Penny Black Autumn Extraordinaire: Hugs & Cuddles

  

It's reminder time at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. Our theme for October is, as always, Anything Goes with the optional theme of Too Cute to Spook!

For my DT card, I used this cute little fox from the new Hugs & Cuddles stamp set coloured with my Zig Markers. I placed him and some leaves from the new Falling Leaves stamp set and the acorns from the new Bountiful Beauty stamp set into the cute little envelope from Exquisite Envelope set, all coloured with Zig Markers. I stamped my sentiment from Snippets sentiment set onto the envelope and placed a circular frame behind it, die cut with Stitched Circles dies. For the background I used patterned paper from Gentle Whisper paper pad matted onto brown cardstock. Lastly, I embellished the card with sequins.

Käytin korttiini kettua setistä Hugs & Cuddles, väritin sen Zigeillä ja laitoin pieneen Exquisite Envelope -setillä tehtyyn kirjekuoreen. Lisäksi laitoin sinne lehtiä, jotka leimailin Falling Leaves -setin leimoilla ja tammenterhot setistä Bountiful Beauty. Väritin ne kaikki Zigeillä. Penny Black Autumn Extraordinaire: Autumn Decor

I created this card with new dies from the new Penny Black release Autumn Extraordinaire. The die set I used is called Autumn Decor.

I die cut all the elements and coloured them with my Copics and I love the effect it gave, it looks a lot like no-line colouring. I die cut the panel using Stitched Nested Frames die and the circles using a die from the set Framed. I attached the circles onto the panel and adhered all the elements on the circles with foam adhesives. The sentiment is from the set Harvest Breeze, I heat embossed it in white onto a strip of dark brown cardstock. I then adhered the panel onto my card base and embellished the card with sticky back pearls.

Tämän kortin tein stansseilla Penny Blackin uudesta kokoelmasta Autumn Extraordinaire. Stanssisetin nimi on Autumn Decor.

 

Stanssasin kaikki osaset ja väritin ne Copiceilla. Taustan paneelin stanssasin Stitched Nested Frames -stanssilla ja ympyrät Framed-stanssisetin stanssilla. Teksti on embossattu ja setistä Harvest Breeze. Kiinnitin osaset paikalleen, paneelin korttipohjaan ja koristelin vielä puolihelmillä.

Penny Black Autumn Extraordinaire: Harvest Breeze

I created this little harvest scene with new stamps and dies from the new autumn themed release by Penny Black called Autumn Extraordinaire. The stamps I used are from the set Harvest Breeze that has a set of matching dies called Harvest Breeze Cut Out.

I coloured everything with my Copics before die cutting them with the matching dies. The ground is die cut with Rolling Hills die, I also added little snippets of foliage die cut with Garden Edgers die along the edge of the ground. The sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder and I arranged and adhered everything on a panel die cut with Swirly Stitches die, I also did some ink blending and splattered some gold spray onto the panel. Lastly, I adhered some gold sticky back pearls to embellish my card.

Tein tämän syksyisen näkymän uusilla Penny Blackin leimoilla ja stansseilla uudesta Autumn Extraordinaire -kokoelmasta. Käytin tähän uutta leimasettiä Harvest Breeze, johon on saatavilla myös stanssit, Harvest Breeze Cut Out.

Väritin kaiken Copiceilla ja stanssasin irti. Maan stanssasin Rolling Hills -stanssilla ja maan reunalle laitoin pieniä pätkiä heinikkoa, jonka stanssasin Garden Edgers -stanssilla. Tekstileiman embossasin ja asettelin osaset paneeliin, jonka stanssasin Swirly Stitches -stanssilla. Paneeliin mustetin Distress Oxide -mustetta ja roiskin hieman kultasuihketta. Lopuksi koristelin kortin muutamalla kultaisella puolihelmellä.

Penny Black Autumn Extraordinaire: Hugs & Cuddles

I just love these peacefully sleeping forest animals! They're new stamps from Penny Black's newest release Autumn Extraordinaire and called Hugs & Cuddles.

For the first card I used the beautiful fox that I coloured with my watercolours before die cutting it with the matching dies, Hugs & Cuddles Cut Out. The acorns and oak leaves are from the new stamp set Bountiful Beauty, I coloured them with my watercolours as well and fussy cut them. I die cut the circle with Stitched Circles die and placed a piece of patterned paper from Painted Blooms paper pad behind it. The sentiment is from the sentiment set Happy Snippets, stamped with brown ink. Lastly, I embellished the card with some golden sticky back pearls.

