Penny Black Delight: Fragrant Friends

Well, I couldn't leave Penny Black's new Fragrant Friends stamp set alone but had to make another card with it, this kitty cat is so cute!

Again, I coloured the image with my Zig markers and fussy cut it out. For the background, I die cut a panel with Geometric Circles die and adhered it straight onto my card base. I adhered the kitty with foam adhesives as I did the little banner die cut with Pocket and Banners die onto which I heat embossed the sentiment from the Fragrant Friends stamp set. I embellished the banner with a little twine bow. I stamped the second part of the sentiment onto the card base and embellished the card with some sequins.

Tein vielä toisenkin kortin Penny Blackin uudella ihanalla Fragrant Friends -leimasetillä. Väritin kisun nytkin Zigeillä ja leikkasin irti. Taustalle stanssasin paneelin Geometric Circles -stanssilla ja kiinnitin suoraan korttipohjaan. Tekstileimat ovat Fragrant Friends -setistä, embossasin toisen niistä bannerille, jonka stanssasin Pocket and Banners -stanssilla ja koristelin pienellä rusetilla. Penny Black Delight: Fragrant Friends

This little cutie is from the new stamp set by Penny Black called Fragrant Friends and I thought he'd be perfect for a birthday card.

I coloured the kitty with my Zig markers and fussy cut it out. For the background, I used a bit of patterned paper from the paper pad Summertime and a panel that I die cut with Graceful Stackers die. Before removing the die from the panel, I sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Dried Marigold and Ripe Persimmon on it so that the die left a crisp white border around the panel. I created the sentiment by die cutting the word 'happy' with the Happy die and heat embossing a sentiment from Snippets sentiment set - just like I did on my previous card here. On this card, I replaced the 'A' with the fussy cut kitty that I adhered with foam adhesives. To embellish the card, I used some pink enamel dots.

Tämä suloinen kisu on uudesta Penny Blackin leimasetistä Fragrant Friends. Väritin sen Zigeillä ja leikkasin irti. Taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia paperikosta Summertime ja paneelin, jonka stanssasin Graceful Stackers -stanssilla. Ennen kuin poistin stanssin paneelista, mustetin paneeliin Distress Oxide -musteita Dried Marigold ja Ripe Persimmon niin, että stanssi jätti valkoisen reunuksen paneelin ympärille. Tekstin tein samoin kuin edellisessä kortissa, stanssasin sanan 'happy' Happy-stanssilla ja embossasin tekstileiman setistä Snippets. Kissan kiinnitin kohotarroilla A:n tilalle. Lopuksi koristelin kortin enamel dotseilla. Kaikki käytetyt tuotteet ovat Penny Blackin ja saatavilla nettikaupastaan, linkit tuotteisiin yllä.

Penny Black Delight: Happy

It's not often that I make cards without a stamped focal image but it's fun to go out of my comfort zone every now and again and that is exactly what I did with this fab new word die from Penny Black. 

First, I stamped onto teal coloured cardstock with the new Contemporary stamp and heat embossed it in white. I then adhered panels of white cardstock onto some craft foam and adhered them onto the teal cardstock. Using the new Happy word die, I die cut the letters three times and adhered them on top of each other for a bit of dimension before glueing them in place. Lastly, I heat embossed a sentiment from the Snippets sentiment set onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered it in place.

Teen harvoin kortteja ilman leimakuvaa, mutta joskus on kiva koittaa vähän jotain muutakin. Tämän kortin kanssa tein juuri niin :) Leimasin ensin  Penny Blackin Contemporary-leimalla sinivihreälle kartongille ja embossasin kuvion. Siihen päälle kiinnitin sitten valkoisesta kartongista paneelit, jotka olin ensin kiinnittänyt fun foamille. Stanssasin tekstin uudella Happy-stanssilla kolmeen kertaan ja kiinnitin kirjaimet päällekkäin ennen kuin kiinnitin ne korttiin. Tekstin päälle kiinnitin pienen kartonkisuikaleen, johon embossasin tekstileiman setistä Snippets. Kaikki käytetyt leimat ja stanssit ovat siis Penny Blackin ja saatavilla nettikaupastaan, linkit tuotteisiin yllä.

Penny Black Delight: Companions

I made this birthday card with some new stamps from the new Penny Black release, Delight.

The gorgeous new floral stamp I used is called Companions, I stamped it onto watercolour paper, coloured with my watercolours and partially fussy cut the image. I then used a new background stamp called Contemporary, stamped it with some Versamark ink onto pink cardstock and heat embossed in white. I splattered the panel with some black and gold watercolour and stamped the sentiment from the sentiment set Carefree Wishes. After attaching everything in place, I embellished the card with some clear sequins.

Roiskin paneeliin myös hieman mustaa ja kultaista väriä. Reunalta laitoin näkymään kartonkia, johon olin embossannut kuvion uudella Contemporary-taustaleimalla. Penny Black Delight: Florescence

I'm sharing another card made with a new stamp from the new Penny Black collection called Delight. This is Florescence, an absolutely stunning floral stamp. It reminds me of a hibiscus my Mum had when I was a child, it used to bloom with gorgeous big deep red blooms so that is why I coloured this bloom red.

I wanted to keep the card simple to let the image shine so I simply stamped it onto a panel of watercolour paper and coloured with my watercolours. I then masked the edges and lightly sponged a rectangle around the flower with Distress Oxide ink in Bundled Sage. Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from Blooming Sentiments set.

Penny Black Delight: Fur & Feathers

 I'm sharing a card made with a new stamp by Penny Black called Fur & Feathers from their newest collection Delight.

This little scene was such a joy to watercolour! I stamped it onto watercolour paper and coloured it with my watercolours before cutting it to a size to fit my card base. For the sentiment, I used two stamps, one from the set Snippets and one from Happy Snippets, and heat embossed them onto strips of brown cardstock. To embellish the card, I die cut a branch with Dancing Leaves die and added a bit of string tied into a bow and some sticky back pearls.

PBSC: May - Toukokuu

Penny Black Saturday Challenge is in full swing and I'm here with my reminder card. The theme this month is 'Anything Goes' with the optional theme of 'Clean & Simple'.

I created my card with a gorgeous new stamp by Penny Black called Captivating from the new release Delight. This is absolutely beautiful stamp and it's big enough to fill the whole card front which is why I kept my card otherwise quite simple. I stamped and watercoloured the image before stamping the sentiment from the sentiment set Carefree Wishes on my panel. I then lightly sponged some Distress Oxide inks in Bundled Sage and Brushed Corduroy on the edges of the panel before adhering the panel onto purple cardbase.
