Robotti - Robot

Tässä simppeli 10 vuotta täyttäneelle veljenpojalle mennyt kortti. Taittelin korttipohjan vesivärikartongista, leimasin siihen tuon Tim Holtzin robotin, maskasin sen ja leimasin taustalle Marianne Designin leimalla. Väritys Distress Markereilla, tekstileima ja leimatut numerot ja lisäksi vielä tippaset mustaa enamel accentsia ja siinäpä se.

I made this birthday card for my nephew who turned 10. I folded the card out of watercolour cardstock, stamped the Tim Holtz robot onto it, masked the robot and stamped the background. I then coloured the image with Distress Markers, stamped the sentiment and the numbers and added drops of black enamel dots to finish the card.

Edellisestä art journal -kerrasta on vierähtänyt jo jokunen aika... Halusin aloittaa art journaloinnin uudestaan mutta ajattelin, että itsekseni sitä ei ehkä niinkään tule tehtyä, vaan homma jää ajatuksen asteelle. Siispä otin ja liityin Wanderlust 2017 -kurssille! Se on koko vuoden kestävä nettikurssi, jossa julkaistaan viikoittain videoita ja muuta inspiraatiota. Tein tämän sivun vierailevan opettajan Mary Wangerinin videon pohjalta, aiheena oli Roald Dahl -sitaatti "And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Ja tällainen siitä tuli, paljon kerroksia, papereita, maalia, käsinmaalattu mandala, Hero Artsin lintu kruunu päässään...

It's been a while since I last did any art journaling... I wanted to start art journaling again but I knew I needed a bit of push to do it, so... I joined the Wanderlust 2017 course! It's an online event with loads of art journaling inspiration lasting the whole year, and I'm loving it :) I made this page inspired by a video by guest teacher Mary Wangering and the theme was this Roald Dahl quote: "And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." There's loads of layers, stenciling, pieces of paper, layers of paint, happy colours, a hand painted mandala with a bird (a Hero Arts stamp) wearing a crown, etc.

Merry whatever..

Ja nyt sitten vähän jotain erilaista jouluista... ;D Kotiutin tuossa joku aika sitten muutaman uuden Stampotique-leiman (pitäähän sitä nyt yhdistetty synttäri- ja joululahja itselle olla.. ;D ) ja käytin tässä niistä yhtä. Tämä Ystävä ('Friend') on jotenkin niiiin suloinen, että en voinut sitä vastustaa vaan annoin sille kodin ja nyt Ystävä hengailee askartelupöydälläni ja pitää minulle seuraa ;) Taustan tähän tein erinäisillä aineilla, siinä on akryylimaaleja, gelatoksia (lisää synttäri- ja joululahjaa itselle... ;D ), tekstuuripastaa, mustesuihkeita, NeoColor II:a, sabluunoita (Prima ja Tim Holtz), leimoja (Tim Holtz, Artemio ja Stampotique), Distress Staineja jne. Lopputulos on tuollainen... hmmm... vähän erilainen jouluinen, eikö? :D

And now something a bit different... A few days ago I got myself some new Stampotique stamps (you have to get yourself a combined birthday and Christmas present, don't you? ;D ) and I used one of them for this tag. As soon as I saw this 'Friend', I was in love! Isn't he so adorable?! There's something about him that just stole my heart :) He now lives on my craft table and keeps me company while I craft ;) The background for my Friend is made with all sorts of stuff: gesso, acrylic paints, modeling paste, some gelatos (another birthday/Christmas present for myself... ;D ), ink spray, NeoColor II crayons, stencils (both Prima and Tim Holtz), rubber stamps (Tim Holtz, Artemio and Stampotique), Distress Stains, etc. And the result? Quite a festive and Christmassy tag, right? What, no..? ;D

There are some layers on this page, I can tell you that! This page began its life coloured with Dylusions ink sprays but now, on the finished page, you can't see them at all :D Oh well, nevermind. I made this page with those sprays, acrylic paints, gesso, stencils (Tim Holtz, SODAlicious), stamps (KaiserCraft, 7Gypsies, Artemio), inks, washi tape, etc.

