Bouquet

Here's a very clean and simple card - so simple, in fact, that there's even no sentiment! Sometimes you just need a card without any sentiment, right? The stamp I used is a collaboration between Memory Box and Simon Says Stamp called Fresh Cut Bouquet, I coloured the image with my Copics. I then masked the edges of the panel and very lightly ink blended the background with Distress Oxide ink in Bundled Sage. Lastly, I embellished the card with some gems.

Daisies

I made this birthday card using the ever so pretty Fresh Picked Daisies die by Spellbinders. I love those little happy looking daisies! Here I placed them in a watering can cut with Watering Can die by Penny Black. The background panels are die cut with My Favorite Things dies, I ink blended some Distress Oxide inks on the first panel. The die cut sentiment says 'Congratulations', I added many layers of Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss pen on the die cut sentiment and it has such pretty shimmer in real life.

60

A colleague of mine turned 60 earlier in January and we gave him a little present with a card that I made. I actually made two cards so my colleagues were able to choose which one we should give. My colleague is into cars so I tried to feature that in my cards, both of which turned out pretty clean and simple.

The first card features a stamp by Lili of the Valley, this is called Toot Toot. I coloured the image with my Copics before masking the edges of the panel and ink blending some Distress Oxide inks onto it. I cut the numbers with Number It die by Mama Elephant and adhered them in place before matting the panel onto a piece of teal cardstock and adhering it to my cardbase.

The second card uses dies by Sizzix/Tim Holtz, namely Vault Christmas Magic dies (I love versatile crafty products!). I cut the elements with the dies, added some vellum behind the windows on the buildings and the cars and adhered the elements in their places (the buildings are adhered with foam adhesives). I added the die cut numbers on the pickup. For the background, I masked the edges of the panel again and ink blended some Distress Oxide inks in Speckled Egg and Frayed Burlap onto the panel. I then stamped my sentiment (it says 'Congratulating you on your birthday'), adhered everything in place and embellished the card with some enamel dot stars.

Spring Garden

I love these blooms on this beautiful floral stamp by Alex Syberia Designs! This is a stamp called Spring Garden. I coloured the image with my Copics, very lightly ink blended the edges of the panel with Distress Oxide ink in Old Paper and added some gold splatters on it. I then die cut the frame with Hero Arts' Nesting Rectangle Infinity dies and adhered it in place before stamping my sentiment (it says 'Congratulations'). Lastly, I embellished the card with some gems.

At this point, I'm always so tired of winter and snow and cannot help but dream of green grass and flowers growing. I've even bought a packet of flower seeds that are waiting to be sown in pots in spring! Also the stamp I used on this card is so aptly named: Spring Garden.)

Beautiful Blooms

I loved colouring this image! This is a Hero Arts + Gina K. Designs stamp set called Friendship Blooms, such a beautiful stamp and so lovely to colour. I wanted the flowers to be the centre of attention so I kept the rest of the card quite simple. I die cut the panel with Semi-Circle Stackers die by Penny Black and matted the panel onto a piece of black cardstock before matting them onto a piece of plum coloured cardstock and finally my cardbase. The sentiment I used says 'Congratulating You' and I used pretty gems to embellish the card.

Birthday Flowers

Here's a clean-and-simple birthday card I made using a stamp from the beautiful Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz stamp set Floral Trims. I simply stamped the image on the card panel and coloured it with my Copics before masking the edges of the panel and ink blending some Distress Oxide inks (Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness) on it. I stamped the sentiment on the panel (it says 'Happy Birthday') before embellishing the card with some pretty gems.

Red Buttercups

I made a clean and simple birthday card with gorgeous stamps from Craft Your Life Project Kit: Sweet Buttercups by Altenew. I coloured the die cut images with my Copics (knowing full well that buttercups are yellow, I just wanted to make them red this time) and heat embossed my sentiment on a strip of black cardstock (the sentiment says 'On Your Birthday'). I then die cut a rectangle with Altenew's Fine Frames Rectangles die, adhered it on a panel of white cardstock that I mounted on another piece of white cardstock with some foam adhesives. After adhering the flowers and the sentiment in place, I embellished the card with some enamel dots.

All the Best

A colleague moved onto other things and I made her a card that our team gave her along with a little parting present. This beautiful flower is from the Alex Syberia Designs set Tulips Treasure. I stamped it onto a panel die cut with an MFT die and coloured it with my Copics. I then put the die back in place and inked the panel lightly with Distress Oxide ink in Old Paper. The background panel is die cut with a Penny Black die All-in-One Oval and the sentiment (translates as 'All the Best for the Future') is heat embossed onto a strip of dark grey cardstock. I embellished the card with some half pearls.

Something New

Happy New Year! This is my first card of 2025 and I wanted to try something new with it, namely the size. This is a mini slimline card, approx. 14,8 x 7,3 centimetres in size. Such a fun size to work with! I also used some new-to-me stamps on it, these beautiful florals are from Rainbow Floral stamp set from Pinkfresh Studio. I coloured the images with my Copics before die cutting them. The patterned paper in the background is from a paper pad by Carta Bella, I die cut it with Lawn Fawn's Small Mini Slimline Stackables dies. The die cut sentiment is in Finnish and translates as 'Congratulations'. I die cut it three times and adhered them on top of each other for a little dimension. I also added some Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss pen on the die cut sentiment, it gives such a beautiful shimmer which unfortunately doesn't show on the photo. I embellished the card with some gold glitter gems.
