created the background by masking the rectangle, ink blending some Distress Oxide ink to it and then dry embossing the panel with a Penny Black embossing folder called Rounded. I then adhered everything except the numbers in their places, splattered it all with some Hero Arts White Acrylic Spray and then adhered the numbers in place with some foam adhesives.

A Bunch of Prettiness

It's really cold and snowy in  my neck of the woods which makes me long for spring so much. So today I wanted to make something pretty and flowery to take my mind of winter. I chose to colour the Blooming Bunch stamp by Trinity Stamps, one of the prettiest bouquets there is. I coloured the bouquet and the butterflies with my Copics before die cutting them with the matching dies. For the background, I used a piece of patterned paper and a panel of white cardstock. I die cut the panel with Spellbinders Eyelet Scallop Border die adding the pretty border in white. The sentiment is die cut and says 'Congrats'. I embellished the card with some pretty gems.

Wonderful Just as You Are

I made this friendship/Galentine's Day card with my newest Gina K Designs stamp, Wonderful Watsonia. I coloured the image with my Copics, added some dots to the flowers with a white paint pen and die cut the panel with Spellbinders Scallop Labels and Tag die, I also die cut a panel out of pink cardstock with a size bigger Scallop Labels and Tag die. I stamped my sentiment on the panel, it says 'You Are Wonderful Just as You Are'. I used a 3D embossing folder from Sizzix called Flowing Waves to dry emboss the white panel in the background. After adhering everything in place, I embellished the card with some enamel dots.

Blooms and Butterfly

I made this card with a stamp called The Sweetest from Hero Arts. I coloured the die cut image and a little butterfly from the Hero Arts set Picnic Basket with my Copics. I used a Penny Black embossing folder to dry emboss the white panel and die cut a frame using Pinkfresh Studio's Stitched Scallop Rectangles. The die cut sentiment says 'For a Friend'.

Cherries

I made this card last year but never shared it. I used the Cherry Bliss stamp set from Pinkfresh Studio for this, those cherries are so lovely to colour! I coloured them with my Copics and die cut them with the matching dies. For the background, I used the Dotted Scallops Cover Plate and Stitched Scallop Rectangles, both by Pinkfresh Studio as well. The heat embossed sentiment says 'Congratulations'. I embellished the card with some matte silver half pearls.

You Are Wonderful Just as You Are

I realised I haven't coloured any Stamping Bella images for a long time and also found this particular stamp, Teeny Tiny Townie Love, in my stash and noticed that I've never actually used it so it was a obvious choice to colour. I decided to turn this into a Galentine's card so I didn't go for pinks and reds when colouring the image with my Copics. It doesn't show in the photo but I added loads of Nuvo Aqua Glitter pen to the word 'love' and also a silvery glitter pen to the dress of the girl carrying the letter L - so in real life this has more shimmer and glitter than is obvious from the photo! I die cut the frame using Lawn Fawn's Lacy Rectangle Stackables die and using a regular rectangle die to cut the middle part off so I was left with just the frame. The Finnish sentiment I used translates as 'You Are Wonderful Just as You Are'. I also used some pretty gems to embellish the card.

Florals

Another day, another floral card! I made this one with a stamp called Anemone from Studio Light, such a lovely stamp to colour! I coloured the image with my Copics and as I wanted to keep the card quite CAS, I only stamped my sentiment (direct translation of it would be 'Happiness and light to you') on the panel before matting it onto a lighter purple panel and then a darker purple panel. Lastly, I embellished my card with some purple gems.
