PBSC: May - Toukokuu

Penny Black Saturday Challenge is in full swing and I'm here with my reminder card. The theme this month is 'Anything Goes' with the optional theme of 'Clean & Simple'.

I created my card with a gorgeous new stamp by Penny Black called Captivating from the new release Delight. This is absolutely beautiful stamp and it's big enough to fill the whole card front which is why I kept my card otherwise quite simple. I stamped and watercoloured the image before stamping the sentiment from the sentiment set Carefree Wishes on my panel. I then lightly sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Bundled Sage and Brushed Corduroy on the edges of the panel before adhering the panel onto purple cardbase.

Oman korttini tein uudella Penny Black -leimalla Captivating, joka on osa uutta kokoelmaa Delight. Tämä leima on aivan ihana ja tarpeeksi iso täyttämään koko kortin etumuksen, paljon muuta ei tämän rinnalle tarvitse laittaa. Väritin leimakuvan vesiväreillä ja leimasin tekstin setistä Carefree Wishes. Paneelin reunoille sudin vähän Distress Oxide -musteita väreissä Bundled Sage ja Brushed Corduroy ennen kuin kiinnitin paneelin liilaan korttipohjaan.

Guest Designing at TIME OUT Challenges! - Vieraana TIME OUT Challengesissä!

I have the huge honour of being a Guest Designer for the current challenge at TIME OUT Challenges - thank you so much, ladies, for having me! The theme for this fortnight is 'Move'.

I interpreted the theme literally as moving one's body and this Yoga Mochi Girl by Stamping Bella sure does move her body! I wanted to keep the design clean and simple so I just coloured the image with my Copics and stamped the sentiment from Stamping Bella's Good Vibes sentiment set. I die cut the panel with Sewing Stackers die by Penny Black, added a bit of patterned paper behind it and embellished the card with some clear sequins.

Sain kunnian olla Guest Designer tämänkertaisessa TIME OUT Challenges -haasteessa. Aihe on 'Move'.

Tulkitsin aiheen kirjaimellisesti 'itsensä liikuttamiseksi' ja tämä Yoga Mochi Girl Stamping Bellalta kovinkin liikuttaa kroppaansa. Pidin kortin simppelinä ja väritin leimakuvan Copiceilla, leimasin tekstileiman Stamping Bellan Good Vibes -setin leimalla ja stanssasin paneelin Penny Blackin Sewing Stackers -stanssilla. Taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia ja koristelin kortin muutamalla kirkkaalla paljetilla.

AAA Birthday: May - Toukokuu

Hello and welcome to a very special blog post! AAA Birthday challenge turns two and we are celebrating in a major way. We have a myriad of prizes to be won and many ways to enter to win them. Please check the info box below to find out them all. The challenge theme itself is 'Happy Birthday' so any kind of birthday card is welcome.

I created a very CAS birthday card with a gorgeous floral stamp by My Favorite Things (one of our very generous sponsors!). The stamp I used is called Floral Focus. The stamp itself is larger but I only used a portion of it in my card. I coloured the image with my Copics and die cut it with its matching die. For the background, I die cut a decorative panel using a Penny Black die called Geometric Circles and adhered it straight onto my card base. The sentiment is die cut and it says 'Congrats'. I embellished the card with some clear rhinestones.

Lastly, we have a fun little game for you - The Flag Hunt! We are a multi country DT and have all placed our country's flag on our personal blogs. We'd love for you to go on a flag hunt to discover our countries.

AAA Birthday täyttää 2 vuotta! Juhlan kunniaksi meillä on useita eri sponsoreita ja useita eri tapoja voittaa (tarkemmat tiedot yllä olevassa laatikossa). Teemana on 'Happy Birthday' eli kaikenlaiset synttärikortit ovat tervetulleita.

Oman korttini tein My Favorite Thingsin (joka on yksi sponsoreistamme!) leimalla Floral Focus. Käytin leimasta vain osaa ja väritin leimakuvan Copiceilla. PBSC: May - Toukokuu

Happy May Day! It's 1st of May and time for a new challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. The theme is, as always, Anything Goes with the optional theme of Clean & Simple.