Step away

Tätä art journal -sivua lähdin vain tekemään sen kummemmin miettimättä, mitä teen (juu-u, joskus ihan oikeasti mietin etukäteen, mitä teen... ;D ). Lisäilin vain väriä sivulle - yllättäen tuota lempparikomboa, keltaista ja pinkkiä - maalia ja spray inkiä, neocolor II:a ja musteita. Suoraan sivulle, sabluunan läpi, roiskien ja leimaten. Lisäilin vähän washiteippiä ja leimakuvaa (Zettiology), valkoista kynää, mustaa kynää ja Prismacoloreita. Lopuksi vähän tekstiä aakkosleimoilla. Ehkä tämä sivu voi toimia muistutuksena itselle, että sieltä mukavuusalueelta tosiaan voisi joskus hilata itsensä pois, sen ulkopuolella saattaa olla hauskempaa ;)

This art journal page just happened, I didn't really think what I was doing (yes, I know it's surprising but sometimes I actually do think beforehand what I'll do... ;D ). I just started adding colour to the page, pink and yellow of course, no surprises there as it's my favourite combination at the moment. I added paint, I added spray inks, I added Neocolor II, I added inks. Straight to the page, through a stencil, as splatters, with rubber stamps. I added some washi tape and a stamped image (Zettiology), some white pen, some black pen and some Prismacolor pencils. Then some journaling with alphabet stamps. Maybe this page serves as a note to myself to sometimes drag myself out of my comfort zone, things might just be a bit more fun that way ;)

Ympyrää - A masked circle

Taas hieman maskattua korttia näytille. Stanssasin tätä varten paperiin ympyrän, jonka läpi levitin Distress Inkejä korttipohjaan. Päälle leimasin Artemion tekstitaustaleimasimella ja sitten vielä Hero Artsin Silhouette Spray -leimalla. Sitten yksi timantti ja muutama vesipisko päälle ja kortti oli valmis.

I'm back to masking again and this time I masked a circle to a card base. I die cut a circle to a piece of scrap paper and applied some Distress Inks through it. Then I stamped the text background (by Artemio) and the Silhouette Spray stamp (by Hero Arts) to the masked circle and glued a rhinestone to decorate the stamped image. Finally I just dropped a few drops of water to the inky circle and that was it.

Golffari - Golfer

Johan on, jo toinen postaus samalle päivälle! :) "Mies"-kortti tämäkin ja sopiva golffarille. Leimakuva on Papermanian ja väritetty Distress Markereilla. Paperit on Authentiquen, embossasin tuon vihreän paperin Papertrey Inkin impression platella - nyt kuvio täsmää tuon kuviopaperin ja golffarin sukkien kanssa. Tekstin leimasin Artemion aakkosilla, tosin huutomerkkiä ei setissä ollut, joten leimasin pikku-i:n väärinpäin, josko se menee huutomerkistä ;)

Well whaddaya know, it's my second post for today! :) Another male card and suitable for a golfer. The stamp I used is by Papermania, I coloured the image with Distress Markers. The papers are by Authentique, I ran the green paper through my Cuttlebug with a Papertrey Ink impression plate and now the pattern on it matches with the pattern on the paper next to it and on the golfer's socks. I stamped the text with alphabet stamps by Artemio, the set didn't include an exclamation mark so I used an 'i' upside down.

Synttärikettu - Fargo the fox

Tämä on veljenpoikani korttitrion viimeinen kortti. Tämän synttärisankarille antoi hänen 92-vuotias isoisoäitinsä, joten kortti on hieman muita kortteja "söpömpi" - isoisoäidit ja esim. Stampotiquet eivät mielestäni oikein käy yksiin... ;D Tähän korttiin valikoitui siis DoodleFactoryn Fargo-kettu, jonka väritin ProMarkereilla. Paperit ovat October Afternoonia ja koristeena on washiteippilippunauhaa (hurraa suomi ja yhdyssanat..! ;) ) ja stanssattua tähteä. Onnea-tekstin leimailin Artemion aakkosilla.

This is the last of the three cards I made for my nephew on his 11th birthday. This was given to him by his 92-year-old greatgrandmother so it's a bit cuter than the other two cards (which you can see here and here) - somehow I don't think that greatgrandmothers and e.g. Stampotique stamps go together that well.... ;D The stamped image is Fargo the Fox by DoodleFactory, I coloured him with ProMarkers. The papers are by October Afternoon and the little flags I made of washi tape. I die cut the star with a Spellbinders die. The sentiment says 'congrats' and I stamped it with alphabet stamps by Artemio.

