Birthday card - Synttärikortti

This is a birthday card that I made for my nephew for his 15th birthday. Cards for teenage boys are difficult to make, I think, so I played it safely and made the card CAS and graphic. I used a stamp by Uniko called Background Blocks Equalizer. I heat embossed it in white straight onto black card base and coloured the image with Polychromos pencils. I heat embossed a Papertrey Ink sentiment on a strip of black cardstock and adhered it in place.

Tällaisen synttärikortin tein 15-v. veljenpojalleni. Teinipojille on hankala tehdä kortteja, joten pelasin varman päälle ja tein kortista simppelin ja graafisen. Leimana käytin Unikon Background Blocks Equalizeria, jonka embossasin suoraan korttipohjaan ja väritin Polychromoksilla. Papertrey Inkin tekstileiman embossasin mustalle kartonginpalaselle ja kiinnitin paikalleen. 

Penny Black Season of Hope: Snowfield Friends

I'm continuing making cards with the sweet new stamp set Snowfield Friends from the new Penny Black collection Season of Hope. I love all the images in this set and I think this tree is absolutely beautiful so I wanted to make a card with it.

I stamped the tree on kraft coloured cardstock and coloured it with my Copics. I then die cut the panel with a die from the set Graceful Stackers, left the die in place and sponged white ink on the edges as I wanted to create a frosty, snowy scene. After inking I stamped the sentiment from the new Here's to Xmas sentiment set and splattered some white watercolour on the panel to create falling snow. I die cut the frame with Graceful Stackers dies and adhered both the panel and the frame on a piece of craft foam to raise it from the cream coloured cardbase.

Vielä yksi kortti ihanalla Snowfield Friends -setillä Penny Blackin uudesta kokoelmasta Season of Hope. Tämä setti on vain niin ihana ja tuo puu on mielestäni niin kaunis, että pakkohan sillä yksistään oli kortti tehdä.

Leimasin puun kraftin väriselle kartongille ja väritin Copiceilla. Stanssasin paneelin irti Graceful Stackers -stanssisetin stanssilla, jonka jätin paikoilleen ja mustetin reunat valkoisella musteella. Tämän jälkeen leimasin tekstin setistä Here's to Xmas ja roiskin valkoista mustetta paneeliin lumisateeksi. Kehyksen stanssasin niin ikään Graceful Stackers -stansseilla ja kiinnitin sen ja paneelin fun foamille, jotta saisin ne koholle korttipohjasta.  Kaikki käytetyt tuotteet ovat siis Penny Blackin ja saatavilla nettikaupastaan, linkit tuotteisiin yllä.

Penny Black Season of Hope: Snowfield Friends

I just cannot get enough of this cute little fox! He's so adorable! He's a part of the new Christmas release by Penny Black called Season of Hope and comes in a set called Snowfield Friends.

I stamped my images, all from the same set Snowfield Friends, and coloured them with my Copics before fussy cutting them. I then masked the bottom part of a white panel and sponged some Distress Oxide ink onto it to make the background and stamped the sentiment from Christmas Feeling sentiment set onto it. I die cut the frame with the new Looped Stackers die set, adhered it in place and adhered my stamped images in place. To embellish the card, I used some sticky back white pearls.

Kaikki tämän kortin leimakuvat ovat setistä Snowfield Friends, väritin ne Copiceilla ja leikkasin irti. Maskasin valkoisen paneelin alaosan ja mustetin yläosaa Distress Oxide -musteella, minkä jälkeen leimasin tekstin setistä Christmas Feeling. Reunuksen stanssasin Looped Stackers -stanssisetin stanssilla ja kiinnitin paikalleen, minkä jälkeen kiinnitin leimakuvat paikoilleen ja koristelin kortin puolihelmillä. Happy Father's Day - Hyvää isänpäivää

It's Father's Day in Finland today and this is what I made for my Dad. I die cut the panel with Antique Frame die by Penny Black and stamped Vintage Postcard stamp by Penny Black onto it. I then coloured straight onto the stamp Breezy by Penny Black with my Zig markers and stamped it onto the panel and then went through the stamped image with a moist watercolour brush. Then I placed the die back onto the panel and sponged some Distress Oxide ink onto the panel before removing the die and stamping my sentiment ('Happy Father's Day' in Finnish). I adhered some craft foam behind the panel before adhering it to my green cardbase.

Tein isälleni isänpäiväksi tällaisen kortin. Stanssasin paneelin Penny Blackin Antique Frame -stanssilla ja leimasin siihen Penny Blackin Vintage Postcard -leimalla. Sitten väritin Zigeillä suoraan Penny Blackin Breezy-leimaan ja leimasin, minkä jälkeen kävin leimatun kuvan läpi kostealla vesiväripensselillä. Laitoin sitten stanssin vielä takaisin paneeliin ja mustetin sitä Distress Oxide -musteella, minkä jälkeen leimasin tekstileiman. Paneelin taakse kiinnitin fun foamia ja sitten vihreään korttipohjaan kiinni.

Penny Black Season of Hope: Snowfield Friends

Time for a new challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. The theme is, as always, Anything Goes but if you want a little extra push for your creativity, the alternative theme is TicTacToe. I chose as my row patterned paper - Penny Black stamped image - clean & simple. My Penny Black stamped image comes from the new collection of holiday stamps and dies by Penny Black called Season of Hope, this cute little fox is from the stamp set Snowfield Friends. I coloured him with my Copics and fussy cut him. On the white panel, I die cut the word 'joy' with Merry & Joy die and placed patterned paper behind it from the paper pad Wintertime. The stamped part of the sentiment is done with a stamp from the new sentiment set Here's to Xmas. I adhered the white panel onto my card base, adhered the little fox in its place with foam adhesives and embellished the card with some clear sequins.

Penny Black Season of Hope: Choir Kids

I'm sharing a Christmas card made with stamps and dies from the fab new collection Season of Hope by Penny Black.

I love this little choir singing Christmas carols, such a sweet group of children! The stamp is called Choir Kids and I coloured the image with my Copics. I then die cut the frame using a die from the new set Looped Stackers and adhered it to the panel. I heat embossed the sentiment from the stamp set Kindness & Joy onto a strip of cardstock and adhered it in place. For the background I used patterned paper from the paper pad Wintertime. I embellished the card with a snowflake die cut with Polar Pair die, I also added an enamel dot in its centre.

Kehyksen stanssasin Looped Stackers -setin stanssilla ja kiinnitin paikoilleen. Tekstileima on setistä Kindness & Joy, embossasin sen kartonkistripille ja kiinnitin paikoilleen. Taustalle laitoin kuviopaperia paperikosta Wintertime ja kortin koristelin lumihiutaleella, jonka stanssasin Polar Pair -stanssilla. Lumihiutaleeseen kiinnitin vielä enamel dotsin. The Flower Challenge: November - Marraskuu

The November challenge is starting at The Flower Challenge and this month we have a nice and easy one for you, the theme is 'Use a Sentiment'. As our Guest Designer, we have the fabulously talented  Enna. 

 

I made my DT card using this gorgeous stamp called Peony Dreams by Waffle Flower Crafts. I coloured the image with my Copics. For the background I used some patterned papers and as my sentiment, I used a die cut by Winnie and Walter. I die cut it a few times and glued the die cuts on top of each other to make it a bit more prominent. Lastly, I embellished the card with some enamel dots.

Stanssasin sen muutamaan kertaan ja liimasin tekstit päällekkäin, jotta sain siitä vähän näkyvämmän. Lopuksi oristelin kortin muutamalla enamel dotsilla.
