Penny Black Delight: Companions

I made this birthday card with some new stamps from the new Penny Black release, Delight.

The gorgeous new floral stamp I used is called Companions, I stamped it onto watercolour paper, coloured with my watercolours and partially fussy cut the image. I then used a new background stamp called Contemporary, stamped it with some Versamark ink onto pink cardstock and heat embossed in white. I splattered the panel with some black and gold watercolour and stamped the sentiment from the sentiment set Carefree Wishes. After attaching everything in place, I embellished the card with some clear sequins.

Tämä synttärikortti syntyi uusilla Penny Black -leimoilla kokoelmasta Delight. Kukkaleima on nimeltään Companions, väritin sen vesiväreillä ja leikkasin osittain irti. Roiskin paneeliin myös hieman mustaa ja kultaista väriä. Reunalta laitoin näkymään kartonkia, johon olin embossannut kuvion uudella Contemporary-taustaleimalla. Tekstileima on setistä Carefree Wishes. Kortin koristelin lopuksi paljeteilla. Kaikki käytetyt leimat ovat Penny Blackin ja saatavilla nettikaupastaan, linkit tuotteisiin yllä.

Penny Black Delight: Florescence

I'm sharing another card made with a new stamp from the new Penny Black collection called Delight. This is Florescence, an absolutely stunning floral stamp. It reminds me of a hibiscus my Mum had when I was a child, it used to bloom with gorgeous big deep red blooms so that is why I coloured this bloom red.

I wanted to keep the card simple to let the image shine so I simply stamped it onto a panel of watercolour paper and coloured with my watercolours. I then masked the edges and lightly sponged a rectangle around the flower with Distress Oxide ink in Bundled Sage. Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from Blooming Sentiments set.

Tämä upea kukkaleima on Florescence, uusi leima Penny Blackin uudesta kokoelmasta Delight. Leimasin sen vesivärikartongille ja väritin vesiväreillä. Maskasin sitten paneelin reunat ja mustetin kevyesti suorakulmion paneeliin Distress Oxide -musteen sävyllä Bundled Sage. Tekstileima on setistä Blooming Sentiments. Penny Black Delight: Fur & Feathers

 I'm sharing a card made with a new stamp by Penny Black called Fur & Feathers from their newest collection Delight.

This little scene was such a joy to watercolour! I stamped it onto watercolour paper and coloured it with my watercolours before cutting it to a size to fit my card base. For the sentiment, I used two stamps, one from the set Snippets and one from Happy Snippets, and heat embossed them onto strips of brown cardstock. To embellish the card, I die cut a branch with Dancing Leaves die and added a bit of string tied into a bow and some sticky back pearls.

Tämä suloinen leima on nimeltään Fur & Feathers ja se on osa Penny Blackin uutta kokoelmaa Delight. Väritin sen vesiväreillä ja leikkasin paneelin sopivan kokoiseksi korttipohjaan nähden. Tekstit kokosin kahdesta eri leimasta, toinen on Snippets-setistä ja toinen Happy Snippets -setistä, embossasin ne kartonkisuikaleille. Koristelin kortin oksalla, jonka stanssasin Dancing Leaves -stanssilla, ja pienellä nyörirusetilla ja muutamalla puolihelmellä. Kaikki käytetyt leimat ja stanssit ovat Penny Blackin ja saatavilla nettikaupastaan, linkit tuotteisiin yllä.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge is in full swing and I'm here with my reminder card. The theme this month is 'Anything Goes' with the optional theme of 'Clean & Simple'.

I created my card with a gorgeous new stamp by Penny Black called Captivating from the new release Delight. This is absolutely beautiful stamp and it's big enough to fill the whole card front which is why I kept my card otherwise quite simple. I stamped and watercoloured the image before stamping the sentiment from the sentiment set Carefree Wishes on my panel. I then lightly sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Bundled Sage and Brushed Corduroy on the edges of the panel before adhering the panel onto purple cardbase.

Guest Designing at TIME OUT Challenges! - Vieraana TIME OUT Challengesissä!

I have the huge honour of being a Guest Designer for the current challenge at TIME OUT Challenges - thank you so much, ladies, for having me! The theme for this fortnight is 'Move'.

I interpreted the theme literally as moving one's body and this Yoga Mochi Girl by Stamping Bella sure does move her body! I wanted to keep the design clean and simple so I just coloured the image with my Copics and stamped the sentiment from Stamping Bella's Good Vibes sentiment set. I die cut the panel with Sewing Stackers die by Penny Black, added a bit of patterned paper behind it and embellished the card with some clear sequins.

AAA Birthday: May - Toukokuu

Hello and welcome to a very special blog post! AAA Birthday challenge turns two and we are celebrating in a major way. We have a myriad of prizes to be won and many ways to enter to win them. Please check the info box below to find out them all. The challenge theme itself is 'Happy Birthday' so any kind of birthday card is welcome.

I created a very CAS birthday card with a gorgeous floral stamp by My Favorite Things (one of our very generous sponsors!). The stamp I used is called Floral Focus. The stamp itself is larger but I only used a portion of it in my card. I coloured the image with my Copics and die cut it with its matching die. For the background, I die cut a decorative panel using a Penny Black die called Geometric Circles and adhered it straight onto my card base. The sentiment is die cut and it says 'Congrats'. I embellished the card with some clear rhinestones.

Lastly, we have a fun little game for you - The Flag Hunt! We are a multi country DT and have all placed our country's flag on our personal blogs. We'd love for you to go on a flag hunt to discover our countries.

PBSC: May - Toukokuu

Happy May Day! It's 1st of May and time for a new challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. The theme is, as always, Anything Goes with the optional theme of Clean & Simple.

I went with the optional theme and although my card doesn't have lots of white 'white space', I still consider it a CAS card as it doesn't have many layers or embellishments and has a clean look to it. I love tree stamps and this stamp by Penny Black called Arbors is just beautiful! I coloured straight onto the stamp with my Zig markers and after I was done with colouring, I spritzed some water onto the stamp and stamped onto the image with it. I then sponged some Distress Oxide ink onto the edges of the panel and stamped the sentiment from the set Magical Friendship. Lastly, I layered it onto some brown cardstock before adhering to my green card base.

Tässä kortissa ei erityisemmin valkoista 'white spaceä' ole, mutta mielestäni se on silti melko CAS, joten vaihtoehtoisella teemalla mennään.