Maaliskuu - March

Ensimmäinen päivä maaliskuuta tarkoittaa tietenkin taas kalenterisivua! Kyseessähän on siis Kate Cranen kalenterihaaste, tarkempia tietoja löytyy Katen blogista. Tein sivustani mahdollisimman energisen, tässä vaiheessa vuotta kun tuntuu aina usko loppuvan siihen, että se kevät sieltä koskaan tulisi (tästä lisää postauksen lopussa...), paljon siis keltaista, punaista ja oranssia. Ja pikkulintuja ja mekkoja - tule jo, kevät, tule! :)

It's the first of March and that means a new page for my calendar! I'm of course talking about Kate Crane's lovely Calendar Challenge, for more info on that please visit Kate's blog. I wanted to make my page as energetic and happy as I could because during this time of the year I'm always almost giving up on hope of ever seeing spring at all (more about this at the end of my post...), so I used lots of yellow, red and orange. And a few little birdies and a cute dress - please spring, come already! :)

Niin, ja siitä keväästä... Mitä luulet, tuleeko kevät koskaan vai hukutaanko sitä ennen lumeen? Otin kuvan meidän terassin kaiteesta, jonka päällä on lunta yli 30 cm!!! (Mittana kuvassa näkyy askarteluviivoittimeni, joka on 30 cm pitkä). Kyllä minun puolestani saisi jo kevät tulla ja lumi sulaa pois, pois, pois!

I know the 1st of March is considered to be the first day of spring so I thought I'd show you what the first day of spring looks like over here in Finland. I took this picture at our backyard, it's the railing on our terrace and there's over 30 centimetres (over 12 inches) of snow on top of it! (That is my craft ruler you see against the snow and it is 30 centimetres/12 inches). I think there's even more snow on the ground... So no green grass and no spring flowers - bohoo! I'm so ready for spring to come (although I'm worried we might be buried in snow before it does... ;D ) and all this snow to melt away!

Omapäiset auringonkukat - Sunflowers with their own mind :)

Joskus korteilla tuntuu olevan oma mieli. Tästäkin kortista piti tulla varsinainen väri-iloittelu, voimakasta keltaista, oranssia, sinistä... mutta jotenkin korttiin lopulta valikoituivat nämä hieman rauhallisemmat värit. No, käyhän se kai näinkin :) Nuo ihanat auringonkukat ovat Stampendousin setistä (joka oli ihan pakko saada näiden arskakukkien takia... :) ), väritin ne Distresseillä, leikkasin irti ja kiinnitin tarrapaloilla. Keltainen kartonki on ColorCorea Spellbindersin stanssilla stanssattuna, taustalla ihan 'tavallista' kartonkia, johon leimasin Artemion tekstileimalla ja VersaMarkilla. Tuon 'bannerin' tein ihan kraft-kartongista taittelemalla, tuo kauniskaunis tekstileima on FinnStamperin, embossasin sen valkoisella. Lisänä kolme timanttia.

Sometimes it feels like cards have their own mind, their own spirit according to which they want to be made. It felt like that with this card: I was going to make a card with really strong, bold colours - strong yellow, orange, blue... - but see what happened? A card with more subdued colours! I guess that's fine as well.. :) The gorgeous sunflower image is a stamp by Stampendous (I just had to buy the stamp set when I saw these darlings... :) ), I coloured it with Distress Inks, cut out and adhered with 3D foam pads. There's some yellow cardstock by ColorCore which I die cut with a Spellbinders die and some green cardstock onto which I stamped with a background stamp by Artemio in VersaMark ink. I made the banner from kraft cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment ('congrats') in white. As embellies some rhinestones.

Hääparille - To the happy couple

Minulla tuntuu olevan ehtymätön varasto näitä 'polkkaamattomia' kortteja, sillä nämäkin ovat pari kuukautta vanhoja tekeleitä. Kesän alussa tein pari hääkorttia, yhden tarpeeseen ja yhden varalle. Korttipohjaksi taitoin A4-kokoisen kartongin (kutsuttiinkohan tätä samettikartongiksi tms., siinä on kaunis kuviointi pinnassa) ja molempien korttien sisään laitoin myöskin taitetun A4:n kokoisen kuultopaperin tapaisen paperin, johon kirjoittaa. Molempiin kortteihin käytin Stempelgleden sydämiä ja tähän ylempään korttiin myös samasta setistä 'roiskeleimaa', jotka kaikki embossasin kultaisella jauheella. Myös hääparille-tekstin embossasin. Ylempään korttiin laitoin vielä kultaista kuitukangasta vinon palan. Koristeena leveää kultaista satiininauhaa.

