Guest Designing at Just Us Girls - Challenge #816

This is my 4th and final week as the Guest Designer at Just Us Girls. It's been such a joy to guest design and I want to thank the team at Just Us Girls for having me. This week is Stencil Week so for Challenge #816 Anything Goes as long as you use stencils.

I used layering stencils for my card. This is Altenew's Build-A-Garden: Rocktrumpet and I used Altenew inks with the stencils to colour these florals before die cutting them. The floral image in this stamp set is actually pretty large and this is only half of it, which is fun as you can make two cards with one ink blended image. I kept my background simple and masked a rectangle on my panel, ink blended it with Distress Oxide ink before spattering it with blue ink. I heat embossed a sentiment from the same Rocktrumpet stamp set onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered it with foam adhesives. Lastly, I embellished the card with some clear gems.

Please head over to Just Us Girls challenge blog to be inspired by the cards made by the very talented Design Team. And while you're there, don't forget to join in the fun!

Milla, you've featured the rock trumpet beautifully, especially with the masked and inked background. Striking and eye-catching. A bonus that you can make two cards from one image.
Thank you so much for being our March Guest Designer; your talents and creativity are incredibly inspiring!