For the second card I used the squirrel from the Hugs & Cuddles set and this time I coloured it with my Copic markers before die cutting it with the matching die. I placed it inside the autumn wreath from the new set Harvest Wishes, I coloured it with Copics as well before die cutting it with the matching die and placing some vellum behind it. For the background I used some kraft coloured cardstock and stamped autumn leaves on it with light brown ink. The leaves are from the set Falling Leaves. For the sentiment, I die cut the word 'fall' with a die from the new die set Autumn Decor and then heat embossed the word 'wishes' with the sentiment from Harvest Wishes stamp set. Lastly, I embellished the card with some golden sequins.

It's time for a new challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge and the theme for October is Anything Goes with the optional theme of Too Cute to Spook!

For my DT card, I used stamps from the wonderful new release by Penny Black called Autumn Extraordinaire. As the name suggests, it is filled with lovely autumn themed stamps and dies. I used stamps from two new sets, the cute hedgies and the sentiment is from the set Harvest Breeze and the leaves on the ground are from the set Falling Leaves. I coloured the images with my watercolours, fussy cut the hedgies and die cut the leaves with their matching dies. I sponged some Distress Oxide ink to the background, stamped tiny leaves from the Harvest Breeze set on it and adhered everything in place. I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of brown cardstock and adhered it with foam adhesives. Lastly, I splattered some gold spray onto the card.

Penny Black Autumn Extraordinaire: Harvest Wishes

Penny Black has release a gorgeous new collection of autumn themed stamps and dies called Autumn Extraordinaire and I'm sharing a card made with a stamp called Harvest Wishes that has a matching die called Harvest Wishes Cut Out. The stamp set has two stamps and I chose to use this beautiful autumnal wreath. I coloured it with my watercolours, die cut it with the matching die and added some accents with gold Gelly Roll pen. I die cut the wreath a couple of times using thick watercolour paper and adhered them underneath my watercoloured wreath so that I was able to make the wreath stand out a bit. For the background I used a piece of patterned paper from Painted Blooms paperpad matted onto brown cardstock. I added vellum there too onto which I heat embossed a sentiment from the set Grateful Sentiments. Lastly, I embellished the card with a few sticky back pearls.

Tämä kortti syntyi uudella Penny Black -leimasimella nimeltään Harvest Wishes, joka on uudesta kokoelmasta Autumn Extraordinaire. Leimaan on mätsäävä stanssikin, Harvest Wishes Cut Out. Väritin leimakuvan vesiväreillä, stanssasin ja koristelin muutamalla kultaisella Gelly Roll -yksityiskohdalla. Stanssasin kranssin pariin kertaan paksusta vesiväripaperista ja kiinnitin väritetyn kranssin pohjaan, jotta sain stanssattuun leimakuvaan paksuutta. Penny Black Autumn Extraordinaire: Windy

I'm sharing an autumn themed card made with goodies from the new Penny Black release called Autumn Extraordinaire. For this card, I used dies from the new set called Windy - I just love the funky geometric foliage on these trees! To colour the trees and the foliage, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide inks on a piece of watercolour paper before die cutting the pieces. For the background, I die cut the square with a die from Stitched Square & Circles set before masking the edges and sponging some green Distress Oxide ink to the panel. I then assembled the trees adhering some parts of the foliage both on the trees and on the ground with foam adhesives, stamped the sentiment from the new set Harvest Breeze and adhered the panel onto my square card base.

Penny Black Autumn Extraordinaire: Bountiful Beauty

I made this card with a new stamp from the new Penny Black release called Autumn Extraordinaire, a release full of beautiful autumn themed stamps and dies.

For this card I used a stamp from the new stamp set called Bountiful Beauty. I coloured the image with my Copics and fussy cut it. For the stripes I used patterned paper from the paper pad Painted Blooms die cut with Antique Frame die, I die cut the little panel twice and cut a piece off of both of them so that I was able to get a clean straight edge to them. I also die cut the white panel with Antique Frame die and raised it from the card base with a panel of craft foam. For the sentiment I used one from the set Snippets. After adhering everything in place, I embellished the card with gold sequins.

Penny Black Autumn Extraordinaire: Falling Leaves

Penny Black has released a new collection of autumn themed stamps and dies called Autumn Extraordinaire and I'm sharing my first card made with some of them. This card features some of the beautiful leaves that come in the Falling Leaves stamp set.

I used ink sponging to make this card. I started with sponging some Distress Oxide inks to a piece of watercolour paper, then I stamped the three leaves onto the ink sponged paper before die cutting them with the matching dies. For the background, I die cut my panel using Dainty Dashes Stackers die and masked a rectangle onto it. Then I sponged the rectangle with some Distress Oxide inks. After sponging, I had some residue ink on my craft mat so I dribbled it with water and dabbed my panel onto the ink to create the subtle splotches of ink. I mounted the panel onto my card base and arranged the leaves onto it. For the sentiment, I heat embossed a sentiment from the new Harvest Breeze stamp set onto a strip of black cardstock and attached it in place. I embellished my card with some golden sequins.