I seem to have an endless supply of unblogged cards, these two are also a couple of months old makes as I did a couple of wedding cards in the beginning of the summer, one was needed straightaway, the other is still waiting for a happy couple. I made the card blank for both of these cards by folding in two a cardstock by the size of  21 x 30 centimetres. I also folded in two a vellum-type paper by the same size and added that to the insides of the cards. The heart stamps I used are by Stelpelglede as is the 'splatter' stamp I used on the first card, the sentiment says basically 'to the wedded couple'. I embossed all the stamped images with gold embossing powder. To the first card I added some golden fabric (don't know its exact name in English, sorry..) and in both the cards I used some wide golden satin ribbon.

Niin, ja kortit ovat oikeasti saman värisiä (ylempi kuva antaa oikean kuvan väreistä), jotain sattui valon kanssa ja kuvista tuli todella erilaiset..

Please believe me that the cards are actually similar in colour (the first photo shows the colours as they really were), something just happened with the light and the photos turned out quite funny..

Kuoreen leimasin ja embossasin kultaisella tuollaisen kiekuran koristeeksi (leimasin on Artemion).

I decorated the envelope by stamping and embossing with gold powder this swirly stamp by Artemio.

Aluevaltauksia ja ATC:tä - Broken boundaries and some ATCs

Tuli tehtyä uusi aluevaltaus... Sain Kissinialta todella kauniin ATC:n (katsopa tuolta # 5), joten täytyihän minun tehdä vastalahjaksi myös ATC. Olen aikaisemminkin ajatellut koittaa näiden tekoa mutta en ole koskaan kuitenkaan päässyt sinne asti (tai no, olen aina jämähtänyt ajatukseen, että nämä ovat artist trading cardeja enkä minä koe itseäni erityisemmin taiteilijaksi...). Mutta jälleen kerran härkää sarvista ja kortteja vääntämään! Ohjeita en etsinyt sen kummemmin, vain tuon kortin koon, joka siis on 64 mm x 89 mm. Saattaa siis olla, että rikon useampaakin taiteilijasääntöä mutta siitä viis! ;D

I broke some boundaries... I received a gorgeous ATC from Kissinia (please see here, mine's #5), so I wanted to make one for her. I've thought about making ATCs before but never got round to it (well, to tell the truth, I've always frozen at the idea that they're supposed to be artist trading cards and I don't really see myself as an artist...). So now I broke some boundaries inside my head (always a good thing to do! ;) ) and made my first ATCs! I don't know if there are some ATC rules apart from the size (which is 64 mm x 89 mm) so if I'm breaking some artist rules... well, then I am! ;D

Tuplahaaste - Challenging

Sitä täytyy tehdä, mikä tuntuu hankalalta, ilmeisesti... Olen varmastikin jo useampaan kertaan maininnut, että miesten kortit eivät ole minulle niitä helpoimpia tehtäviä. No, miltä kuulostaa seuraavanlainen korttitilaus: "syntymäpäiväkortti 80 vuotta täyttävälle miehelle, komia ruusukortti mutta ei liian kukkainen". Sitä minäkin, vaikealta.... :-| Aluksi meinasi paniikki iskeä, mutta lopulta sain mielestäni ihan kivan idean korttiin. Minulla ei ole mitään ruusu/kukkaleimaa, joka mielestäni erityisesti sopisi miehelle, joten päätin laittaa ruusut taustalle. Leimasin Artemion ääriviivaruusulla valkoiselle kartongille ruusuja, jotka embossasin kirkkaalla jauheella. Sen jälkeen levitin päälle sinistä Distress Inkiä (ajattelin, että sininen ja valkoinen on sopiva väriyhdistelmä niinkin kunnioitettavan iän saavuttaneelle miehelle, perinteinen ja tyylikäs). Koska minulla ei ole numerostansseja, etsin netistä kuvan vanhasta auton 8-kympin lätkästä :) , jonka numeroiden kokoa hieman muutin ja sitten tulostin paperille. Paperista leikkasin mallit, joiden avulla sitten leikkasin puhelinluettelon kannesta 'oikeat' numerot (kierrätystä! ;) ), pyyhin Versamarkilla ja embossasin kultajauheella. Lisäksi vielä valkoista satiininauhaa ja kulmiin kultaiset ääriviivatarrat.