I went with the optional theme and although my card doesn't have lots of white 'white space', I still consider it a CAS card as it doesn't have many layers or embellishments and has a clean look to it. I love tree stamps and this stamp by Penny Black called Arbors is just beautiful! I coloured straight onto the stamp with my Zig markers and after I was done with colouring, I spritzed some water onto the stamp and stamped onto the image with it. I then sponged some Distress Oxide ink onto the edges of the panel and stamped the sentiment from the set Magical Friendship. Lastly, I layered it onto some brown cardstock before adhering to my green card base.

Hauskaa vappua! Toukokuun alku tarkoittaa uutta haastetta Penny Black Saturday Challengessä ja aiheena on taas Anything Goes. Vaihtoehtoinen aihe on Clean & Simple.

Tässä kortissa ei erityisemmin valkoista 'white spaceä' ole, mutta mielestäni se on silti melko CAS, joten vaihtoehtoisella teemalla mennään. Käytin tähän Penny Blackin ihanaa leimaa Arbors, väritin suoraan leimaan Zigeillä ja lopuksi leimasin vedellä päälle. Reunoihin mustetin Distress Oxide -mustetta ja tekstileiman leimasin setistä Magical Friendship. Lopuksi kerrostin paneelin ruskealle kartongille ja vihreään korttipohjaan.

PBSC: April - Huhtikuu

 

We're midway throught the April challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge where the theme is Anything Goes with the optional theme of Cute.

I went with cute again and made a little tag that I needed for a little thank you present. I used a stamp by Penny Black called Flying By - I think the little bunny flying with her little flower is so very cute! I coloured the image with my Zig markers and die cut it with its matching die. I created the tag by die cutting a scalloped round base and die cutting the patterned paper inside it. I heat embossed the sentiment (it says 'Thank you') on a strip of grey cardstock. After adhering everything in place, I embellished the tag with some sequins.

Itse valitsin söpön linjan ja tein pienen tägin. Leimakuvana käytin Penny Blackin ihanaa Flying By -leimaa. Väritin sen Zigeillä ja stanssasin irti. Tägin pohjan stanssasin ja stanssasin siihen vielä kuviopaperia. Tekstileiman embossasin harmaalle kartonkisuikaleelle ja lopuksi koristelin tägin paljeteilla. 

AAA Birthday: April - Huhtikuu

The April challenge is live at AAA Birthday! This month the theme is 'A Shaped Card', so not a square or a rectangle but something else - the sky is the limit! As our Guest Designer, we have the very talented Trina P.

I love circle cards so that is what I made. I die cut the card base with My Favorite Things' Stitched Mini Scallop Circle die and die cut a piece of patterned paper for the background. As my stamped images, I used stamps from the Meadow Motifs set by SugarPea Designs that I coloured with my Copics. I stamped my sentiment (it says 'On your birthday') on a little banner and added some tiny clear sequins as embellishments.

PBSC: April - Huhtikuu

It's time for April challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge! The theme is Anything Goes with the optional theme of 'Cute'.

I chose the optional theme of 'cute' and created my card using a stamp from the Love & Happiness set that I coloured with my Zig Markers. I die cut the panel using a die from the new Sewing Stackers die set and stamped the sentiment on it from the new Smiles sentiment set. I also added a tiny heart die cut with Hearts Galore die next to the sentiment. I then matted the panel onto blue cardstock and added a bit of patterned paper from the paper pad Gentle Whisper behind it.

Päätin tehdä kortin söpö-aiheella ja otin leimakuvakseni tämän nallukan Love & Happiness -setistä. Väritin sen Zigeillä ja stanssasin paneelin Sewing Stackers -stansseilla. Teksti on setistä Smiles, lisäsin sen viereen vielä pienen sydämen, jonka stanssasin Hearts Galore -stanssilla. Kerrostin paneelin siniselle kartongille ja lisäsin taustalle kuviopaperia paperikosta Gentle Whisper.