I've always said that I find it difficult to make cards for men and recently I was thrown quite a challenge: to make a birthday card for a man for his 80th birthday! And the card "should have roses on it but shouldn't be too flowery". Phew... Well, I didn't want to make the roses the focal point of the card because the card was meant for a man after all, so I stamped roses with an Artemio stamp on a white cardstock and embossed them with clear powder. I then added some blue Distress Ink on the cardstock. I don't own any dies that I could cut numbers with so I looked for suitable '8' and '0' on the internet, found them, printed them on a paper, cut out and using the paper numbers as a model, cut the actual numbers from a phonebook cover (talk about recycling... ;) ). Then I added some Versamark ink on them and embossed them with gold powder. Then I added some white satin ribbon and some gold stickers for the corners of the card.

Tilauskortteja on mielestäni aina vähän jännittävä tehdä, varsinkaan kun kortin saajia ei henkilökohtaisesti tunne, joten joutuu hieman arvailla, minkälaisesta kortista saaja pitäisi. I find custom made cards/cards made for order somewhat challenging to make, especially if and when I don't know the receiver personally - I just have to guess what they might like! Vähemmän on enemmän - Less is more

Tällä viikolla pyörähti käyntiin uusi haasteblogi Less Is More, jonne toivotaan clean and simple -tyylisiä kortteja. Haaste vaihtuu viikoittain ja nyt on käynnissä värihaaste musta-valkoinen-pinkki. Tämän tyyliset kortit on yllättävän vaikeita tehdä, kaikkea pitää miettiä erittäin tarkkaan, koska mitään ei voi peittää papereilla tai koristepaljouksilla. Käytin tässä kortissa Artemion Mini Hydrangea -leimasinta ja vaaleanpunaista ja valkoista kartonkia Spellbindersilla stanssattuna. Tekstileima on FinnStamperilta. Kuva tosin ei ole erityisen hyvä, huono valo ja huono kamera ei ole kovin hyvä yhdistelmä... ;)

Yay, there's a new challenge blog in the blogworld called Less Is More! Less Is More calls out for Clean and Simple cards and the challenge changes every week. This week it's time for a colour challenge with black, white and pink. In my card I've used Artemio's Mini Hydrangea stamp and some pink and white cardstock. The sentiment is stamped with pink ink and it says 'For a friend'. The photo is appalling, sorry about that but the natural light isn't fantastic at the moment and my camera is even worse so this is the best I could make but rest assured, the white cardstock IS actually white in real life and not this weird greyish tone ;) Thank you for this wonderful challenge, I had fun with it! :)

Lisää lentäviä hyönteisiä - More butterflies

Kuten aikaisemmin sanoin, olen jotenkin tykästynyt perhosiin tällä hetkellä, joten niitä tulee nyt sitten lisää ;)
Tähän ensimmäiseen korttiin tein itse tuon salmiakkitaustan Paperbag Studiosin leimasimella ja Distress Inkillä, jota myös laitoin tuon tagin reunoihin. Perhonen ja "vauhtikiekura" on leimattu niin ikään Distressillä ja lisätty hieman Sticklesiä päälle. Lisäksi kukat ja metallikiekurat ja kortti on siinä.

As I said before, I'm quite fond of butterflies at the moment so here are a couple of cards with... yes, butterflies! ;) For this first card, I didn't use any designer papers but I made the background myself with a Paperbag Studios' stamp and some Distress Ink which I also applied to the tag. The butterfly and the swirl are stamped with Distress Ink as well, and I just added some Stickles glue to them to make them nice and sparkly. Then I just added the flowers and the metal embellies and that's it.

Tässä toisessa kortissa ei ole sitten leimailua ollenkaan (ensin jää pois leimakuvien väritys, sitten leimailu - mitä seuraavaksi?! ;) ). Eli kaikessa yksinkertaisuudessaan tässä on vain nätti paperi, muutama leikattu perhonen ja koristeita.

There's no stamping in this second card at all (first I seem to leave out the colouring of stamped images, then I leave out stamping altogether - what's next?! ;) ). Basically there's just a piece of pretty paper, some butterflies and a few embellishments, nothing else. Sweet and simple?

Free as a bird*

Edelleen ollaan kiitollisella linjalla, eli kiitoskorttia pukkaapi :) Tässä kortissa en sitten käyttänyt yhtään kuviopaperia vaan kaikki taustaa myöten on ihan itse tehtyä. Leimasimena on Crafty Individualsin leimasin, jossa on neljä erilaista lintuneliötä, mutta käytin tässä kortissa siis vain osaa tuosta leimasimesta, että saisin vain yhden linnun korttiin.

Once again I'm keeping with my thankful theme - it's a thank you card! :) I didn't use a single designer paper in this card, instead I made everything, including the background, myself. The rubber stamp I used is a Crafty Individuals stamp with four squares and birds, but I chose to use and ink up just one square of it.

'What's in a name?'*

Tässä tulee taas niitä minulta tilattuja kiitoskortteja. Tällä kertaa tilaajana oli vanhempi rouva, joten ajattelin ruusujen sopivan kortteihin kuin nenä päähän. Tähän ensimmäiseen korttiin leimailin ja leikkailin ruusuja ja jätin kortin muuten melko simppeliksi, jotta ruusut olisivat pääosassa.

Here are a few thank you cards that someone asked me to make. The person who ordered these cards is an elderly lady so I thought roses would suit her cards perfectly. For this first card I just stamped and cut out some roses but left the card otherwise quite simple so that the roses would play the main role.

Tässä seuraavassa kortissa jätin kauniit paperit pääosaan enkä raaskinut peittää niitä oikein mitenkään. Simppeliä taas mutta kortista tuli mielestäni ihan nätti.

In this second card I wanted the beautiful papers to have the main focus. Once again this is quite simple but nice, I think.

Tästä viimeisestä kortista tuli ehkä itselleni mieluisin. Kukka on leimattu akvarellitekniikalla vesiväripaperille, taustalla on vain  yksi paperi ja muutenkin koristeet ovat melko vähäiset (mikä lie minimalistinen vaihe minulle on oikein iskenyt..? ;) ).

This last card is probably my own favourite. I stamped the flower on some aquarelle paper using the aquarelle technique, used just one patterned paper on the background and kept the embellishments to the minimum (I don't know what's come over me, a minimalist phase of some sort..? ;) ).

Sukkersött Sommer #3

Työviikko on takana enkä ole ehtinyt postailla blogiin mitään, haipakkaa on pitänyt. Kortteja olen saanut tehtyä viikon aikana ihan kiitettävästi ja tässä niistä nyt ensimmäinen, tämä menee miehen 60 vuotta täyttävälle tädille. Osallistun tällä kortilla myös Sukkersöttin Sommer #3:een, jossa haasteena on käyttää itsetehtyjä kukkia.

The working week is over now and I haven't had time to post anything during the week, I've been so busy. I have made a few cards and here's the first of them, this one goes to hubby's aunt for her 60th birthday. I submit this card to the Sukkersött Sommer #3 where the challenge was to make something using self-made flowers.

Kukat tein Artemion ruusu- ja lehtileimasimilla Memory Boxin kullanväriselle paperille, embossasin ne kullanvärisellä jauheella, leikkasin irti ja kiinnitin osan 3D-tarrapaloilla. Lisäksi embossasin samaisella kultajauheella embossaamiseen sopivaa kaksipuolista teippiä - kokeilin sitä ensimmäistä kertaa ja olin melkoisen tyytyväinen, sillä sai helposti näyttävän näköisen koristeen korttiin. Paperit ovat taas BasicGreytä, perhospaperin reunan koristelin paper piercing -menetelmällä (onko sillä suomenkielistä nimeä?).

I stamped the flowers and the leaves with Artemio's stamps on some golden Memory Box paper, embossed them with gold embossing powder, cut them out and raised some of them with 3D foam cushions. I also embossed some doublesided tape with the embossing powder - this was the first time I tried it and I really liked the effect it gave. The papers are once again by BasicGrey. I used paper piercing to decorate the edges of the butterfly paper.


Sisäpuolen koristelin samaisella embossatulla teipillä, kullanvärisillä tarrahelmillä ja ääriviivatekstillä.
I decorated the inside of the card with the same doublesided, embossed tape, some golden pearls and peel off sticker text.


Sain tällä viikolla mukavaa postiakin. Osallistuin viime viikonloppuna Whiff of Joyn blog hoppiin ja yllätyksekseni voitin Camillan blogissa yllätys-blog candyn: WOJ:n uuden leimasimen, Thomasin. Thomas kotiutui eilen ja mukaan kiltti Camilla oli laittanut kauniita paperikukkia. Ihanaa postia, kiitos Camilla! :)

I got some great post this week. I did the Whiff of Joy blog hop last weekend and to my surprise I won some blog candy in Camilla's blog: the new party animal stamp by WOJ, Thomas. Thomas came home yesterday and the lovely Camilla also sent some beautiful paper flowers with him. How wonderful post, thank you Camilla! :)
